  1. ChelsTransferGossip ‏@ChelsTransfer 2m Arsenal close in on Lars Bender, Alexis Sánchez and Mathieu Debuchy in £60m transfer swoop (Telegraph) #FCB #AFC #B04 Bender would be great for the DM. Sanchez amazing. Debuchy also decent transfer.
  2. With Markovic probably coming. Alexis is off to Arsenal. Not good for us. Sanchez is a tremendous player and could also play in the CF position instead of Giroud. Hurts me too see him in their shirt.
  3. Everything right, still you cant deny that he has had a bad WC. Everybody expected that this would be HIS tournament and he would show up. instead he was hiding 90% of the tournament, looking completely unintersted, no will, no hunger, nothing. his attitude was the most disgusting thing I have seen for a long time from a professional. this is the freaking biggsest tournament of the world and he seemed like he wouldnt give a f#ck about it. You can play bad but at least give everything. he seems to not have this attitude. as soon as the game isnt going his way, he seems not interested and annoyed. Hopefully he turns up for us next season though...Mou has to change his mentality. if a 30 year old Robben can run 120 mins and fight for his team, I am sure a Hazard can do this as well. He needs to be more aggresive and direct in his game and he would shit on most defenses in the world.
  4. Wolfsburg will probably play in the CL soon. they are up and coming in the BL. and yes, we can buy him, but Madrid pays CRAZY money for players. like they did for Bale etc. so we would have to pay crazy money for Rodriguez too. I didnt say we cant get him. I said we would have to pay more than 30 million euros to get him. He would cost the same as Shaw I think, 30-40 millions.
  5. transfermarkt doesnt knows shit about real values of players. they are just taking some thinkings of how it might be like, but they are not football experts or financial proffessors, who take certain factors to valuate a player. they are just putting random price tags on them based on the hype aroudn the player and his performances. often they even collect opinions from different users on the board and just take the meridian of it. dont know how bale was rated by them, but surely not at 90 m euros. Suarez is rated at 52 m euros and so on. and that goes for a lot of transfers. people on here dont know what Wolfsburg is and who is behind them. they have got endless amounts of money and dont need any of it. futhermore they know that Rodriguez is one of the best LBs in the world and if people think, we coudl get him for 25 millions, than you should go on playing Football Manager and try your luck. and Di Marzio doesnt knows anything about Wolfsburgs valuation for Rodriguez. And Wolfsburg already said that he wont leave them this summer anyways. They bought him for 8 mi, so they surely wont sell him for 18, while he has been probably the best LB of the Bundesliga or the second best behind Alaba.
  6. he is much better than cleverley...at least the cleverley from last season he is still young, has a very good technique, leadership and is very dynamic. futhermore he has a good sense in terms of positioning himself. very good signing for them, especially as a back-up with the possibility to develop himself and get better. he has been one of Leverkusens best players last season.
  7. or must be because his price tag is insanely high due to the fact, that Wolfsburg have shitloads of money.
  8. @Excalibur100 lacks technique? he is technically one of the best midfielders in the world and playing as a DLP is his best position (like he did with Heynckes for example quite some times) .He will fit well in their 4-3-3 I think and can give more options and flexibility. if he comes, some players will leave though (di maria? khedira? illara?).
  9. shit transfer if true. Are Atletico players the only ones Mou knows? Miranda is completely overrated. Good defender yes, but Godin is much, much better and more important for Atletico. Also Miranda isnt young anymore and nothing what we need. Would be one of this typical Mou transfers where you ask yourself, what he wants to achieve with this one like Altintop to Madrid or Quaresma to Inter etc
  10. ChelsTransferGossip ‏@ChelsTransfer 26m Lukaku will join #Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan, with the official announcement coming after the World Cup. #CFC (El Confidencial) Could do good for him. Simeone is a good coach and in Spain he could develop his technique as it is more important than physics there.
  11. suarez to barca is getting more and more possible. talks were good and it seems that this could happen. they want Sanchez who prefers Arsenal though. lets see how this will end.
  12. dont know why we arent going in for him. Wouldnt lose a second of thought. He is a genius on the ball and head and shoulders above any RW we have. Sell Willian, get him and we will have a monster attack upfront. Hazard-Costa-Sanchez...behind them oscar/cesc whoever...just think of this ffs.
  13. De Bruyne was also the match winner, as both had 1 assist and 1 goal. futhermore as I said, its obviously easier to play against tired defenders after 90 mins and having plenty of space instead of playing from the beginning..face it. he still sucks when he is in tight areas and is marked, while Origi looked to actually have a first touch and good technical ability. Lukaku is amazing on the coutner, as he proved today, but when playing against deep-sitting teams, you can throw him in to the bin.
  14. Origi did better than Romelu in the game. Lukaku came in against already tired Americans and hat shitloads of space to explore, while Origi was marked tight. are people for real celebrating this performance as some kind of rehabilitation? yeah, he was important and changed the game, but it was more due to the opponent than to him, because USA didnt really defend anymore in the overtime. Origi did really well in the first 70-80 mins and created a lot of chances. Origi was already walking like a zombie after 70 mins and shoudl have been subbed off earlier, while Romelu was obviously fresh and clearly is faster than both American CBs, especially after 90 mins under this circumstances. Lukaku from the beginning is something different though, seems like some people are completely blind on here.
  15. poor 1st half from him. and another time poor attitude from him. is barely running aroudn, just jogging and seems without any motivation whatsoever. dont know what is going on with him in this WC...
  16. Got benched for todays game. At least it will get him down to earth from his power trip.
  17. great, finally. 38 m euros is the sum. its not cheap, but well there werent many other options available. would have preferred Cavani or someone else, but it wasnt possible I think. Hopefully he can prove the doubters wrong and prove to be a sucess. pressure is huge on him Tiago should follow next.
  18. According to MARCA Tiago has signed a 2-year contract with us http://www.marca.com/2014/07/01/futbol/equipos/atletico/1404198721.html
  19. probably the worst set-piece taker in the current football world. atrocious at freekicks, corners and also penaltys as it seems.
  20. well he is not Marcelo, but Marcelo is not even a defender, but he is surely more than good at going forward. He is definetely better than what Cole+Azpi offered offensively the last 1-2 seasons on the left wing. As Shaw is not available anymore, I cant see any better options left for us.
  21. it is. for 99% of the footballers it is. he talked up chelsea yes, so what? do you expect him to say positive things about Chelsea on a United PK?! We didnt pay the fee for him, so what can he do? if he had the choice between us and United, he would have chosen us but we didnt bid so no chance. Cesc said he would never work under Mou and now he is here. footballers words are worthless.
  22. so what? this "chelsea fan" stuf nobody cares about. this is football. football is business. who gives you the money is the best club in the world. Özil was also a Barca Fan and played for Madrid and probably tons of Chelsea players didnt give an f about this club before, who cares? thats how football works. Fabregas a few years back talked stuff about Mou and Chelsea and now he is a chelsea player. Figo moved from Barca to Madrid etc also what else should he say at a United Press conference?? "yeah united is aight, but well, chelsea is better" ?? We didnt went in for him so you cant blame him.
  23. United bid 20 m pounds or something like this for Baines, didnt they? Zabaleta came 2008 and was at that moment, not one of the best RBs in the world or the league. Futhermore RBs are cheaper than LBs. Cahill had only 1 year on his contract. Kompany was an ok defender for Hamburg but turned into a beast for City. So really, cant compare anyone of those with Shaw. Signing is perfect. A little overpriced, but if it goes the way it normally should, they are set for 10 years in a position where good players are rare and futhermore have one homegrown spot filled. @The only place to be: I agree with you upon the fact, that they are taking a gamble. In terms of wages, we dont know. some are reporting 75 k others 100 others 120. 75 would be ok I think. You have to see that they arent in the CL this year so they have o pay more, to bring players to their club. Yes, it is a gamble, but sometimes you have to tike gambles in life. I would rather take a 30 m Shaw gamble, than a Torres+Shevchenko gamble, like we did back in the years. It aint like our club isnt doing this type of things. We bought Drogba+ Essien for crazy money, but it paid out. At the beginning people were talking about the huge price tag, but who is now talking about it? Only thinkg we are talking about is being Drogba a legend of this club and Essien of the best midfielders in the last few years. If he flops, yes, they made a mistake, but he still has re-sell value as he is really, really young. They could probably get 50%-30% of the paid price for him, so they wouldnt lose that much money. All in all as I said, if you take all factors in consideration, that transfer is a great one. He could be something Ashley has been for us.
  24. Dont know how people say the fee is "excessive". this transfer could be for 10 years so 30 m for a position, where good players are rare is not that bad though. futhermore he is english, which increases the fee even more. great deal, we wasnt brave enough to go for it and take a gamble. would have sorted out our LB position for quite some time but well, we invest money in AMs which we dont even need. You have also to consider that they dont need to sign any LB in the next years, if everything goes right, so thats also saving money for the future. United pulled off 2 great deals in one day. even if the fee is high, nobody will talk about if they will be succesful .
  25. so if Messi or Ronaldo miss 2 sitters in one game, their market value decreases by 30-40 million, according to your genius formula?
