"the Children's book" by A S Byatt She must get paid by the word judging by the wordiness of her descriptions which are amazing but I get lost in them and there are so many characters I am losing track of them all. Add into that it is actually still in the "proper" English (as Alex puts it) and there is a lot of British colloquialisms that I am sure I am not getting at all (I know I'm a silly yank). I am trying to stick with it.

I'm also one of the newer fans been a fan since 06/07, but honestly I wasn't in to football before that except to watch my kids play. However, I know a lot about sticking with a team for the lean years. My alma mater is shit in American Football and has nanoseconds of brilliance every 10 years or so but I stick by them no matter what because they are my team. I'll stick with Chelsea the same way because they are my team. I love coming to TalkChelsea because I get to hear all of the long time fans share their stories and learn more about the team.

our family car is a Nissan Murano LE and my husband's car is a 2000 Passat that really has seen better days. The automatic windows in the back are broken and he's put wood in the door to hold them up!! And his glove box is held closed by duct tape!! I guess I should be grateful that he used black tape!
