  1. I'd like a home game to start with against one of new boys in the PL, so Blackpool, Newcastle or West Brom and end the season against one of them at SB.
  2. I read it on Metro.co.uk. There's also been reports that has quoted Harry Redknap saying that he believe that he's signed another contract with another club. Just got to wait for an official announcement from Joe or the club.
  3. Couldn't quite believe it when I read this. It's a sad day for Chelsea if it's true
  4. I like the new look and it's obvious to me that Jim has spent a lot of time to improve the look. Good job.
  5. Really shocked by the shootings in Whitehaven. To those that died, R.I.P.
  6. Ordered the Season Review from Play.com, far cheaper than the Chelsea megastore.
  7. This whole will he sign a new contract. won't he sign a new contract seems to be going on forever. When realistically does a decision have to be made about his future?
  8. Will these games all be away or will any of them be played at the Bridge?
  9. I've bought a couple of DVDs/CDs from Play.Com and I haven't had any problems so far, they always seem efficient and I've had the stuff come through really quickly.
  10. Yes they're a good crowd round there, really good atmosphere., lots of singing and I found they're so welcoming.
  11. I don't believe a word of this, this is the Daily Mail after all.
  12. Yes the lady at the box office asked me the gate number and seat i'd like. Just over the moon. That's good news about your seat, I didn't think they would chasnge seats like that? I thought they would only change seats in exceptional circumstances?
  13. Just read on the official site that both DVD's are available now. REMEMBER THE SEASON WITH TWO NEW DVDS Fans can relive the fantastic season with a new DVD and remind themselves of how we achieved the Double. You can now buy The Double: 2009/10 End of Season Review DVD and the 2010 FA Cup Winners DVD from the Stadium Megastore and Online Megastore. The record-breaking season is all captured in the season review, including wins over Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, as the Blues netted 103 goals in the League campaign. There are also highlights from the FA Youth Cup, as the Academy side won the trophy for the first time since 1961. Then, the 2010 FA Cup Winners DVD allows you to watch the complete final, as we beat Portsmouth 1-0 to seal an historic Double after hitting the woodwork five times in a Chelsea-controlled first half. You can relive Petr Cech's phenomenal save to deny Kevin-Prince Boateng a goal from the penalty spot before Didier Drogba drilled a brilliant freekick in off the post. Both DVDs are now available from the Stadium Megastore and Online Megastore. The End of Season Review costs £19.99 while the 2010 FA Cup Winners is priced at £17.99. source Chelseafc.com
  14. Well I got to the Bridge at 6.20 am yesterday and waited for the box office to open at 9. I think I may have got myself a Season Ticket, well the lady at the box office said she'd sold me the seat I'd requested in Matthew Harding Lower. Won't believe it till I actually receive it through the post. I'm so chuffed.
  15. Thanks, i'm just aiming to get to SB as early as possible tomorrow just in case there is a queue. The guy I spoke to on the phone who dealt with memberships said I shouldn't have a problem. I just got to wait and see.
  16. I've seen the website, only problem I am at work at the moment, and don't finish till 5. I'm aiming to head to the box office tomorrow morning at 6 and wait for it to open at 9am. I spoke to someone at the club and they said I should still stand a chance. Don't know what to do wish I had taken the afternoon off.
  17. Interested in going to a couple of these. Regarding tickets, will they be available from the box office as I couldn't see anything on the official site?
  18. After the year i've had I can't wait to get my hands on the Season Review. As BL says it'll be a lovely momento of a glorious season when Chelsea did the Double.
  19. Welcome to TalkChelsea :champions:
  20. I don't think he has any intention of leaving us as I believes he loves being at Chelsea and makes such an impact within the squad. As he's probably only a got few years left before he would retire, there is no point in him moving to another club
  21. For me it has been such an amazing season having never supported a football team before, starting with me watching the FA Cup Final last May in a pub and then making the decision ro become a Chelsea supporter. One thing led to another and before I knew it i'd been on a tour of SB and bought myself a membership. As to the games I have to start with with the Community Shield August last year which was my first game for seeing the boys in action, and ending with watching them lift the PL trophy, and the FA Cup, and not forgetting the youth team lifting the FA Youth Cup. So many memories which I will never forget, including our demolition of Stoke, Villa, Sunderland and Wigan all at home. Then of course our victories against Manure, (home, away and at Wembley for the Community Shield), Liverpool (home and away), L'arse (home and away). We've had our diasppointments to, but I think every club has their fair share of diasppointments. Going to Milan was great, OK we didn't get the right result, but it was good to experience a Euro Away Game.
  22. The stadium will always be known as Stamford Bridge by the fans, irrespective of whether the 'powers that be' change the name.
