  1. Zouma bossing it... I don't see much of the raw part...
  2. I'm talking about the change... setting for a draw at this point isn't pathetic... I guess it's you that can't be helped
  3. the players are tired, we have a bunch of academy and youth players on the bench, stop with the overreaction.... we aren't playing Hull City, in case you mixed the names...
  4. our players are very tired... you can see it. Oscar is snailing on the pitch. Willian and Hazard in this latest attack couldn't run to reduce space in the final third. I think this draw will end up being a good result. I'd still bring DD for Oscar though... Let Remy go to the wing and one between Willian or Hazard to #10. It's not like Oscar's supposedly defensive presence will be missed. He's nowhere, doing nothing, clearly exhausted...
  5. random comment, but how horrible are City's socks?
  6. the more I see of Zouma, the more I fall in love with him. Fucking class
  7. and if that wasn't bad enough, Terry's headers in the midfield are also ridiculous.... he's made way too many mistakes, but will count as a head duel won.
  8. what has been the problem with Iva's passing today? It's been bloody horrendous. And why isn't Luís on the bench? Is he injured?
  9. agree, but the only reason he's playing is because we have no one else except youth... he's played 210 minutes within a week, he can't cope with it I have zero hopes of him improving in the second
  10. dreadly by Courtois there... the goal is on him imo
  11. the officiating got blatant now... not even close that was a throw in and then we concede
  12. Zouma has been bloody clinical and solid. He will never leave the team I feel Goodbye Cahill, it wasn't that nice, but thanks for the services
  13. fuck yeah remy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 amazing HAZARD
  14. nice pass by Willian... he can see after all...
  15. I didn't mean us (the give a fuck part), but the clubs. Everyone is shitting all over those FFP rules except us and a few others. Maybe it's time we start doing the same as the consequences are hardly harming.
  16. and who gives a fuck about it? City, PSG, Barcelona all proving that FFP is there just for pretense. Also we've been doing great, I'm sure we can afford some expense and still be okay. Nothing scandalous, but some spending. I don't think we won't have any other revenue and stuff that won't allow us to get Cuadrado... we're allowed to spend a bit more than we earn according to FFP anyway... also we don't know when the new sponsorship for the shirt will be announced and the first part paid... and that's your final answer...
  17. Both times he played against City he's scored the opening goals... so it's not a surprise he's on the squad list (if he is). It doesn't mean he won't march tomorrow or Monday. I'd rather if he didn't. Why can't we have him AND Cuadrado and loan or give Salah to Fiorentina as part of the deal? I like Salah, he's a nice kid, but I've never seen what he could add to our play that others couldn't. I see some things Schurrle can add to our play that others can't... But as Mourinho said, when he's in form, Schurrle is amazing, but when he isn't, he's bad (so, so was for the benefit of the player). So it's not like you can always count on him, but he has a good track against City.
  18. I am... Cahill is not good enough. Super protected, you can cover some of his weaknesses, and he has some strengths like last second tackle (after he probably backed off), but in general he's just limited for a team as big as Chelsea and I can't wait until we don't need to have our pivot attached to our defense to make they look decent.
  19. I hope tonight is his night. I'm putting all my bets on him. Go, Eddie, go!
  20. I'm not sure Oscar about how Oscar would be in such a role, but I absolutely agree with the first part of your post. It seems like people already forgot about Mata. When a player - with talent, the cases with both Mata and Kev - is given a lot of freedom, is made the main man in the team, can do and roam as they please in the pitch OF COURSE they will have amazing stats and influence a lot of matches. Is Kev better than Eden? Maybe for some Belgians yes, because of Belgium NT, but for others even then he isn't. But what if Hazard, instead of Kev, was made the star of the NT? What if their deft manager had a different game plan that suited Hazard more (or had any game plan at all because he seems to just want to please players and give them a good environment with no effective tactics)? So, I'm sorry if I back up the idea that if we had to invest in someone that in a couple of years would be the guy to roam free in the team I pick Hazard between him and Kev - because I don't think Kev can cope with the demands the other attacking players have here. I'm very happy for Kevin because I absolutely love the kid, but he wouldn't be even close to that here. He would certainly do better than Willian in the RW (has great crosses and vision and a deadly finishing) offensively, but could he cope with all the work rate this team needs to work? People are already complaining about our pressing and the compactness of the team, with a player like Kev replacing Oscar or Willian it would be even worse. Also there was something about his personality/commitment on training sessions that absolutely pissed Mourinho. We already have enough players with drive/character issues - if that was the problem with Kev, we honestly don't need another player. I hope he continues to shine and hopefully find a bigger team to play. That team just isn't Chelsea imo... unless we sell Hazard in a few years.
  21. it missed an 'if' in the second part. I mean I don't know because I haven't been following any transfer saga (as usual) not Schurrle's, Salah's, Costa's or Cuadrado's. I came here after I saw an article on the OP saying we agreed to terms... If Schurrle leaves, it won't actually have much of an impact... he's been MIA for a long time and while I still defend we should keep a player of his profile, it's nearly indifferent if he stays or leaves.
  22. I said I definitely thought he was going to improve us - to make an impact, but I didn't expect him to be that amazing as people were making him out to. My prediction about his amount of goals was 20+ (23 or 25, can't remember).... that isn't the same as overrated, just that I rated him lower than most, to which I admitted being wrong. Cuadrado I'm saying will slightly improve us - if at all. Big difference. Costa would always be well spent money because we had NO striker... now we really needed to improve our defense and our pivot (especially the squad players) and instead we're slightly improve our AM. Sorry if I think we're wasting money that should be spent more wisely somewhere else. RW isn't even the position we needed more in the first place. You're confusing me with you I'm not even sure Shirley is leaving - is a shame he's leaving, but I don't see the need of a better RW (something Cuadrado barely is) when we have Cahill and no replacement for Cesc and Matic. Ramires can replace both to some extent, but he's been injured, we never know which Ramires will show up in the pitch and Matic has stamina issues. So instead of spending money in the areas that have been costing us points, we're almost improving our AM... Cuadrado is better than Willian (doesn't take much honestly), but he's a Willian 2.0 in the sense his impact in the team will be nearly irrelevant. I hope to be wrong, but I don't see us improving as a team with Cuadrado, regardless of who leaves the team and who stays. If you are going to improve RW then go for players like Reus and Bale (even Sanchez), not the likes of Cuadrado. edit: in time - I hope to be wrong if we do sign him. If there's one thing I love to be wrong about is when I underestimate one of our new signings. I'm all for being wrong, but I just don't feel like this guy will take us to the next level whereas our defense and our replacements for Cesc or Matic are still dreadful. Also a combination of a tired/off day/not on par replaced pivot exposes even more our defense. So we have a chronic issue in the back... Matic has to play at high level at all times, can't be out of the team to prevent exposing even further a defense that more often than not has Iva and Cahill. It's almost domino effect.
  23. It made me even more depressed about this signing. I already think he's Willian 2.0 and then a guy comes and writes that? So we're in for a player that will perform worse than Willian? I don't even agree William gives us a 7 rated performance every week, more like 6 with the odd 8. Depressing post (by him, not you) and the worst part is that I agree with him... This is a slightly better Willian which means wasted money on not good enough player that will bring no relevant impact or improve us considerably.
