We have a midfield quartet that can cope NO PROBS without essien, mikel lampard obi and malouda passed the ball really well today and made fulham chase it. Liverpool were doing the wrong way they were dropping torres and playing ngog lol and dropping gerrard and playing lucas hahahaha.

Our midfielders mikel ballack and lampard are passing the ball really well. Mikel is passing it long range which looks really good and anelka and malouda are working really hard. Drogba is having brede hanga whatever on toast.

I agree 100% i think we will still win, essien and ballacks long range passing has been a joy to watch. I think kalou needs to come off though sturridge or anelka for the second half. Sturridge is faster and a better finisher than kalou at 19 so bring him or last seasons top scorer on.

The jury is still out for me regarding the diamond formation. Yes we did create lots of chances, but at the same time i think we look congested in the middle and zhirkov is more of a wide player. I dont think the left of a diamond will suit him from what i have seen he likes to run at players like robben and overmars it would be weird for him to play in a midfield.
