  1. Thanks for pointing it out, but I didn't see that on the official site... but please don't dude me.... I'm not a dude in any way shape or form
  2. In the US you wouldn't get near an NBA or NFL player tho (well not the really good ones!) and they don't ride the subway in NYC often either if they are recognizable! The closest I've come to rubbing elbows with the rich and famous is when actor Seth Green came to graduation last year for the high school I teach at (his sister in law graduated) but other than the local media or sports folks having kids at our school that would be it. oh and my boss's husband used to play in the NFL... that's about it.
  3. interesting but what are their sources? just seems like they are putting that out there to put it out there but honestly being older than the rest of y'all you do need more recovery time as you age especially if you don't take it when you should have in the first place. If JT doesn't take the time to recover from an injury he is going to need more time to recover from the little ones in the long run. I for one am glad to see the lads taking a break from some of the international games to concentrate on the club.
  4. He seems to believe that football isn't a business which it is and he needs to accept that. If the wants a familial type atmosphere with in the club he may never be happy anywhere or perhaps that is just his "excuse" as I recall he was happy with the atmosphere at Real either. I don't think he will be happy any where that he isn't being catered to and has the club answering to him every time he whines. I could be wrong but that is the way he comes across
  5. yes, are cars are huge compared to European cars!! Our roads are much wider than yours in some cases. Most of our cars wouldn't fit through the cities in Europe without getting stuck or hit!! LOL I'm loving it!! It is just enough smaller that I no longer feel like I'm driving a tank but still big enough we can haul all the sports stuff around when we need to and stuff when we travel. I love the AWD when we have to park in some of the dodgy fields for cross county or soccer!! It's all black with tan leather interior and my husband bought me a license plate holder that says I'd rather be watching Chelsea FC!!
  6. traded in my Chevy Trailblazer XLT (7 passenger) for a Nissan Murano LE, a little smaller and AWD but still a soccer mom mobile just one with style now!
  7. jim is this an apple an apple app or only available in England
  8. i've only been to Barbados once but absolutely loved it and thought it was lovely!!! Welcome to talk Chelsea!!
  9. Well done lads!! 3 wins, 3 clean sheets
  10. Exactly and they miss the big things at other times!!!
  11. thank you Drogba!! i hate listening to the game on the radio!!!
  12. Good Morning all!! I was extremely irritated to realize that the game is on Fox Soccer Plus (formerly known as Setana) which I don't have!! Sounds like Malouda's goal was a beauty tho
  13. that's just wrong... all of it
  14. Malouda's hair today made me laugh .... it's always interesting but today it's just odd JT needs to get better control on his temper... geez
  15. i believe they also said the "best team in the country" .... did I hear that right??
  16. I was curious what you said that made him edit it LOL (Love you, Alex!!) Thanks, it was the dumbest way to hurt it, I slipped while walking in a pair of heels (pumps?) on tile about a week ago and have been in agony ever since... so no more pretty girly shoes for a while!! just sensible shoes... how dull Way to go NICO!!!
  17. Good Evening hope your weekend has been relaxing at least!! I am happy with the lads' performance but hope they step it up a little bit in the second half I missed the game last week because MacKenzie had a tournament so I want to see some goals!!
  18. yes, I fully admit I'm being lazy, but by my husband's request for me to take it easy because I threw my back out so I can barely move so I have perfect excuse to sit in my recliner and watch the lads play... okay so I'd be doing that anyway!!
  19. Sad they forced him to make the decision, but happy for the club!
  20. Such sad news! I wish him the best on his new path and am glad to see the club continue to support him. I saw him when he was in the US in 2009 and had always wondered why we never saw more of him.
  21. i joined... I'll lose but I'm in LOL
