  1. OK i'll probably give the Beam Back at SB a try, it sounds as though it could be a good day out and as you all say the next best thing to actually being at Wembley. Do you just turn up and they let you in?
  2. I AM believing it so Stoke, Scum, Wigan and Pompey had better watch out 'cause the Mighty Chels are in town and we are here to win :blue scalf: :champions:
  3. It's just speculation, no one can tell what's going to happen. At the end of the day it'll be up to us to prove Hansen and the biased media wrong by coming out on top at the end of the season.
  4. Really hope that we don't get complacent as Pompey have shown against Spurs what they can do. They pretty much kept the pressure on Spurs throughout the whole game. We really have to be prepared that they will pile on the pressure.
  5. We gotta come out fighting for this one and I agree with Ollie I don't care how we play as long as we get a win. We really can't afford any more slipups. Hopefully we will score frist and that will give us a much needed confidence boost.
  6. Whilst waiting to get my ticket for the Scum match today, I got talking to another member about tickets for the final, and I was saying that it was a shame that we wouldn't get tickets. Well this member recokons that members MIGHT (and I use the word MIGHT cautiously) get a look in for tickets for the final. Apparently the reason why some Season Ticket Holders didn't get tickets last year was because they missed the deadline for buying tickets and from what I understand, members did get a look in last year. Don't want to get your hopes up, but it might be worth looking on the official website on Friday afternoon/Evening to see if any are left. If there were any left, they'll most likely be sold on a loyalty points system.
  7. It's away on the 22nd April, kick off at 8.05. Can't see it happening unless all the scum fans are already out there stranded what with what's happening with the planes
  8. Yes and we cannot afford to mess it up. I think the whole idea that we could win the double has got to their heads. Forget about the FA Cup for now, just concentrate on the last few PL games. I think the last 2 (i.e. pool and Wigan) could be tricky, but as I've come to see over the season, anything can happen.
  9. It says on the official website that he'll miss one game.
  10. Welcome to Talk Chelsea :blue scalf:
  11. How many games will he miss now, is it one or two?
  12. I'm back from my first visit to 3 point lane, and what a shocking performance by us. I thought we looked weakest at the front, Drogba was terrible today. I thought on the plus side that Cech had another good game. Atmosphere was pretty good in the first half, then kind of went to nothing during the second half. I know we're still top of the league just, but I most certainly didn't feel as though I was having a laugh after that performance. I don't think you can blame Carlo, as it's up to the players do what's expected. Come on lads you need to step it up a gear if you are serious about winning the double.
  13. Well I can't drive although I agree it is awkward to get to the Bridge that early in the morning, but I did it for Manu, amd i'm prepared to do it again for scum. Also i've payed my money now.
  14. It's not too bad, as I said before they generally play a Chelsea DVD, on the way up and have a quiz to pass the time. Wish we could get some singing going on the way up, that would be great, not sure whether the regulars would mind? Best one was on the way back from Bolton, and the coach just erupted and we had good solid singing for at least 20 minutes, you should have seen the look on the stewards faces.
  15. Thanks. I think i'll probably go to WHl. Not worried about queues after the game, it can't be as bad as after going to the Emirates, that was quite a long queue if I remember for the tube
  16. Got my place booked for the coach and am on coach 1, now all I need to do is to get my match ticket on Monday.
  17. Rather than start a new topic in the Match Tickets and travel section i'll ask here about travel to tomorrows game. I'm thinking about going to Liverpool Street and going from there to White Hart Lane. Is that the best way or is there a better route?
  18. Thanks guys, i'll bear this in mind.
  19. I have to say it didn't come as a surprise to me to be paying top prices for tickets. I'm hoping to get a Season Ticket if I can for next season, and that way the cost per match should work out cheaper, I hope. I do agree that the individual ticket prices are expensive when you add on the extras. I guess if we were in a spanking new stadium we would definitely be paying higher prices to pay for it.

  21. So it's as I expected, I will be in a pub somewhere watching the match as I most definitely will not get a ticket.
  22. Yeah we have to treat the last remaining games as though each one is a cup final. Heard one of the lads on the podcast saying that he wouldn't mind a draw, don't really think we can afford that, really need a win, especially after reading about our record at 3 point lane. Come on lads, don't mess this up :blue scalf:
