  1. I'm going to Kenya tomorrow for the next 4 weeks and I can't wait. I'll be in Nairobi Thursday evening and I would just like to wish everyone on this forum a pleasant 4 weeks without ''badboy'' on talkchelsea hahaha. The only down side is I'll be in Amsterdam airport Schiphol for a few hours before a grueling 8 hour flight which really annoys me. I seriously don't know how people fly to places like China and India from the UK its like over 14 hours lol and that is just mind boggling. I can barely stand 8 hours mostly because I can't sleep on an aircraft and when you can't sleep you find that all the programs and news on the screen are just constantly repeating lol.
  2. The problems in football are developing the exact same way as the problems in boxing. What happens off the field is constantly out in the open and there is more going on off the field as on it and that is sad. Boxing developed the same problem, the trash talking and endless promoting brought the sport to its knees because people just want to see the best fight each other they don't want to hear that Mayweather and Pacman can't agree to a fight because of promoters and all that malarky.
  3. It was a mild joke... I'm jealous of the fact that some people actually feel that way. I really do want to have that fire in my belly again !
  4. Yeah but you live in Lebanon though.... what else is there to do in Lebanon except for football and staying in a city which sounds like beetroot ?
  5. I'm glad that we have people on this forum who understand and some of us are actually in the same boat. I'm 25 now and it's just evaporating now the CL final gave me some of the umphh for it again but now its not even there.
  6. I used to feel absolutely devastated when we lost a game but now its like '' oh well better luck next time''. If Real Madrid are playing Barca i used to watch it with excitement now its like ''well I have much better things to do''
  7. I have fallen out of love for football and I just don't know what it is. I don't get as excited anymore and I can miss a Chelsea game and not even have the urge to follow it up and watch it. The thing is its not falling out of love for Chelsea its football in general, I don't even get excited when Holland player either and it's a little annoying but its reality. Does anyone else fell this way ????
  8. No I think he's a brilliantly balanced player but my point is he's not at his destination yet hence why I think building the team around him now would be a huge mistake. He's a good dribbler but not to the extent were he can do it on a consistent basis not yet anyway. He's only 21 and he has fantastic raw material's but he needs to develop and we can't build the team around him now maybe in future though.
  9. Hazard at the moment doesn't have anything that special in his locker that would suggest that building a team around him would be of any benefit. Hazard is good at most things in terms of his attacking play but there is nothing there that is out and out special. When we seen Robben break through at Groningen you could see that his ability to dribble and breeze past players was going to be the spring board for him to be a world class player in future. To build a team around one player like Riquelme he has to provide something outstanding for you to do that and Roman did that with his vision.@Blionheart what skill does Hazard provide that he is the top 3 in the world at doing ? He'll probably develop something but he sure doesn't have it now ! By the way at the moment Oscar is the first name on the team sheet period.
  10. I have always said that Drogba had more of an impact on the team in his first 2 seasons. He opened so much space with his back to goal for the likes of Robben, Duff and Lampard to almost casually walk into and score. He sacrificed himself for the team and it worked brilliantly, when he played more for himself in the 3rd season he got an avalanche of goals but we won nothing which says a lot. Chelsea fans that say he was poor in his first 2 seasons were probably not Chelsea fans back then because if they were they would of noticed that his battling ram style was integral to our performances and yes that 4-1 at Anfield was probably his best display in a Chelsea shirt.
  11. I agree with that Leif, they both give each other what the other lacks. We looked solid in the middle and it gave the front 4 a chance to play their game and to penetrate, Ramires should never play on the right again his bursting runs are best from deep. This is the end of Frank Lampard in my opinion that is it for him if he finds his way back into the team again then I think an investigation will have to be launched by the supporters hehe.
  12. Drogba would of come in handy in this one . Honestly speaking though I think this is a hard game because they are a lot more established in the type of game we want to play. We have to watch Carzola and Diaby because all it takes is a lung busting run from Diaby and you are on the back foot and Chelsea is a horrible team when they're on the back foot. The good thing is their strikers are not very good but then again neither is Torres in all honesty.
  13. Hulk is 26 years of age Moses is 21 years of age CHILL.
  14. He improves this light weight Chelsea team because he's a very strong player a bit like Valencia, he's the type of player that can tussle with a centre back if he makes a run into the box. I always felt with players like Wright Phillips and Robben that if a player like Rio got in contact with them then Rio would just shove them to one side but not with Moses he'll have it with Rio. My friend (wigan fan) was telling me that he's similar to Valencia in that he has a brilliant cross and powerful surging runs he said that for a 21 year old we've got a real player who can hurt teams away from home were there is space on the counter attack and he's very unselfish.
  15. You're a footballing nation with a population of 60 million plus and you've still only won the same amount of international tournaments as us. What are you talking about barring we got to the world cup final only 2 years ago and we should of won it. The only world cup final you've been too is one in 1966 were you completely robbed the Germans and you've been getting your behind kicked by the German's ever since cause your shit.
  16. I'm over the moon I fucking hate England. There is no national team on this earth as annoying as the English national team !
  17. I always see him running with his head down but I have to admit he can get past any player in the world with his acceleration.
  18. Do you think he's better then Lucas Moura based on what you have seen in Brazilian league football ???
  19. Why do most women dislike beards ? They are like ''Oh no cut it off'' ''you need to be clean shaven''.
  20. His beard is world class..... nearly as good as the Xabi Alonso beard !
  21. He's getting game time in the Premierleague which is a fantastic for someone his age in a difficult position.
  22. These are the type of games you can look at later in the year if we win the league and say thank god we won against Stoke !
  23. I think it probably was a coincidence that he closed his account without knowing about the racial abuse but he definitely closed his account after the game because he knew he was going to get abuse. The media is trying to frame this as he read the racist tweets then he closed the account. I was told that people were launching racial and homophobic abuse left right and center and it was constant.
