If rumours are true that Benay is going for a Modric deal, think Honda can play that Squad role well. Another option for a free kick taker as well as being a versatile midfeilder that can play multiple of role when needed. Defensive, offensive and a second striker - would be about 8 million as well.

Kalou's development for me has reached the point where it isn't likely to exceed, and even though he does have his talents - they don't shine through enough to sustain a position at the club higher then the role as a bench warmer, which alternatively could be given to someone who has development left to grow in. Kalou might have been a good striker, but we tried to convert him to a winger, which didn't pan out as much as we hoped. I have nothing against him personally, as i firmly believe he is a top bloke, but it is his inconsistentcy that deems him nothing more then a sub.

It's because i see the numbers 21 and 15 everytime i close my eyes. The haunting images of Kalou in a Chelsea shirt, and Malouda's attempts at trickery - it makes my mind dulge into what i call Wenger syndrome! It dumbs me down at random points in the day, mostly late at night

I think he could play the role perfectly as the 'squad member' like Park does at Man United, but with his own talent. And he would be cheap as well

I would expect Kakuta and Romeu back as options after u20 compeition has been done with. Would love to see Gael on the left or even on the right with Yossi on the wing. Anything is better because of Kalouda's awful terrence over our attack. Torres HAS to start before Drogba after the Stoke performance!

Brillaint stuff Alex as always Torres for Man of the Match for me though, was always the spark in attack when he had the oppertunity, and even come deep in order to thelp the non-existent midfeild. Definitely looks like this season can go far if we can buy a service maker.

I would like to see the likes of Lalkovic and Kakuta being tested on the wings this season. I rate Lal so much, and would love to see him get on the team sheet shortly. Maybe see Malouda, Anelka and Kalou and buy someone like Hazard and Mata with Sturridge on the right and Kakuta and Lalkovic on a rotation after a certain amount of games?

If we did sign him, he would be Hazard-ous to out oppositions:D Pun intended
