Cavani is gone we're not signing him. I watch Burak play and realistically he's not Chelsea material, he would be great for maybe Spurs or Arsenal but for a team like us who want to compete for the title he may come a bit short for a few reasons: He is very lazy, he never contributes in defense and blames his teammates on poor passes. He is an OKAY finisher but when I watch him his goals are not convincing in the way that when he finishes it is often a lucky finish through the keeper's legs etc, not convincing enough. Credit where it is due he has great aerial ability and he is exceptionally strong and very fast for his size (target man).

Also the fee would be 30meuros which is £26m. Thoughts?

I can almost definitely see this transfer happening due to the arrivals of Tevez at Juve and soon Higuan to Arsenal. Who knows he has the potential to do great things here linking up with Mata and Eden.

He is a good player, has a great touch and can distribute the ball well. A player that can dictate the flow of the game and play great through passes to create scoring opportunities. He's not far off Modric's level in the pivot but he would cost half the price and he is still young. We don't have any player like that in the team except maybe Lampard who is less creative these days.

I don't think he is needed. He would play in the pivot where we want Oscar to play. Hopefully Mourinho can see that Oscar's future is in the pivot and turn him into a great deep lying playmaker as a replacement for Lamps.
