  1. Welcome to TalkChelsea :champions:
  2. I don't think he has any intention of leaving us as I believes he loves being at Chelsea and makes such an impact within the squad. As he's probably only a got few years left before he would retire, there is no point in him moving to another club
  3. For me it has been such an amazing season having never supported a football team before, starting with me watching the FA Cup Final last May in a pub and then making the decision ro become a Chelsea supporter. One thing led to another and before I knew it i'd been on a tour of SB and bought myself a membership. As to the games I have to start with with the Community Shield August last year which was my first game for seeing the boys in action, and ending with watching them lift the PL trophy, and the FA Cup, and not forgetting the youth team lifting the FA Youth Cup. So many memories which I will never forget, including our demolition of Stoke, Villa, Sunderland and Wigan all at home. Then of course our victories against Manure, (home, away and at Wembley for the Community Shield), Liverpool (home and away), L'arse (home and away). We've had our diasppointments to, but I think every club has their fair share of diasppointments. Going to Milan was great, OK we didn't get the right result, but it was good to experience a Euro Away Game.
  4. The stadium will always be known as Stamford Bridge by the fans, irrespective of whether the 'powers that be' change the name.
  5. I think it's 156, although I could be wrong. Looking on the official website I think it totals up to 130, of course they haven't updated to 2009/10 yet and then adding up what's on Wikipedia for 2009/10. Yes I think he can get to 200, if we have another couple of record breaking seasons like 2009/2010 who knows what will happen, just hope he doesn't get any injuries
  6. More pictures of the parade from Chelseafc.com www.chelseafc.com/page/Flickr_Galleries/0,,10268~2054331,00.html
  7. Such a shame for Ballack, Boateng should have been given a red card.
  8. brilliant. Just shows why wer're the Champions.
  9. Welcome to TalkChelsea :champions:
  10. Back from the Parade and had a brilliant time, amongst other things I bumped into someone that I was at school with which was good. I took a few pictures which i'll upload in the gallery later once I can access them on my email.
  11. Got my new home shirt today with the gold on the sleeves for the PL
  12. I also like the addition of Home of the Champions :champions:
  13. Finally got back from the Bridge and what a day. Very nervous first half, had me on the edge of my seat with the amount of shots that nearly went in. Great save by Cech, who I thought put in another fine performance. I can see now why he got the Golden Glove, fully deserved imo. Have to feel for Lamps for not scoring the penalty. Well done to Drogs for the goal. Looking forward to tomorrow for a well deserved parade. :blue scalf: :champions:

  15. Despite the fact that I will not be at Wembley tomorrow i'm still looking forward to going to the Bridge to watch the beam-back. I think the expectation for us to win the match will be huge after our demolition of Wigan and don't think we will give up easily. All eyes will be on Pompey to cause an upset tomorrow. Up to the lads to complete the double and make history for our club.
  16. Thanks Steve for your help. I just saw it on Youtube as I know some other people had mentioned this guy, but couldn't post it on the forum.
  17. Welcome to TalkChelsea :blue scalf:
  18. I totally agree with you, I just found the whole experience magical. I emailed the club to ask whether there would be a possibility of them releasing the match onto DVD and they said no, but it would be included in the end of Season DVD. Ffs, it's the final game of the season and surely the fact that we demolished Wigan with an 8-0 win is good enough reason to release it onto DVD.
  19. There were 2 madness songs at the end, One Step Beyond and Baggy Trousers, which they played. Think we got through the whole catalogue of Chelsea songs, everyone joining in. Can't think of one we didn't sing.
  20. I hope to be able to make the Parade as it sounds as though it'll be fun and another great way for the fans to show their appreciation and hopefully we'll be celebrating the double. :blue scalf:
  21. Yes it was fantasic and you could feel the energy and passion right throughout the whole 90 minutes. I'm praying to God that the club will bring the match out on to DVD as it would be a lasting and permanent reminder for everyone that watched the match and which future generations will look at with awe.
  22. I'm not too keen on Champagne, but I did have a glass of Cider or 2 which suited me fine.
  23. So I guess that's the best place to be is it?
