Even Benzema was signed for around £40m and he was no where near as good as Falcao now.

What is funny though is people complaining that Falcao/Cavani for £50-£60m is too much while WILLIAN for £30m is nothing LOL. Not if the report is true imo, LOL 48m for a player Jose won't even need, he WILL TRY EVEYTHING in his power for the club to accept this if ti is true. For £30m+ yeah I probably would agree. While he isn't really the best technical player, he is the one of the most hard working player I have seen, even if we were 3-0 up he would still take the ball and charge up field, not just sitting around and pass it. I think he isn't as explosive this season because Jose instructed him to stay back and covers for Lampard who is having a terrible season, always wandering forward at will and not pacey enough to get back and cover.

To be fair he knows that he isn't the main man at Chelsea atm and he knows that probably no player will win his personal battle with Mourinho unless he is Ronaldo/Messi. So if he had came out and criticizes Jose he knows he basically ended his own Chelsea career since he isn't exactly Mou's favorite atm anyway. I would wait until after/if he left and see if he starts to talk bad about us/Jose then judge him and his personality then, not atm.

Like it or not, this is probably his last regular season for us. He will leave/be benched majority of the time next season when Courtois come back or he won't come back at all. I think we should hope Cech has a good season, he deserves it after everything he has done for us over the years.

Reus got £30m release clause and imo Kevin is worth at least £10m anyway so around £20m seem fine, maybe at £25m at a push. AND LOL Gundogan is worth £50m now. I know he is good but he is not even he best CDM in the world ATM and he isn't exactly super fit either, he is still out atm for his ankle injury that he picked up like 2 months ago. He probably isn't even worth more than £30m let alone £40-£50m.

Yeah Kevin+£20m for Reus or +£10m more Gundogan. Either way he just has to leave permanently if he wants to flourish like Sturridge. It just isn't working here, some time you just have to admit the best way for both sides is for the player to move on.
