  1. i saw earlier today that France's top court approved a proposal for companies to pay 75 percent tax on annual salaries exceeding one million euros in line with President Francois Hollande's drive to limit executive pay at a time of economic hardship. not the final decision though, but some say this decision was the last piece of the puzzle before making things happen. this will be a huge, huge blow as teams in ligue 1 won't be capable of paying big money anymore. i think now it's the perfect time to make a move on falcao. we're not stupid, even though french media and as monaco are trying to play us for fools telling he's injured - he's unsettled there, he's not happy, he hasn't played a lot in the last few games even though his injury was not a big deal. heard glenn hoddle (ex as monaco!) saying today he's not happy there and he's trying to find a way out. hope jose will sort this out, i'd love having this beast leading our attack.
  2. wow, look at gazzetta dello sport writing about chelsea offering €50mil + david luiz for higuain. transfer rumours related to chelsea fc are sooooooo fucked up this days, but the saddest thing is that people are actually paid in real money to write this kind of bullshit. chelsea to offer €60mil for higuain was the best joke of december so far, but this one today beats it big big time
  3. i'm having a look at every liverpool fc forum out there and their confidence level ahead of this game is beyond imagination. they are challenging for a place in the top4 after a long long time and now they think they are the ultimate football team out there. fucking wankers, can't stand this team and their deluded fans, hope jose will teach them a lesson. chelsea champions and liverpool out from the top4 would be the best news in may
  4. i think it is my first time when writing about nemanja, but let me tell you a little story back in february 2009 i was in turkey, right when teams from romania were playing some friendly matches just before starting the championship again (because of the big winter pause in the romanian championship - during from december to march - romanian teams tend to go to warmer places to play some friendly matches). nemanja matic was playing at that time for mfk kosice and i had the chance to watch the slovaks play twice against cfr cluj and rapid bucharest. he played first against cfr cluj and he scored a nice goal from a free-kick, and then he played against rapid bucharest where he was simply faultless, terrific display in the midfield area and i remember he was a beast in the air, he won every header. i was in the stands at both games and i had a chat with an official from kosice and i asked him about this lad. even though it was a friendly match you could have seen he'll end up being a great player. i didn't knew anything about matic, it was the 2nd time when watching him play and that kosice official i was talking to said to me big clubs are monitoring him with chelsea ready to offer the right money to sign him. (joking a little bit, i said to myself: "hmmmm, not bad, if i'm able to recognize such a talent seeing him only twice, and friendly matches too, it means my scouting skills are not bad at all" ) three or four months later he signed for chelsea and now it is beyond my logic how chelsea let him go w/o putting a buy-back clause in his contract or something like this. i haven't watched him that much in his benfica days, but some say he's better than witsel was when playing for benfica, others say he is benfica's best midfielder right now, but the fact is we need a player like him now and i'd be glad if chelsea would sign him (again!).
  5. tonight's 4-3-3 is the way to go. if playing (solid) like this week in, week out means benching mata, oscar and other fans favourites so be it, i don't care as long as we're winning or taking a point (w/o conceding!!!) away at one of the best teams in epl this season. ffs sunderland and stoke have scored for fun against us and now, when we're rock solid at the back, people are still moaning... two games at the bridge now, hopefully two wins and let the title battle begin!
  6. more and more rumours saying he has a buy-out clause of €38 million are coming. if that's true, i think the price is fair. every striker atletico touched so far turned to gold - bobo vieri, kun aguero, torres, falcao, forlan. and let's not forget jimmy. diego costa could be our next hasselbaink.
  7. eto'o and demba ba didn't do any harm to john o'shea and wes fucking brown, what makes you think torres will be better against mertesacker and vermaelen? i'll be over the moon if we'll manage to concede only once and grab a draw here
  8. try and read that fucking sentence again. i didn't say draxler is the piece of the puzzle we're missing, but if i can get one of the best football talents in the world by swaping him for one of the shitest chelsea players this seasons that couldn't even dribble the swindon town players and 10 more million then let's fucking do this business, right here, right now, can't miss this opportunity. and don't say de bruyne was at the same level as draxler is when he came first to chelsea because you would be talking utter shite, now stop defending de bruyne, he's had his chances and he blew them all, he needs a new challenge or he'll end up just like borini, di santo and kakuta
  9. i feel sorry for the lad, he might be a real talent, can't deny that, but he's not chelsea material in my eyes. €10mil plus kevin de bruyne for draxler looks like the real deal now. let's just hope schalke is willing to do this piece of business
  10. sorry, i was afk and it seems i was mislead by some infos i read on some football websites the correct dates are 26/02 away and 18/03 at home
  11. i don't know if you've heard this before, but he has not renewed his contract with madrid yet. things are unclear for the moment and there is quite a hesitation from both xabi and madrid wheter to renew this contract or not - usually a club like real madrid is not waiting that much to renew an agreement and that made xabi having second thoughts and, apparently, thinking about a new experience. rumours or not, but spanish newspapers say ancelotti would be about the only one from the entire club who wants xabi to continue in madrid... for those who have not watched him this season, he has been in superb form so far, real madrid is a completely new team since he came back after that injury and i think now it's the time for jose to do his magic and bring a world class partner for ramires.
  12. steaua played tonight and the game ended in a 1-1 draw against galati just minutes ago. well, steaua is in deep shit right now, they are looking awful and if you want to know how steaua is looking right now just think about the 1st game in bucharest where chelsea won 4-0 - they are now 10-20 times weaker than they were in that game. watching their games is like listening to a broken record, they send you to bed, they're winless in this joke of a championship in over a month, they are outplayed in every game in the last six or seven games and they're not even the best team in romania anymore. believe me when i say you they look worse than a league one team. tonight, away at galati, they were so lucky to grab a point and they should thank galati for those big chances squandered and also the referee for closing his eyes when galati should have been awarded two penalties. but that's nothing new here in romania because steaua is used to be helped by the referees every season. also their coach used to defend his players everytime, just like mourinho does, but now the atmosphere is not the same anymore at steaua, he is blaming his players live on tv and the morale is not that high as it used to be. their general manager said tonight they don't care about this game and they're only thinking about next game in liga 1 against ceahlaul. he said they will come to london to play a decent game and give their fans that will be in the stands something to cheer about. steaua's captain and best player, bourceanu, is suspended and will miss this game. this is a huge huge blow as he is steaua's engine and they don't have a decent replacement for him. a fact - if steaua does not win this game they will become the worst team to have ever participated in the champions league group stages as they are winless in their last 22 games. they are now tied with lokomotiv moscow. this is the perfect opportunity for chelsea to bounce back and this game has goals written all over it if jose and the players will choose to take it seriously. steaua is a joke right now and chelsea should easily score four or five goals
  13. you know you're having a shit season if you're level on points with liverpool and behind arsenal in the standings... but i'm thinking, you know, our defence must be so poor if stoke, who only scored three goals in their last six games at home, can match that ratio against us... southampton one shot on goal, sunderland three shots on goal and stoke three shots on goal - seven shots on our goal and seven goals conceded in the last 3 epl games. wtf?
  14. from what ive seen in this season, if there is a player underperforming in a game, he'll be benched in the next one, but that is not the case with oscar it seems... the brazilian is one of my favourite players, but he is way out of form, he's been a mess in his last two games, he's been horrible against newcastle and i haven't seen much of him against schalke. should have been mata's turn... and mikel too....
  15. i think you got that wrong, the lad is not expecting someone to ask him who Leander Paes is because everybody should know who he is you know. as for the game i think we did a pretty good job albeit i was expecting something different from Schalke in this two matches, but i think this showed Bundesliga's limits. I really think we could play the B-side against any other opponent in Germany, except for bayern and borussia, and still get a clean sheet at the end of the game. ps: cahill-terry looks like a solid pairing and i think jose will stick with them when meeting big teams and rami-mikel should be the pivot from now on. Also willian is the real deal, he is such a great player to watch and sammy eto'o i think is starting to show his class off topic: talking about willian, just have a look at tottenham forum - after tonight's game against sherif(?????????????), fucking sherif tiraspol from moldova!!!, lamela is the new cristiano ronaldo and eriksen is compared to oscar and makes ozil looks shite... holy fuck!
  16. Lewandowski: „Entscheidung über neuen Club bereits gefallen. Nächstes Jahr werde ich eine Entscheidung bekannt geben. Es braucht sich keiner mehr bei mir zu melden. Ich möchte nächste Saison einfach etwas Neues erleben, obwohl ich mich in Dortmund sehr wohlfühle.“ Lewandowski: „I've already made a decision about the club I'll sign with. I'll announce it next year so there is no need for the clubs to contact me anymore. Next season I just want to experience something new, even though I feel very comfortable in Dortmund.“ well, fair play to that football club that will sign this great striker for free, hope it will be chelsea fc although i wouldn't bet a penny on it.
  17. planet earth to chelsea football club - "we're glad to have you back!" well, fair play to pardew, he was smarter than jose and he won that game for newcastle. After watching the 1st half and seeing our players' attitude and how frustrated mourinho was, i thought, you know, we would come back for the 2nd half with a different approach and with a better attitude, but instead we got RAPED!!! in the midfield area by anita, cabaye and sissoko. That's why i'm saying pardew won that game for them: he noticed our pivot is SHIT with Lamps there and he took his chances - press higher up the pitch and see if that is working; well, it worked just fine, Ramires could not cope with the pressure by himself and newcastle won this game. With all due respect for Frank, this wonderful player and this Chelsea Football Club LEGEND, but we need Mikel-Ramires in the pivot from now on, especially away from home against difficult opponents such as newcastle. It is my first time here when writing about Lamps, i thought, you know, this pivot with him and Ramires might work just fine, knowing that Jose is in charge, but it seems every story has its ending and we have a saying here in Romania - "age does not forgive you". And add to all this Oscar's performance today - he had a horror game, he has done nothing on the pitch, he was shit both offensively and defensively and i'm sure more games like this will come for him because nobody is perfect. And this is why we need another player next to Ramires, we need a guy to help him when someone will be having an off day, just like today. I admit we did win some important games with Lamps and Ramires in the pivot this season, but we would lie to ourselves if we think Lampard-Ramires is the right pivot for this team... i saw no spark in our game, it looked like they were expecting someone from Mars to come to St James' Park and put the ball in the net, but what's done is done. What does not kill you, makes you stronger. We had an off day, but fortunately we now have a couple of games at home to bounce back and be even stronger than we are now. The expectations were high before the game, but you know, let's stay positive! today was just an off day.
  18. extra time it is then! now get the job done and finish city off
  19. yep, watching it too. best case scenario would be extra time
  20. i'm not the one to get too excited after a run of great games, but boy this smells like '04 again newcastle is a decent team, but with such a shaky defence and i'm pretty confident jose and his army will prevail in the end. three goals against krul should do the job imo
  21. he can defend, he can attack, he can tackle, he can pass, he can dribble, what a player and he is not even at his full potential.
  22. i'd put my faith in mario to save the planet! valdes rio ferdinand - pepe - shawcross busquets - barton hulk cristiano suarez - balotelli © - diego costa
  23. zubizareta is in germany and it seems barcelona have reached an agreement with gladbach for ter stegen well, at least no more barcelona bullshit from now on when it comes to courtois.
  24. baker, chalobah, loftus-cheek, josh, swift, brown, kiwomya, kane. shaw is very talented, but so are this guys. and they are all Englishmen.
