ChelsTransfer @ChelsTransfer Barcelona, New York, Munich. This much certain: London would suit Guardiola's family significantly better than Manchester. (@SPORT1) #CFC ChelsTransfer @ChelsTransfer Pep Guardiola's wife would rather prefer Chelsea to Manchester City (via @lequipe) #CFC #MCFC Sky Sports Germany reporter Oliver Sequenz says the lure of the London lifestyle could be a factor in Guardiola's thinking. #CFC #MCFC (Sky) ChelsTransfer @ChelsTransfer Sequenz: "When Pep did a sabbatical, he lived in New York, he likes this lifestyle: the pulse of the city, that could be a point for London"

As Pep likes inteligent and technical players IF he's going here I think we should make a following changes : GK : Thibaut is all right but if he wants better ball playing gk then it looks like Ter Stegen is available DF : Christensen is a must-have as he's very good ball playing DF. New CB to partner him. New RB as I think he won't fancy Azpilicueta technical skills. MF : New CM. Musonda would play big role under Pep I think as he's tactically and technically excellent with crazy ball skills and ball retention. Wonder what will happen with Fabregas. AM : only like for like replacement for Oscar if he won't perform in the next 6 months. Like him or not, he's one of the most intelligent players in our squad off the ball so if he will perform he would stay under Guardiola CF : definitely new striker needed. Benzema could be available as Real will chase Lewandowski. Benz is one of the most technical strikers around. All in all I think about 4-5 players plus two youngsters in Christensen and Musonda. 10 players is definitely overboard. Actually if you think about it even Man City needs 4-5 players for the first XI to appease Pep.

http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/public/football/article4647161.ece So Guus spend 2 days with U21. If he's going to give some youngsters a chance, I hope he focus on 1-2 players instead of giving everyone a match.
-
1) Rotates more. 2) Gives youth a chance. 3) Is more proactive in big games. His defending is much more intense. Plus he has a right to play underdog card being in Atletico - who knows how would that be in Chelsea ?
-
You're right. Best to wait for Watford who are on fire. I just think we played really well, moved the ball faster (A LOT), playing great 1-2s, movement and finding space was of improvement.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-interim-manager-guus-hiddink-7043226 Would be great if Guus get more holistic job than just a first team coach Apparently he has to assess the squad and draw a blueprint moving forward. He is becoming a senior advisor of the club, something that he supposedly was offered after his first stint in 2009 but seemingly nothing came off with this.

No, sorry for confusion. I mean they started with 5 at the back, they could easily prevent us from scoring for 60 minutes then score lucky rebound from corner. Even this Sunderland side has some good players who could be literally welcomed to have some memorable moment of their career if our frustration would grow and their confidence increased.
-
You see it that way ? And I remember last year we were the best run club, winning the league and making profit. With money there are enormous expectations. City imploded once already in 12-13 season. They scrapped win against Swansea last week. Can concede 4 against Tottenham and Liverpool, lose against West Ham and against in crysis Juventus at home. It's really not that rosy. And they still didn't figure out how to deal with those injuries.

Yes, Pep would be sacked by Barca if he was in that position. Though it's hard in Spain. Really, only what Jose would have to do is to be in top 8. TOP 8, that's all what was required. I don't like the idea that manager has to spend 50m+ to get out of the bottom half of the table. Chequebook manager to the fullest. When players like Azpilicueta, JT, Ivanovic, his hardest, most loyal warriors are playing worse there's definitely wrong job by the manager. No two ways about it. Roman is such a mellow man now. Whenever he is at the game he is enjoying whenever we score like a kid. Now I have an idea that as long as ship will be steady he won't react. No more "2nd in the table is the first loser". I hope that he will bring Didier, JT, Lamps, Zola to work at the club at coaching level. Chelsea are doing great job at youth level and only need the right man to push them forward plus bring the old legends back to keep that identity.
-
Looking forward for him to be the best player in England again. Maybe challenging for TOTY ? He was in the team of the year in the last 6 years.
-
Yes, but they could easily grow in confidence if our approach was different. When they scored we let them space and it was nervous. I can easily see us drawing or even losing against them if we would allow them get into this match properly. We played very good regardless of the opposition IMO and Oscar was big part of that. When he plays invisible man I really don't like him but when he plays like this he is one of the most enjoyable player for me. I'm very curious for his next game.
-
Had like 3 times more touches that in each match in the last months. He was at centre in everything.
-
Jose went 9 years and 150 league games without losing at home and now he lost 4 times in half a season. You really have to be in some decline for that to happen.
-
Well, our former manager said that he hopes he doesn't change his attitude.
-
Haha, WHY people are concerned that he goes to United ? He was 16th in December with the squad of average age of 26,5. And he is getting some benefits from it that we may brace ourself because he will win it all. Again, he left us at 16th. Anyway, I think he will go to Real Madrid.
-
Yeah, Jose just endured the worst season in his career and they already asked Florentino Perez on the radio if Jose is coming back Jose has that magic around him. Even though you consider all things that logically are against him now I'd be tempted to do stand up for the Special One in Stamford Bridge. As for United or other clubs fanbase, better to not get into this and stay this way. Because there is so much emotion for something that will eventually end in tears regardless. Or if you are anti-Mou you will hate him through his spell dearly.
-
“I don’t see Cesc differently, but what I see if that every minute the professionalism is there and he is never afraid to have the ball or to be afraid to make a mistake. I completely trust him.” Apparently he is the one that didn't want to play for Jose Anyway, fuck logic, it's funnier that way (I'm serious) and having knee jerk reactions. It's football culture creating fictional stories and all the drama.
-
Sorry for coming again with the same shit but can't believe how many people didn't pick up how things pan out in the same way with Jose's third season as in Madrid (or in Chelsea even). There's always a rat, players are questioning him, there are people who he can't work with. Same pattern. I just wanted to add (really I'm tired of this !!!) that the story from Telegraph seems plausible. They say that Jose doesn't hold grudges against players but say that they are mentally weak. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY HIS MOTIVATIONAL WORK DOESN'T HAVE AN EFFECT ON THEM. Maybe weak is wrong word, I don't know. But this bunch of players is difficult for Jose's methods. Having thought about it there is less and less character players and more of the weak ones in football. And maybe Jose will have it more difficult to find the right ones in the coming years. Don't blame the players and add stories to that. "Weak" (?) mentally doesn't mean you're a bad player. They need a coach now, who starts teaching them play.

Top 8 - only that was needed to save his job. Roman was so reluctant to fire him, he was enjoying even the small wins like that against Porto that it only needed such thing as an image of relegation to happen. Even with such a shit summer you can't look for excuses not being in the top half with so many good players, internationals, and with average age of the squad of 26,5, so literally perfect. Sometimes I think I would do stand up for The Special One, fuck the players and the owner, Jose IS bigger than a club as he is exception to the rule. But as I said I like logic in everything and that's full logical decision. Doesn't make it any less bitter and emotional. Our Special One is gone I have to say It's stronger than "when will youth get their chance ?" angry mood. :( The script was completely messed up. It was meant to be so different. We were going to lift Champions League trophy with Jose ! Really hope that someday happens. Last thing I have to say. I still love Jose, didn't shred a tear or anything but I was shocked nonetheless. Maybe I will cry a tear later when I forget that we were going 16th in the league in December and go full emotional. I think all the doors are open as surely there will be time that Jose will be unemployed and surely will be time when Chelsea will change their coach. Bridges are not burn. If Jose success or be rejected elsewhere and if he didn't lie about his love to Chelsea, he will want to come back. Jose is emotional guy and Chelsea are big emotion for him.
-
Really, I always try to find logic everywhere and match things. I go through the list of our current players and I can't understand that stories of players revolt. As Gary Neville said, when he was pundit in that time, "You don't care about stories flying around as they're always coming up if results are not good and performances are not good". Really people, if there was at least ONE TIME, ONE TIME that there was no stories in any club when there was no results ? I look at every single player in our squad and I'm left with only Remy, Diego Costa and Fabregas as potential party-poopers. This squad lacks character, forget about them as a team, count them as each individual and there's so difficult to imagine THIS player and THAT player playing poorly on purpose. Fabregas was praised by Mou this season as the one of only few players that is not afraid of responsibility and then the stories about him 'wanting to lose than win' were rubbished. Again, Mourinho praised his attitude this season few times already. He has cuntish character though so he is a suspect. My assessment is simple. We neither have character in this squad nor match-winners bar Hazard. Motivation worn off in each player. It doesn't mean that they were not motivated, no, they weren't super-motivated as Jose requires. That motivation tricks didn't have an effect on them. Even in Real when there was bust-up with few players, they have such an amazing squad that they made it to Cup final and Champions League semi-final. Jose said it several times this season that self-confidence is the most important thing. He said it so many times you couldn't miss it. Jose work is all about motivation and bringing that self-confidence through the roof. And that stopped to work on this particular individuals ( ) It really only is a matter of that players didn't knew how to play, how to create as they couldn't be pushed to the limit. It isn't that they were not trying as we know they did. But they were mentally drained working with Jose and in dire need of a good teacher, who shows them patterns of play and teach them something new. So yeah, Jose isn't suited to these players and players aren't suited to him. I think that only Azpilicueta and Courtois could made Jose dream XI based on physicality, character and abilities. I say this, if Jose could handpick whatever XI he wants, he would be the best in bushiness even if other managers had the same privilege. YES, I absolutely rate him as a manager, motivator, he's fantastic but it's hard to have dream XI ... And guy doesn't want/can't compromise.
-
Sorry mate, didn't want to confuse anyone. There's not direct story to this but it was reported that Oscar had a bust-up with Jose (remember Swansea game ?) so as it is reported that there was a player revolt, seems that Oscar started first and fellow players just followed suit later. Therefore he is leading the revolt. And I think he would much more enjoy a hug than fight. Therefore I call it BS.
-
Wtf ... and few weeks ago someone said that Pat Nevin's opinion is worth thousand of ours as he actually played the game, is a legend and a pundit. And then he says this.
-
What a bullshit stories. As far as I remember, always they were smiling in training, there was good atmosphere, even in the banter-free region it looked like they enjoyed their time. Plus Jose said that on training they are very good, only matches are complete opposite. Unless I have to believe that this guy is at the centre of a revolt Look at him, he needs a hug ! Really can't believe in that. I can when we have players like Drogba, Lampard, Ash but now ? No. What I can believe is that the manager work didn't work on them which we witnessed. Not that they purposely decided to play so slow that we barely had a chance to shoot from good position.

That's why appointing Jose was so odd ! It was basically reverse what was needed. Dry spells under Jose, I tell you how dry spells under Jose looks like, when there's a possibility of dry spell he comes back to basic and plays team for 1:0 win. He did it in 13-14 season, instead of continuing work in progress, after Sunderland game in COC he said that they revert to basic football, playing for 1:0. I think Chelsea were doing correct things, buying players like Hazard, Mata, Oscar, KdB, spending whole summer chasing Modric (remember that ? they rightly thought he is THE MAN for the midfield) plus that long-term Academy plan that they are reaping effects from. Great set up. Then in the summer of 2013 it only needed the right man for the final push. PEP !!! I think they hired Jose more of an impuls after Benitez spell and when Pep was taken by Bayern.
