Aye he is, American born but of Scots and English decent. I on the other hand am American as they come (Part Native American-French-Dutch on my mom's side and third generation German-Flemish on my dad's).

I think this is pretty typical of most of the US with maybe AC Milan or Juventus thrown in to the list somewhere. Of course there are still a lot of people who would look at that list and say "who?" just because the don't get football. In China, there is a big mix, but United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barca are all popular but English football is the most popular.
