Lampard has been an attacking midfielder for years, you cant expect him to suddenly become a great CDM at the end of his career. On that basis I can say Matic is a better CDM than him and will be a better choice for the pivot. I can guarantee it.

At what point have I denied what Lampard has done for us? I said he is a legend. You cant deny that he is absolutely shit in the double pivot. Defensively he isnt good enough and half the time he is too far up the pitch to get back and defend in time. We have been a lot more solid since Mikel / Luiz came in next to Ramires.

If you cant see the difference between a CDM and an attacking midfielder who is being forced to play further back because of his age then I think you should stop watching football.

Passing its not even a contest. Rambo is like the worse passer ive seen affiliated with the brazilian NT, worse than Cbs +full backs... However, his 1v1 ability is amazing and his speed is by far the best on Chelsea... Also, now rambo will have legs to help him and the Ams throughout the game so they can concentrate on the other side as well.

Maybe you should go back and read the posts again. Matic is a better CDM than Lampard.

When lampard goes in attack, he doesnt draw that many defenders.
Especially, in the counter, Rambo is deadly with his speed and 1v1 ability (best on our team by far).....

I think this was a summer move done early because Jose believes we can win the league this year. Hard to argue with that because we're well placed.

He is not signed to be competition for anyone, he is a NAIL ONE STARTER. Only 1 place left now for Lamp/Rami and Mikel. Would be annoyed if Lampard is the one Jose chosen.

If you want to loan him to a team like let's say Stoke or Newcastle, he will not do it. If you loan him to a team like Everton, they will become serious contenders for a CL spot, if you loan him to one of the top teams there's a big chance you'll be giving them a title.

Everyone seems to be happy with the millions coming in, but I just hope that his next step after Wolfsburg will be Bayern or Real and not Arsenal or ManUtd, because I don't want to see him helping them at winning titles. Such a great player. His vision on the pitch combined with passing, shooting and dribbling skills, very special player. We're still gonna hear a lot about this kid.
How wonderful would it be if he'd score the winning goal in that one important match in July in Rio de Janeiro. I would say it would be even more ironic if he'd do that against England, but let's be honest, how small is that chance?
