  1. People doing this to make a political statement
  2. What im saying is if all them players are having their worst seasons how come were still top of the league.
  3. Andy gray is too young apparently !
  4. Yeah lets by fucking Fabiano who is just as old as anleka yeah lets do that :goodpost:
  5. The only thing is i don't like anelka playing out wide. I think we should play a flat 4-4-2 at home with malouda and joe cole on the wings and anelka and droggers up front.
  6. Yeah thats why were top of the league !
  7. In footballing years he was very young he started playing professionally at the age of 21 were people like sheva played at 17.
  8. cech bos terry captain carvalho a.cole lampard essien maka robben drogba zola 4-3-3
  9. Blueman its all about investments, we should in vest in player who can still improve. I don't like us buying finished articles its not good. I also understand you can not have a team full of young players (like arsenal) its not good. So buying a few expierenced players is ok but lets not go over board.
  10. No man utd won nothing in the 4 years ronaldo was developing except the fa cup.
  11. Yes i agree i think drogba and anelka have enough time in the game to see if sturridge, di santo (who i have lost faith in him in a way) and borini (who i think is quality) can make the grade.
  12. Cristiano ronaldo was poor for his first 4 years at united, he done more step overs then passes in his first 4 years. United kept playing him week in week out, his 5th season he took the premiership by storm and in reality was the most important player in a team that won 3 premiership titles and a european cup. If a young player has pure ability (like aguero) and is struggling in his first few years you should not give up on him. I would rather us bring borini through then sign aguero to be honest though.
  13. They are very different aguero is a second forward, david villa is a pure striker. 30 million for villa is too much he is worth 15 million in my opinion. Plus he is used to being a big fish in a small pond like swp was when we signed him.
  14. Who is the player that you most enjoyed watching from the last decade. Thierry henry is mine he was something else !
  15. Blueman its all about investments. In my opinion even a 27 year old is too old, think about it by the time that 27 year old has played 152 premiership games he is 31 years of age. He might need 38 premiership games to get used to people slamming into him at high speed. So that 27 year old will give us 114 games of good quality football (if he can make the grade). Thats just not enough because after 31 they start to decline, for the exception of players like drogba who started his footballing career late. Gael kakuta is a highly skilled young footballer, even at this early stage of his career he uses his brain to play the game. Now the problem with many young footballers is they try to rush everything and are not used to using their brains to play the game. Young players that use their brains to play the game are rare, because this is something players gain through age so to find someone who is 18-19-20-21 with a football brain is like finding gold. So we should invest money in players who are from the ages 18 to 24 with an advanced footballing brain. Players that are 27 28 29 can be signed no probs but not for crazy money, crazy money like 30 million should be spent on a aguero instead of a villa.
  16. Sturridge kind of reminds me of defoe i don't why ?
  17. RIGHT Who the heck gave it to ballack ?
  18. Yes he is fucking turd crap shit bollocks, he is the worst forward at the club. I would rather have heskey then kalou he is just rubbish !
  19. Ivanovic confesses Real dream Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic may have ended talk of a new contract at Stamford Bridge by admitting it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid. The 25-year-old, a £9.7million signing from Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2007, appears to have finally settled with the Blues and has been a regular in the plans of Carlo Ancelotti. Ivanovic, who has taken advantage of Jose Bosingwa's injuries, is reported to have caught the eye of Real and Chelsea are said to be prepared to offer a new four-year deal to block the Spaniards. But the Serbia international has hinted that he could be interested in a move to the Bernabeu, where the hunt is on for a replacement for Pepe after he was ruled out for the season with a knee problem. Ivanovic said in the Daily Mail: "If it is true that Real Madrid are interested in me it would be an honour because the club is a dream for every player." Skysports
