Newcastle are a broken team and McLaren is a broken man but that matters little to me. Their motivation is under the ground but it only takes our bus to pull up outside SJP to get them fired up.
-
Think Remy will get the nod ahead of him for Saturday as Pedro will come back in on the right side.
-
More worried about this than against Arsenal last week. Fucking hate this fixture
-
Stoke away next
-
Really pleased with that despite who the opposition was. This game was about getting it done and momentum. Big pat on the back for the lads.
-
Another stormer for Brana Guaranteed to be picked for the weekend though.
-
Get in.
-
Great option, but I'm hoping Spurs v Arsenal is a complete and utter kicking shit out of each other fest.
-
Oh yeah, the old "Goal" as opposed to the 100 decibel "GOAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
-
I will watch the two lumps of shite play at WHL tonight and flick between that and Soccer Special. No doubt some fucking dickhead like Charlie Nicholas will be doing our game, so I will await his daft Scottish voice to shout "GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
-
It really fucks me off when they broadcast matches that we see every year like Spurs v Arsenal over a potential giant killing/David v Goliath tie. I say this regardless of it being Chelsea or anyone, we do not see enough of the sort of ties we play tonight.

1 minute between each story, shame our transfer activity isn't as quick

I have said before and I will say it again. Strikers are judged on goals, if they aren't scoring they get pelters, and I for one think Costa needs to take a long hard look at himself, both in his behavior, and how he has started this season. It's been a very timid start for Diego but I would also like to point out what I said the other day. Diego Costa does a lot of dirty work for this team, he runs, pressures, and gives everything both on and off the ball every game he plays. Whilst that may not be the be all and end all for some people it stands with me in high regard because the least I expect anyone who wears a CFC shirt, is effort. Now banned for 3 games. Lets really see if Falcao or Remy can step up and not just score goals but fill a void that does a lot of donkey work for the team. People may say "It's not Falcao or Remy's game to do that" it's a job every striker should be doing, running the channels, doing what Costa did against Arsenal by pulling the two centre backs across the field and being a constant thorn in their side. People are saying "He won't be missed" From a goal point of view that is correct, from a pure work rate and team player he will be, and I honestly believe that. Let's see starting tonight and for the next three games exactly how this pans out, the pressure is on our other two strikers now, these guys have big responsibilty to fill the void of Costa and start firing us back up the table and kick us on in the CoC.

This lad is a quality player.
-
Time for one of Remy or Falcao to really step it up now.
-
More time in the kitchen to fucking cook. *waits for the PC brigade to come running who don't allow a laugh*
-
The fat of the post was about officiating and consistency. I also never said I was against the ban.
-
So why not quote that original post?
-
Too busy reading from a manual that's why. "Here lads go and officiate that game will you, if you do a shit job we will step in and do it for you"
-
Did I say the ban wasn't fair?

Point1- Diego Costa lashes out at LK that does not get seen by any official what so ever, days later he is banned for 3 games. Point2- Gabriel is yellow carded for an incident with Costa where he is warned and told to walk away. Gabriel walks away but in the mean time kicks Costa, to which Mike Dean misses the incident but immediately asks the official on his ear-piece what went on, the official says he kicked out and he's then sent off. Point3- So between point 1 and point 2 Mike Dean has not seen any of these, he has to consult his official for clarification on one, the one that was flagged up was seen as clear as day, but the culprit is cleared. Now I am not for one minute saying Costa is not guilty, the rules state you cannot raise your hands, and on video review he has been found guilty. What we are looking for here is total consistency and a level playing field from both official in game, and the FA. What the fucking hell is the point of a linesman/fourth official if something is seen as plain as day and the culprit gets away with it? In all this, Mike Dean is as guilty as fucking day for not doing his job and the FA have had do it for him, that for me points the finger directly at him and he should as well be punished massively.
-
Football has gone fucking daft, has been for years. It's a game I used to love, and quite slowly I am falling out of love with.
-
You kick a player and get sent off and it's get rescinded..... So what action does Mike Dean get? Because all this action by the FA suggests he hasn't done his job correctly.
