Hummels played in the Poland and ROI games, where Germany lost easy points. Lahm has retired. Ozil was poor for Germany in the WC tbf and we all know how he plays at Arsenal. Bastian is the player Germany have been missing tbh but Basti only has 1 more tournament left in him before he has to retire from International. The point being is, Germany's young talent currently is far below what you would expect from Germany, the world champion and a team that has won 4 WCs before. Bellarabi, Kramer, Draxler, Durm, Rudiger, Mustafi, Ginter, Hector, Kruse are all poor, they are not Germany level players. The only good young player Germany have produced in past few year is Gotze.

4-0 only VS Gibralrar??!! We are witnessing the downfall in the German NT already and it hasn't been 6 months since they won WC.
-
There are plently of other countries like China, Australia that can host just as good world cups.
-
Here's another question and something to discuss about. Qatar have hosted the AFC Asian Cup in the past and the attendances in those games were atrocious, almost empty stadiums in some games, averaging only 12k per game. This isn't suprising as this country is the same size as East Anglia of England and only has a population of 1M. The question is, will Qatar really be able to fill up their newly built 80k stadiums? Even in their games, they'd have tough time doing so.
-
No USA shouldn't have got the next WC. Australia should have. USA hosted the world cup in 1994, only 20 years ago.

Very good points actually on this, we deserve at least more world cups after all we invented the sport but it just seems FIFA and the other countries' FA just dislike us, very similar shit happened to England in 2006. The real problem lies at hand with Qatar is that they don't even have football stadiums or a good football infrastructure. Like what will happen to these multi million stadiums after the World cup is over? I can see with Russia, they have a dedicated football league and have a good football background so they sort of deserve it, they are the only big European team who haven't hosted an International tournament yet. This whole Qatar corruption thing and now I am hearing England FA will be fined, is just a smear campaign. Shame really...But I don't think boycott is the solution. Boycotting a tournament just makes England come across as bitter..
-
Although I don't condone this whole investigation into the corruption claims of 2022 world cup bid but can you enlighten me why people are so up and against about Qatar 2022 and Russia 2018?
-
What world cup is it that most people are up and against about? 2018 Russia or 2022 Qatar?
-
Sanchez definitely.

Best Weekend I've experienced since those old Mourinho days. Our lead is too large now, surely we have to win league. Although, the threat of Southampton is yet to be fully known. We need to still see how they stack up against bigger sides before we consider them as a title threat. But as a Chelsea fan, it's best to see Arsenal Man C Liverpool self destruct game after game.

Barcelona got rid of Fabregas, then re-signed him from Arsenal.
-
The thing is, Pogba was never given the chance to prove himself and Fergie didn't believe in Pogba.
-
Just like Man Utd let go of Pogba.

4 points above 2nd! 8 points above City!! Get in!
-
A draw is enough for us, I just didn't want a loss as that would've wiped off our unbeaten record this season, obviously it will come to an end eventually. Hazard could've done better with the penalty but it's all good, we were disallowed a perfectly fine goal but oh well....credit to Maribor, played their hearts out. They've managed to draw and pick up points against all the teams in the group now.
-
Who will get 2nd spot in Man City's group? Roma or CSKA? My money is on CSKA.
-
Sanchez, all around brilliant player. He is basically another Suarez.
-
AVB got quality players like Hulk, Danny, Garcia, Rondon, Kerzhakov, Witsel and can't even beat Leverkusen at home, LOL that must be embarrassing for him.
-
What the fuck is AVB doing at Zenit? Terrible manager he is proving yet again.
-
Did RVP get booked for taking off his shirt?

Mourinho this season has done a fine job, no doubt about that, whether it be domestically or in the CL. But the fact remains, we could've killed the game off but instead got on Mikel and Zouma too at the end. We were defensive at the end that was too risky. We did the same shit against City. These 2 points are major, especially when we played a Utd team today without half their attacking players. (Falcao, Rooney, Herrera)
-
We should've won this game, there were many factors that contributed to this draw. One of them being the ref. That free kick that led to the goal was never a free kick or a red card, there was no contact. Speaking of decisions, the ref was awful the entire game, we should've got 2 penalties but I digress. Mourinho's defensive tactics in last 10-15 minutes hurt us big time too. I knew as soon as I heard Costa/Remy wouldn't be playing this game, I always have a sense of pessimism for this game. People aren't realizing this is the Man Utd team without Rooney, Herrera, Falcao, essentially half of their attack force and we failed to capitalize on this. We fucked up.....
-
This fixture right here will be our hardest fixture of this whole season, you guys watch. I have a bad feeling about this, honestly. If Diego Costa isn't fit for this, we are basically fucked.
-
Nah I'd have them in the Europa league. Just in case, if suddenly they pick up form in the CL, don't want them to succeed. Europa League is also a big distraction. There are more teams in that competition from Cyprus, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Israel that they'd have to travel to, which is better than travelling to an away game to Spain or Germany for example.
