  1. In that case so am I, Because I will definately go for both.
  2. Well, he's bound to say that though isn't he ? Many sources are saying that Scolari was a done deal in January, and after the way Scolari fucked the FA around, Roman isn't stupid and was maybe sounding out managers incase of a no show by Scolari.
  3. Totally unprofessional by CTV, But these things do happen I suppose. I am not thrilled about this signing really. He's 31 this year and I feel we should be building for the future. Ok he was a great player five years ago, but if Frank stays, who is Deco going to keep out of the side ? Sure I think he will get maybe 10 goals in a season, and can when in the mood be a fantastic playmaker, but he is injury prone and I think that he has come for a stroll before retiring.
  4. If Frank wants to go, the only sensible thing to do would be to let him. I see absolutely no point in hanging onto a player that wants to go. But in saying that, until I hear Lampard saying he wants to go, or I read it on Chelsea's website, I personally don't believe he does want to go.
  5. Remember guy's its all just rumours at the moment, so lets not judge the guy until an official announcements been made.
  6. I have to say that won't be a great loss to the Germans, and thats coming from a Ballack fan. The last few games of the season for us he was outstanding imo, but i Euro 08 he hasn't done an awful lot to be honest. Before anyone starts flaming me, yes I know that free kick was a bit special. But thats all he has done.
  7. A bit tounge in cheek this one but.... We all follow Scolari Over land and Sea (hate Avram) We all follow Scolari onto victory. or We all follow Scolari Over land and Sea (and Clarkey) We all follow Scolari onto victory.
  8. The thing is BL, I think that it could, regardless of where Uncle Fester is, he like everyone else at Chelsea, has to do exactly what he is told. So I think a phone call from Buck or Roman himself whilst holidaying, isn't out of the question. But I hope I am completely wide of tha mark. and this story is bollocks.
  9. Cor that was a lucky goal eh ? Not sure we need yet another midfielder, although I suppose it depends on whose coming and going.
  10. During that week, I am sure we will see a fair bit of activity in the transfer market. Scolari will have watched us closely as he apparently new well in advance that he would be with us. So he will know who he wants to keep and who he doesn't.
  11. Under Jose and hopefully four/five years under Big Fil Steve Clarke could be the right man, he is Chelsea through and through and knows this club better than anyone. You don't have to have a big name in European football to be a winner.
  12. Schweinsteiger isn't that German for Pig fucker or something? I think that Ballack would have made a noise about him, if he thought he could fit in with our style of play. But all this speculation isn't worth talking about until we get an idea of how Scolari sees the team playing. I think he looks good. But how does he play on a week to week basis?
  13. I couldn't agree more Esk, Torres was one of the skinniest players in Europe and I for one said he'd never make it over here. But how wrong I was eh? You cannot in this day and age look at players and think too skinny or whatever. Bentley instead of any of those players being linked to us, You gotta be joking!!!!
  14. Not a lot will top that mate. Thats quality.
  15. Cheers mate, its nice to be back chatting Chelsea with people who care, rather than the mrs who couldn't give a shit about football, let alone Chelsea. She is a northerner though :censored:
  16. Its me BL, I have returned and have bored everyone away. I agree though, it is a bit quiet everywhere at the moment.
  17. I have said it before, and I'll say it again, Lampard is the engine of Chelsea FC. Ofcourse I agree that no player can't be replaced, but at the moment we would be mad to let him go. This team was built around Frank and when he doesn't play, we miss him badly. I am not being all sentimental, but the time will come when Frank is either going to retire or move on, I am sure we will cope without him no problems in the future, but I feel that time is not yet.
  18. I don't know if your meaning was lost in translation diskoviolente, but Maka is much more than a reasonable player. He was for a long time the best in the world in his position. But now John Obi or Essien can play there and they have had a good teacher. Although personally, i'd have liked to see Diarra stay and make that position his own.
  19. Well if he does go, i'd wish him well. He has been a fantastic player for us. I remember the day it was announced we had signed Maka, I was so excited I nearly pee'd my pants. World class is used far too often, but in Maka's case, it fits like a glove.
  20. R.I.P. Anissa. Another little angel in heaven.
  21. 11m is nothing these days, I definately think its worth a punt. Sidwell goes for £5m which means in effect we have only stumped up 6m for a fella already highly rated and has still to reach his best. Go for it I say.
  22. Another class statement from a man that will forever live in the hearts of Chelsea fans the world over. But we do have to move on. After Jose, Grant was a boil on the arse of Chelsea football club, But its time to herald a new era with big Phil, and I personally think we are in for some exciting times in the coming seasons.
  23. Only you could put it so eloquently Greg. Still choose Chelsea
