Would be disappointed if he didn't sign a new contract, he is a popular player and we need him to stay, a quality defender.

Voted 5* for us. Tbh, I recognize only a few of the other sites, most of them I've not come across before

Thanks guys.

I did think that, he might have been drunk of course. Haven't been labelled a glory hunter yet. I suppose because i'm older, people just assume that i've been supporting Chelsea since I was a kid.
-
I am a case in point, only been a supporter since the start of the 09/10 season. I've understood the conept from the start of what Glory Hunters are and I admit I was worried about being labled one. I could have fucked of during our recent bad run of games to support any of our main rivals, but I didn't because I knew that it was important to support the team through the bad times as well as the good times. It's interesting as there is this guy I sit next door to in the MH Lower, he's a ST holder, not sure how long he's been coming to games, but I can guess that it's lot lot longer than I have. He told me straight up during the Villa game that he would be giving up his Season Ticket next season because he didn't want to keep watching this shite (his words) or similar words to that effect and that any of my friends could have his seat as it will be vacant next season. I was astounded as I've often seen most weeks his obvious passion for Chelsea.

Thanks Alex, yes I did enjoy myself yesterday.

I think the last 2 matches there has been an improvement, but somehow we still haven't got the magic spark that we had during the last season and the beginning of this season. We need to keep the momentum going and can't afford anymore poor results, particularly if we want to stay in the top 4. Interesting to see what happens in the FA Cup and the CL as well.

Thanks lads :-)

Hello Everyone I’m back, hopefully to stay longer this time. Thanks for the prompts Steve and Alex (Blue Lion). I’ve had lots of things going on which have taken up a lot of time since I was last on here, mostly to do with family and work. I’m still active going to games, both home and away in the UK. It can be tiring, but it’s always enjoyable. Hope everyone’s OK? I can’t promise to be on here all the time, but will try and make time, most probably either early mornings before work or in the evenings when I come home from work. KTBFFH!! Raymond

Back from the match, a fantastic win, job well done. Absolute stunner of a goal from 'Alex'. Had one big goal celebration, everyone just went mental. The guy in front of me got up on his seat and started pulling me about, i was holding on to him, while celbrating. Good to see the Drogs keeping up his record for scoring against Arsenal. Loved the chant towards the end to the Arse Fans (to the tune of Can't Take My Eyes of You) - Your Seasons Over, La la la la la la, Your Seasons Over, la la la la la la. Good to have One Step Beyond at the end, a chance to go crazy.

Best Moment - I had such an amazing time in my first season as a Chelsea Supporter, I guess the best moment for me was witnessing us win the double. Worst Moment - Not many worst moments, but I guess losing to Inter Milan in the CL and being aware of what happened in Moscow previously in the same competition. Funniest Moment Not sure if this counts. The whole coach singing and doin' the bouncy on the way back from Bolton last year. Best Manager Ancelotti Worst Manager n/a Favourite Player Frank Lampard Least favourite Player That's a difficult one, I won't say Kalou as he's probably a top contender for many, I actually do like him. I'll say Ross Turnbull Favourite goal - too many..., but i'll say Joe Coles against Man U away Best game attended - Any of the away Matches - particularly Man U, Arsenal Worst game attended - I guess Man City at home last season followed by Spurs away. Favourite chant/song - Blue Day What does being a Chelsea fan mean to you? As i've said already, last year was such an amazing season for me having never attended a football match previously. Being a Chelsea Fan has meant a lot to me over the last year, so much so that I am now a Season Ticket holder and am on the UK Away Scheme. I guess being part of the Chelsea family, the friendships that i've made. I wish I had more time to be able to post more on here and actually show that I know what i'm talking about!

Agree that this will be our biggest test so far. Just hope that we don't have any further injuries.
-
Looking forward to our first encounter with the 'Seasiders'. Think they will try and make it difficult for us. Perhaps with the absence of Frank, Ramires will start.
-
If it is a broken back, I think that could possibly mean he'll be paralysed. A nasty injury. Hope he's OK.
-
Love Sturridge's celebration. Only just able to get online to watch the match, looking forward to seeing it all in full at some point. Sounds like i've missed a really cracking first half.
-
Very pleased with the result, shame that we conceded, but we got the 3 points which is what matters. Had a really good seat, 2 rows from the front and just to the left from the goal. Thought the atmosphere was generally good. Been trying to rack my brains about the chant involving the shoes which I thought was absolute quality. Most people were waving shoes in the air, bizarre
-
Can't wait for this game as I didn't make it last year due to the snow. Hopefully with the international break we will be refreshed and focussed. It will be good if Ramires gets to start.
-
Have faith that still might happen. Preston was in the FA Cup, so we still may have a chance to visit a lower league ground for that, It depends on which lower league teams get through.
-
I'm with you, I wholeheartedly agree with you, support the whole team, do not slate or boo them, get behind them. As for the name, I know let's call it CHELSEA
-
Felt gutted for Frank when he missed the penalty, so sure that it would go in, on the edge of my seat. Hope he and John will be OK and that their injuries aren't too serious. Don't like the International Breaks as I think they're pointless and increase the chances of injuries, much rather have our players out there training for the club rather than for the country, but I admit in this case it will at least give Frank and John time to rest and hopefully who knows they maybe ready to start against West Ham.
-
Ffs, it's just ugly and takes away the enjoyment of going to the game. I know for the likes of Millwall this is the norm for them. Tbh hope we don't get drawn against them
-
Looks an interesting group, never heard of MŠK Žilina. I would think Marseille could be a tricky game. Just looking forward to evening games at the bridge, good atmosphere. Hope we get ref's that are fair and not short sighted. A lot to ask I know
-
Yes, all seems to be working OK now, thanks for sorting it out
-
Thanks mate.

Not sure about Millwall...I've heard about their fanst taking terraces to pieces! Also don't fancy an atmosphere like them against Wet Spam. I don't mind really, as long as it's somewhere not too far up north.
