  1. I really hope Chelsea try one more time for him. Is there any FAST box-to-box midfielders out there ? Some FM legends ? We need someone like him. And if Cesc leaves then we need to replace Cesc as well.
  2. What are you on mate, if Azpilicueta was 5cm taller but played exactly like he is now he'd be praised as a one of the best CBs in Europe. His passing is good, can advance with the ball at ease, he is extremely fast and agile for a CB, probably the best 1on1 defender in the world, aggressive, has leadership and organizing qualities (Moses talked about it) never gives up, hard in the tackle, good anticipation and the best for the last, is concentrated for full 90 minutes and has the least brainfarts I can think of. Pure beast. He is undroppable, he is Hazard of that RCB position, I don't know how in the hell he can be still regarded as some sort of a makeshift option until better times, he has had 5 world class displays so far there, his biggest weakness (height) is well protected there as David Luiz, Cahill and Alonso are usually in the box as well, besides if we let some goal(s) because he was beaten in the air it's the small price to pay for all other qualities he gives.
  3. So Porto already accounted 116m€ from players' sales this season. oO Anyone interested in particular Porto player ? I feel we could do with Brahimi and especially Ruben Neves.
  4. The most cringeworthy thing, people call him overrated or that he never was that good (that's the most stupid thing ever but yeah) yet he is linked with way better club than Chelsea. Go figure.
  5. Buy for 15m€, sell for 25m€. The 10m€ is the difference between buying Stones/Koulibaly and not buying them apparently. Do it. I like him, watched him a lot at Zulte but I don't like when players of less quality/potential than top blocks path for our own youngsters. One of Musonda/Boga has to come back next year and have a pathway in the first team and signings like this just block it.
  6. 100m€ is too much for him. He is goalscorer but he's not creator. For that kind of money goals alone are not enough. And even then his goalscoring record is very good but not brilliant. He is more 1 in 2 striker than 1 in 1. Especially when we're in dire need of some creativity, I'd rather buy 30 year old Payet, I think that's more what our team currently need.
  7. Man, I'm dreaming about that midfield. Veratti apart from being awesome is also wise investment for whatever money as he's just 24. Nainggolan is older, 29 next year but I can imagine him being like-for-like replacement for Matic who is the same age. Conte tries to play Matic in the role where Nainggolan thrives. We need top4 and it's doable. No Champions League, no chance.
  8. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/37398400 Ok guys, why the heck Chelsea bought Schurrle and Willian in 2013 when they already had Mata, Hazard, Oscar and KdB ? One of them ok but two ? Wouldn't it be wiser to spend 30mΒ£ on central-midfielder since we started that season with only Ramires, Lampard, Essien and Mikel ? That's what f*cked KdB here. 6 AMs for 3 spots with reluctance to rotate.
  9. Pro tips from me : - Cesc has to play, - Ivanovic/Cahill must not (I know both should not play but one fraud at the time), - out of "balance players" (a way to describe crippled offensive impotents) : Matic, Oscar, Willian only one can play, - try to realize that 75th minute is just 15 minutes away from the end of the match
  10. Team struggles for passing, Kante has to step up and try to be a playmaker and you have one of the best passers in the game on the bench. And you give him 8 minutes. This L ENTIRELY on our manager unfortunately. Keeps subbing the same players every game (thank goodness the right players) but doesn't want to drop them. What is that ?
  11. Kante tries to be playmaker in our team. Tells you how bad other midfielders are.
  12. Feel like a Champions League night this. I'm confident, we were minutes away from winning against them in May in our dire state and also the last games against them are positive (bar last season home game but you know what happened).
  13. What the hell, I want to make a broad point you want to pick up single matches. Last season is disgrace for all Chelsea Football Club, for all players. Willian was our Player of The Year. It never gets worse than that. What you said is disgrace anyway. How fickle you have to be to jump on a guy, not a club in a season which every player was piss poor and think that at the age of 25 he won't recover. Sissoko from Championship is worth 30m. You have to either be braindead or have some agenda to jump on single player and not 20 players.
  14. I only picked the Tottenham game because I wanted to make a point about the moves he initiates yet nothing comes off them because the next pass is so lame. This video presents it's nicely. 1:01 and 1:37. That's it. And there's usually a few times a match it happens. Anyway, forget it, I don't want to discuss about Eden with you. You were the one that said something like "We are lucky if we'd get 30m for him in the summer". I remember it clearly. I want everyone to see it. Absolutely mental note. Pff. Shame on you.
  15. ? Comment the Tottenham clip I just posted please. And don't answer one liner in the future to the posts because you look like troll.
  16. Eden is far from our problem. Majority of games he's played in I'd say were positive games. Good games. Amazing games. He's not Oscar. But he won't have outstanding performance in every game. Once he has poor game we immediately drop points. That's disgrace for our club that we're so relying on him. Look, his dribbling was way off on Sunday, but his acceleration was there, he was eager, I counted to 5 the times he instigated an action and wanted to receive a ball but there was nothing. We played one combination on Sunday, in the first half, in triangle and Matic only had to pass forward ball and Eden would be through on goal, but nah he passed a bit backward and the move was off. Diego Costa could pass through ball twice to Eden and he would be clear on goal but nothing came. We only have one passer in the team who sits on the bench. Eden's dribbling has to be on point in every game to create some moves because he won't receive anything with the moves he initiates. To illustrate this, look. That's not Swansea but it's what I'm talking about. Eden initiated several moves in that half and should have had a hat-trick for that but he only received one semi-decent ball back and he scored a goal. That's the problem. If he could receive balls on point from the moves he starts, he is 30 goals player. Nothing in the world will convince me otherwise. Suarez/Benzema as his striker partnership would make him deadly. Drogba was 37 years old but he's the best Eden had as his link up play was on point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTziWaIDgy4
  17. He tried to force a cut-in from the left side and shoot in 86-87 minute which was blocked. So ?
  18. Lol, sit down We're basically Eden Hazard FC yet someone still want to be fickle and jump on the gun after one poor game for his standards (decent by others ofc). Be grateful that we still have chance for top4 if this guy will keep up the form he's in because our options in attack including Moses, Pedro, Willian, Oscar shouldn't ever allow that. BTW. So few commented performance of our Player of The Year which is Willian and not Hazard I remind you. Seriously his standards are so poor that we accept a disgrace of performance that was Swansea ? Our POTY was eclipsed by Moses ffs said no one ever.
  19. You mean offensively or defensively ? Because defensively there's spectacular diffrence, offensively it's hard to say. Maybe Hazard is difference here but keep in mind we signed ONE offensive player who is a sub. We can build structures and organize the team all we want and defensively it gives effects but you can't fool when it comes to creating. Giving Guardiola example is just plain stupid, he bought several offensive players and inherited spectacular squad even before these new additions. While our Player of the Year is not able to create a situation and guy like Moses is called for the rescue (to his credit, he was on different threat level to our POTY). I was calling for offensive signings before signing a defender. You can cover your weakness in defense by being well drilled machine but you can hardly do this on the other end. All in all, we're on course of finishing in top3 which is our aim.
  20. Very important words yesterday : "David has great personality, great technique, and he likes to play,’ continued Conte. β€˜I like a defender who likes to play football. I know David can improve in defensive situations. Every player until the end of their career can improve. I say that from my experience as a footballer. David Luiz is 29, a fantastic age for him to become one of the best defenders in the world. I am seeing great commitment from him. He wanted to play for Chelsea and it’s a great opportunity for him and for us to improve." Looks like David Luiz is next big project for Antonio Conte. Adding N'golo Kante to the mix who "improved" Huth, Morgan, JT and Cahill already. Ugh. Love this. Please David, please, don't fuck this up.
  21. At Chelsea like they can pull the trigger and sell most of them at one go. But it's reasonable to keep them signed and offload at the peak of value and/or when you really need to. They get it better and spread those sells over multiple windows because if you do this at once you can see benefits at one year's accounting books only.
  22. I can't contain it. Eagerly awaiting another masterclass tomorrow. Show the POTY class.
  23. Can you explain to me how decking over railway lines is going to look like ? Some examples and pictures from Google ?
