  1. Scolari would certainly provide that discipline and guidence. I agree BL would certainly like to see some of that silky skills at The Bridge. Eto I have always liked, but Deco im not sure about.
  2. I'd take the dancing boy for a season or two. He would help us win things. I think that its pretty daft to say that you wouldn't take the player of the year on. I don't like him at all. But I do love Chelsea FC and he would be an asset. But this is all bollocks as firstly he wants to go to Real, and secondly ManUre would never let him come here in a million years.
  3. Give me an in form Drogba and I'd take him everyday over an in form Villa.
  4. I agree BL one minute he pisses me right off, the next he can have me crying with joy. I just wish he would sort himself out and then he would be the complete package. There's other strikers I like, but none that could fill his boots either.
  5. Frank Lampard is worth every penny to Chelsea FC. He pulls in the crowd and his shirt sales alone must be worth an absolute fortune. I have read in countless rags and on lots of websites how we should let him go now and bring Deco in instead. I believe that people who have written this drivel, doesn't watch Frank week in and week out. There were people on this website saying we could do without him during our early poor run, and just look at the change when he came back. Frank is a Blues legend and will be talked about in years to come alongside Ossie and Zola and co. Anyone who can't see that, has no business supporting Chelsea imo.
  6. Well every man and his dog is going to be linked now, but I think Scolari will bring in the right players. I'd rather keep Frank and do without Deco, Kaka is obviously world class and I can't see anyone not wanting him. Goofy, I am undecided about as he has seriously gone off the boil, but by the same token most players go off form at sometime in their career (take a bow Malouda) But to be sure, this is a very exciting time to be a Chelsea fan.
  7. I don't want to appear pedantic, But he actually is from Brazil. Great appointment. Have to say he wasn't my first choice, But after all the uncertainty I'm pleased with Scolari.
  8. My money is on a Hiddink/Clarke management duo. Its amazing though that one of the reasons that Jose was fired was that the club wanted good PR and not have the rest of football laughing at us, err Roman do you not think you and Uncle chief exec Fester are just as guilty??? Football and the press are laughing thier tits off at us now. and FB if you mention the ginger fuckwit and Chelsea in the same post again, I will personally escort you off the board.
  9. Jesus NO !!! Their even linking us to Rafa the Jafa now. I just couldn't face a Scouse reject at my club. I'll tell you now that I will NEVER walk into Stamford Bridge all the time he is in charge, although I don't know why I am writing this as its obviously bollocks. Well it better be. :ballack:
  10. I think Lamps will end his career with us, and great news about Essien, but I can see Jose taking Riccy. I think Ashley Cole rumour is bollocks although I fully understand why he would want him. Tbh I am fed up with Drogba and his whingeing, I worship him and his strength and skill, but he is making us look really bad by saying he wants to go, then he wants to stay. Its all getting a bit daft.
  11. You don't use the same sites as me then Paul It is obviously bollocks, Drogs has said some daft things in the past, but I don't believe he would slag the fans like that. Either never said in the first place or taken massively out of context, I would think.
  12. I reckon you could Blue Lion, I'd campaign for you mate.
  13. Cheers mate. Baldrick's about right although in Kenyons case its Bald dick methinks. Roman and Peter brown tounge made this club a laughing stock by sacking Jose. Then they employ a nobody without any coaching badges or clue's about running one of Europes top clubs. Now it looks as if Sparky can't even be bothered to wait for us. Now before anyone gives me pelters, yes I know without Roman we wouldn't be where we are today and all that, and I'm grateful to him. But now we need to build from the beginning starting with a long term manager ala Wenger and Purplenose, and I think given the time and backing Sparky would be a great manager for us. That has nothing to do with him playing for us, I just think in time we could seriously regret not taking this opportunty to take him on. If he kept Clarkey with him, who knows the team inside out, I seriously think that it would be a winning appointment.
  14. Things are getting a lot better thanks mate. You might have to put up with me a on here a bit more now though. I tell you what though mate, this manager lark is doing my nut right in.
  15. Ey oop our FB, there's nowt wrong with Warnock, He could clean t boots and wash t bus.
  16. Top post FB (how are ya btw?) I couldn't agree more mate. Continuity is the key word in my opinion, I'd gladly sacrifice next season to let Sparky build his team for the future, Not sure Roman feels the same way lol. As I said in my OP Hughs will get the respect from the dressing room and I think like others How can you ever be ready for the likes of Chelsea without being given the oppurtunity(sp?) in the first place.
  17. I definately expect an announcement tomorrow, now they have sacked Ten Cate. Its obvious that the incoming man has told them he wants his team in there so its down the road with Henk first, then announce the new boss, I so hope its Sparky. Tough,Respected,Hard working player and I think with a big club, ie us, He will become a manager with the same and more credentials. The only thing that could be a bit iffy, is the Roman interference, I'm not sure Hughes would put up with that.
  18. PPS, Hughes is a lifelong Blues fan. Being a mid table manager at Blackburn is all he'll ever be if he stays there. I feel he could do a good job with us. I'd rather him than SGE or Laudrup anyway.
  19. A letter that had no need to be written. We already KNEW you would feel this way John. God bless ya Mr Chelsea, a true Blue legend.
  20. I am not sure about Laudrup at all. His record isn't that impresive and I don't really know his style of football. Obviously, I'd love Jose back, but don't realistically think that will happen. I think it will be a Rijkaard/ Cate partnership, although I am not convinced that that will work either.
  21. It got to us all. It takes some bottle to come on and apologise in that way. So apology accepted, and remember WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, THROUGH THICK AND THIN.
  22. Right time and right decision. Its no good banging on about Champions League finals and second in the League, Fair point he did, but it was with Jose's team, and with him probably not picking the final team on matchdays. We need to get in the right man that will see us through another four years and I thought that man would be Jose, but now we need to get it sorted once and for all.
  23. I don't agree Blue Lion, I think that as soon as Drogba got the red, Sheva should have been brought on for what would have been his Chelsea swan song. I know Belletti scored a pen, But Sheva could have possibly pulled it out of the bag. But after all is said and done, its not last nights decisions that he should go for, its everything. He was playing Jose's team and a trained monkey could have got us where he got us. I firmly believe it was the boys and Clarkey who so nearly won the league and cup for us, not Grant. Also he has all the personality of a frog having a shit.
