  3. The amateur version, mate! Looooooooooool. I am such a tart when it comes to girlie books :-) If your going to buy smut at least buy well written smut... They didn't even have a proper editor for that book If the errors in it are any indication! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  4. Well, Starship needs a footnote since it was originally Jefferson Airplane but as the original members left it devolved into Jefferson Starship and finally in a bid to keep up with the current style of music made the move to Starship. It was an example of a band that could not evolve with the changing times and finally ended up devolving into a parody of its original greatness. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  5. You were lucky you had your mum overlooking you, i had my elder brother! Man, was he strict sitting next to me! He took me out to the road within two days of me learning how to shift gears! I nearly banged my car twice. I had my older sister to help me too, but honestly my parents wouldn't let any of us on the road until we had very good control. My dad still won't ride with one of us girl's driving after riding with my sister when she was 17 and she is now 54! He had hurt his back and he swears she made it 10x worse! I have to say of the four of us her driving is the worst! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  6. Tired and sore, I have sprained a ligament in my left foot apparently I have a bone that is too short that was causing pain and to compensate I altered the way I walk causing the strained ligament. So bad news is it will take a while to correct but good news is it may help with my knee pain which U have had for decades. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  7. For me, nothing releases you more than a cruise with your fav music on I only drive in when I am the US now so only 1month of the year! I have a driver the other 11, so I usually read in the card. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  8. Been driving for a very long time will never forget the 3 months I spent driving around my backyard getting the timing right on shifting before mum would take me out on a road! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9. The reason for the flip flops is that the front can get caught under the pedal therefore trapping your foot and making it hard to have proper control or darn near impossible should you need to switch pedals to brake. Barefooted has to do with your safety more than anything (as I assume would bareback...although hygiene comes to mind, lol). You need shoes if there is an type of car trouble but also the pressure you exert feels different when you have a shoe on vs. barefoot. quote data-cid='745385' name='DJames' timestamp='1377221224' post='745385'] My first ticket I think the police officer wanted me to grovel not to get one (although his attitude was that he was giving it to me either way) I think I pissed him off because I didn't play his little pathetic game. Another officer there was going to let me off (first ticket, ambiguous sign) but the first bugger was already writing it up. I hate when they try and abuse their power. That just annoys me. I don't play the game either which is probably why I get tickets...too honest for my own damn good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. Why is it so hard to believe we can drive in 9 cm heels? It isn't so hard and shifting isn't an issue at all. To be honest the reason I chose not too is because it is bad for the heel of the shoe! I always kept a pair of clogs or mules (?) in my car so I could easily slip out of my heels as I got in to my car and slip them back on when I reached my destination. In the US it is actually illegal in many states to drive barefoot or in flip flops (thongs?), but I have never read a regulation about high heels. Oh, btw I have never been able to talk my way out of a ticket! My husband can and does all the time. One time he and I were pulled over with in 2 weeks of each other in the exact same spot, he didn't get a ticket and I did! Worse, 3 months later they raised the speed limit! 11. Do you know somebody who goes to Hogwarts?? I'm so jealous right now I have two kids who think they go there or should! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Like I said you'll fit in well! Check out "the pub" in the community for general chatter, most days it is the busiest...except match days. You'll find quite a few of us haven't made it to the bridge since we are international fans. so you are in good company. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. Hi and welcome! If Stingray didn't scare you off you should fit in nicely! I hope you stick around and join the discussions! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  14. Of course! And I love Women's shoes as well!! doesn't every guy? I think the question is on you or on a woman? LOL On another note, how are the UK based exam results turning out? (IGCSE, GCSE, A levels, O levels, OWLS, etc...) It is results day in the for them isn't it? My son did well, his best was an A*A on double award science, but the two pleasant surprises were his languages an A in Mandarin and a B in German not bad for two years of each! He deserved the computer that we bought for him in the US! **** yes I do know some of those exams are imaginary lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. Really!? I need to get myself to a boxing club, then! Yep! Nate got into it because they offered it at school, one of the teachers is a boxer and has an after school activity. When he was interested in more we found a trainer for him. It is a crazy Chinese guy named Seven who looks like he could've on the cover of Men's Fitness. He throws a little Muy Thai (spelling?) with the traditional boxing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  16. Also ... run if you see them doing this! You'd be in trouble either way my friend but perhaps you enjoy that... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  17. If that was Neil Barnett, I can totally see him saying that because I have heard his opinion of Rafa first hand. He says things things that often surprise me but he's honest in his opinions. He is also a nice guy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  18. I would have liked to see us do more in the second half, it is not enough to be up 2-0 at the half if we are going to drop our momentum and allow the other team opportunities in the second half. Granted they were wasted opportunities but at some point that will come back at bites us in the butt! The second half needs to be as strong as the first. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  19. Not a bad idea that.. I've always wanted to get a punch bag and some gloves! Both my husband and son work with a trainer, it has helped them both. For my son, it has helped build his confidence and self esteem. @Chuolo, you could learn with out sparring. It is called boxfit, the exercise/fitness behind boxing. I also don't like the idea of full contact boxing or martial arts for sport. Violence is not a sport. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  20. That is wicked but guess you leave pass it right?? It really made me laugh since she was about a size triple zero, so the irony and the Chinglish (I live in China) really struck me as funny Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  21. If you want to watch at the pub with other fans for the games that are actually on on the afternoon get in touch with the folks at Chelsea in America, they will help you out Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  23. My favorite t-shirt slogan of the day: "PLUMPY NUTS" (written across some girls bosom....) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  24. Thanks mate but there's really no "care" to be taken when a guy drives a van full of explosives and detonates it randomly in the area where you live. You just have to hope that you don't happen to be passing near the van. And all the rest of us can do is hope and pray that there is and end to the senseless violence. I will continue to do do both and to keep your family in my thoughts prayers. I know it is not much and some may not believe but I do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
