^ no thats not the reason. the reason is, that they want the clause to be activated. United offered them directly the amount of the clause, but the clause can only be activated by the player himself. but if he does so, tax income will be rated and United will have to pay even more money. so its a Tax issue. Bilbao doesnt want to sell anybody, so they dont accept offers. if the Player himself deposits his clause, they cant do anything about it. so its more of a political/standing case than a money case.

City have signed Fernando from Porto for 15 m Euros http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/ Mangala could be next....
-
Atleticos president has said, that we are interested in Costa, but that the clause hasnt been paid and until this happens, Costa is a Atletico player http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2014/06/23/primera/1403525414_317621.html According to AS, we will meet this week with Atletico to talk about Lukaku and Diego Costa. If an agreement about the loan of Lukaku can be reached, they Costa transfer could be announced immediately after that according to this report http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2014/06/23/primera/1403487428_265386.html

and business has different dimensions. Wolfsburg have shitload of money and they know that LBs are rare. we would have to pay a huge sum to get him, especially with all the clubs rumoured to be interested. and Business or not, if a Clud doesnt want to sell, they wont sell, especially a Club like Wolfsburg. We arent talking about Porto, Lille or sorts of like.

Was awful until the 80st minute, but than he turned up and was the match winner for Belgium. Needs to play more than 10 good mins in the 1/16 though.
-
Mou hates Pepe, so its obvious that he is biased towards him. At the end of his Madrid reign he benched Pepe and they had a rift with each other. Mou has a big, big ego and once he has fallen out with a player, there is barely any comeback for him. But when you are sitting in the glass house, you shouldnt throw stones at it (Tito and many more incidents).
-
but Ronaldo, Lukaku and Cavani are all shit. Reza did have a good match for the Iran though, should think about him.
-
Compare Costa at Atletico with this one. Del Bosque didnt have a clue how to use him and Spain were awful. People are deluded if they think he is shit because of his Apps for Spain. Maybe you also think that Iniesta, Silva, Busquets, Ramos etc etc are all shit too? Oh and yeah basing one game, Ronaldo is awful too and Müller is the best striker in the world btw. Costa fits much better in our system than in the Tiki-Taka of Spain.

its not double standard, its expectations. or do you expect the same thing from Chadli and Hazard? Hazard was awful. he lost nearly EVERY ball he got, he wasnt going at passes, just waiting for them to come, while an Algerian interrupted (happened multiple times). the assist wasnt to hard to make, as he had plenty of space and room and Mertens made a great run. Hazard is the star player of Belgium, so you obviously expect him to make something happen, but he was awful. not only his performance but his attitude. he looked disgusted and annoyed instead of fighting and trying to improve something. he cant cope with aggresive defending against him, also happened multiple times while playing for us. If he wants to be anywhere near Balon D'Or as he self proclaimed, he should get his ass up and prove it. You can play bad, but at least have the right attitude- he nad nothing today and it shocked me. He was awful in the friendships, but you could think thats because he didnt want to injure himself or something, but today was the same thing. He jogged the whole time, wasnt running anywhere, when somebody passed the ball to him he waited for the ball instead of moving towards it etc etc. You have to be a blind Hazard fanboy to describe this performance as anything decent or good, especially if you know about his ablities. Today he was lazy and led his head down, when things didnt go his way and the Algerians marked him out massively. De Bruyne bossed the 2nd half when he moved to the pivot, thats what you would expect from Eden for Belgium. Taking control and leading your team instead of hiding. Also something I dont get is, why at some games, he isnt going at any one on ones anymore. He is so great at it, but instead of trying to beat the opponents player, he passes the ball backwards and relaxes. dont get him at all sometimes. Needs to up his footballing intelligence.
-
he was really, really awful beside the assist. dont know whats going on with him, seemed like he didnt even care and was jogging aroudn the pitch like a 3 times world footballer ffs
-
Benzema wont leave. He by himself said this, his agent said it too. And he aint overrated I would say. In a team with CR and Bale most of the strikers wouldnt score much.
-
he will cost a huge sum, as Wolfsburg dont need any money. but he is a great LB for sure. would perfer him over Shaw+Filipe but seems as we arent interested.
-
Dont know why we arent interested in Balotelli. Yes, he is a difficult character etc, but he wont be that expensive and has massive talent. Would take Balo over Costa any day tbh. Has everything that a striker needs and he has matured in the last years. Futhermore he is more the striker Mou wants, if you look at our chase for Rooney
-
We should sell Azpilicueta, freaking awful today !
-
it was so clear that now people would start saying "get off him blabla". same shit happened with Cavani at Confed Cup..1st game he didnt score he is total shit, 2nd game he scores bid 60m for him etc etc. Costa had a decent 1st half, 2nd half was bad, but the whole team was freaking awful. Netherlands were the better team, nothing more. Spain didnt lose because of Costa and you could clearly see that he isnt 100% fit yet.
-
it has nothing to do with FIFA but with tax rules in the coutnry. and Fifa has no right to intervene in politics of a country. Also its the fault of an agent, if he accepts a release clause in that extent.
-
if Atletico demand the release clause without agreeing any sort of deal with us, we will have to pay extra taxes.
-
he is a false 10, similiar to Özil, but defensively more solid while being less creative.

Jeremy Wilson @JWTelegraph · 24m No doubting Arsenal had 1st refusal and not interested now. But still told they expect around £5m from proposed move to Chelsea...

Chelsea confident of signing Fabregas http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10894009/Chelsea-confident-of-signing-Cesc-Fabregas-from-Barcelona-for-27-million.html
-
According to EMD Cesc will be officilal in days for 33 m + 3 on add-ons. Barca only need to finally annoucne Rakitic and Cesc will be free to leave http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20140611/fc-barcelona/rakitic-precipita-el-adios-de-cesc-al-chelsea_54408882179.html
-
According to SPORT the deal is being held up because of the profit-clause. We dont even want gift Arsenal a penny, while it seems that Barca want more than 33 m. Hopefully we'll have soon a solution. would be completely dumb to let this move fall through because of 3-4 m of which 1-2 Arsenal would get smh
