Pienaar = Benayoun. If we keep signing & trying to sign these type of players we will become what liverpool are now. Imo, it's either give youth a chance (kakuta,bruma etc). Or sign big money players (hamsik, lukaku etc).

Why is it score zero for Carlo? He's using a proven psychological technique. Drogba will read this, and his fortunes will turn. You don't tell a 32 year old he needs to 'improve' you tell that to youngsters, for obvious reasons.

Benayoun is an extremely average player, Pienaar's slightly above average. £3m is a good price. Considering Roman won't pay over the odds for wages in the summer. I suppose we may as well give it a go, the youngsters will suffer though.. only real talent will survive.
