English commentary sucks... with all respect. I hate audio only commentary, but Brazilian is much more detailed and gives you more emotion and idea of what's really going on I only figured out it was a Cahill goal 10 seconds after the thing because there's no even a 'goal' shout. fml

I guess the youth moaners will be half satisfied?

1) I think you didn't read the news about what Tito's wife said about her late husband's 'closest friend' (didn't even talk to Pep); 2) a team that good wouldn't be spanked in two separate legs because of that. 3) There's no comparison between the football that Bayern played and Pep's. Dortmund weakened a lot, there's no strong team in Germany to compare to them. Of course, changes were expected, but he destroyed the team. It doesn't matter what they're winning, but how they went from amazing football to a whole mess in like what? 5 months? As I said, the excuses for the grass in the neighbor's pile up. All that said... I'm really fed up with José comments about the support. He should shut the heck up and get the team to continue to produce results. He has no business talking anything - except praise - about support. I'm really disappointed by him this term. Stubborn, late reactions, ultra pragmatic at times and talking shit about those who are way bigger than he'd ever be. He's really begging us to start to wonder. I'm not supporting 'sack Mourinho', but I'm really not that supportive of him as I used to be, he's saying and doing a lot of BS imo - which I normally have a lot of patience with, but the support thing is impossible to ignore.

The worst is considering currently Pep better than current Mourinho... sorry..., I may ignore the Simeone love - as someone else did - but the Pep argument is completely invalid. He DESTROYED that Bayern team, absolutely destroyed it. It came from the best team in the world by a very long distance to being spanked by RM (who they normally spank themselves)... they look nothing like the Jupp team - which was nearly unplayable. God's sake, didn't City beat them twice in one year? If Mourinho destroyed a team like that I'd love to know what some fans enticed by the neighbor's grass would say. They pile up excuses for their 'fave' and nitpick and judge Mourinho for everything...

Chelsea fans must be the hardest bunch to please.... nothing ever seems enough to them. Who was it that thought I was exaggeration about people's criticism on him? Go read last page when people called him shit and had others agreeing with it.
-
You didn't analyze anything - exactly as I expected. You made excuses - it's been a long time this Barcelona have been unplayable. Simeone could have turned this around in the break if he's this wonder, but he couldn't. If three players leave the team and they can't beat a relegation zone side without a robbed penalty maybe they should sell the rest as well as there isn't much they can aim in a season. My point isn't to discredit Simeone or Atleti is to make you realize sometimes managers don't have all the answers, players have bad days and some things just don't work out We - the father of all wasteful teams - have in many occasions dominated and didn't win - regardless if in a tie or not. That's the point, for others - where the grass is always greener - there are tons of excuses and José became the one trick pony that can't get passed SF because he's a coward. And that's coming from someone that is far from happy with José lately, but as usual, this forum is overly harsh in the criticism. There isn't middle ground or common sense. It's either the best thing since sliced bread or the player(s), manager aren't good enough. Maybe instead of signing new players and managers, some people should sign a new club and go support Bayern, Barça, Atletico... it's not like they're English teams, so I don't even consider it cheating or betrayal.

I edited my post and am waiting for your analysis about the best manager in the world's work on those two matches... the excuse isn't that the other teams are better, but that at this stage anything can happen like Chelsea beating Barcelona in the Camp Nou managed by Roberto bloody di Matteo - tactics experts.
-
sure, mate. Reaching 8 UCL SF is something every other manager have in their resume... in addition to three titles... I'd say let's get rid of this loser right now. Btw, I haven't read how Barcelona completely outplayed Atletico a couple of weeks ago and how they scrapped a win this weekend against a team near the relegation zone in SPAIN with a robbed penalty. could you analyze those and Simeone's job on both occasions please, or link me to where you already wrote your thoughts about it if you already did?

no top team in the world - with ambitions as high as Chelsea's - have a defender like this in their team and there's a simple reason why: with those ambitions one simply can't afford to have Cahill. He's awful. Has always been and had a hell of a season last year because even his dreams were protected and we were less daring. In a normal setup he's a walking liability. Unfortunately I don't see it changing soon. And that's one of the biggest problems I have with the current Mourinho. He dared talking about the team lacking balls last year, but he's been lacking some himself when it comes to just throw Zouma there. It just can't get worse than Cahill anyway, so at least let the kid develop and learn from his mistakes.

Did you watch us playing against Swansea on the weekend? A one trick pony doesn't set a team like that. Don't you remember the way we played West Ham, the way we approached matches early this season in general? Some of his choices has been making me wonder how long I really want him here, but to call him a one trick pony is ridiculous - with due respect to your opinion and the ones that liked your post. I'm very disappointed with him lately about how he's been approaching some games and how he doesn't react earlier, but I completely disagree with some of the things you wrote there... Also people suddenly forgot we won or drew all big matches last season in the league? what's this bullshit that we can't play 'big sides'? We drew against both Mancs - while not great, but bad either. We beat this same Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs. The match at WHL was a collective brainfart... which happens in football. and now Mourinho is labeled by the manager that always loses in the SF because he has 4 UCL SF in his resume in the last four seasons. As if that was bad... we aren't the only good side in the world and Ancelloti's RM was one and a half minute away of losing the final. Mourinho isn't as good as he used to be imo, but the overreaction here is unbearable.

Agree with you guys. He was far more effective in the 1x1 duels today. I think he's starting to progress. Too bad for him to get in the team, Azpilicueta, and not Iva will be benched - which I don't even know if feels like progress in all honesty. Iva should be the one to move, but he will never be displaced this season... Time for him to get a red card ban maybe?
-
It's official. he lost it. control of what? He must be drunk or high on spoiled drugs
-
The only player worth mentioning is Courtois. What a match. If it wasn't for him we'd lose by 2-3 goals. Mourinho has been stubborn. He needs to stop taking such cowardly routes... we have City next week. It was crucial for our LEAGUE progress to have killed this match today. We made Liverpool look decent.
-
I agree, but they were awful as well
-
the only scary thing here is how bad we were
-
Cesc has played his worst match by far for us today Same could be said about Matic Iva has had his shockers before, but this one was close. hazard average, Cahill horrendous, as usual. I'm disgusted by this presentation
-
hmmm.... seems interesting *note taken* seriously, I needed the laugh, thanks for sharing
-
Never thought I'd say this, but Mourinho can fuck off with the lack of brains here. There's no scenario going in his head that justifies the lack of subs. Even if it's only to slow down the game for a few seconds he should make some subs.
-
we're asking to lose by 2-3 goals. If he doesn't change it'll happen. It's not about winning anymore, but not losing. He called for the teams' balls last season, but the apathetic this season has been him on many times. Even a blind can see that if he doesn't make changes we'll lose
-
And Mourinho does fucking nothing to change the team Can't he see how crappy we are? He's getting on my nerves with the late subs the whole season.
-
We're begging to concede 2-3 more goals. BEGGING
-
of course the goal would come from Cahill backing off. Does he ever do anything else?
-
Scrap my last comment about the team... even Terry is now making stupid mistakes. Willian is trying to assist Liverpool players now? I know he's working very hard, but what's been his pass accuracy today?
-
I feel like either suiciding watching Willian or trying homicide. I can't decide...
-
The only positive in this match is seeing how much Luís has been evolving in those 1x1s... everything (and everyone else except Terry) has been rubbish or average.
