  1. Surprisingly, if you look at records, Bayern have always been better away than at playing home. I'm expecting a 2-0 win for them today.
  2. Ok that makes sense now. City mustn't lose today and they'll be OK as long as they get points in Rome. For City to go through, CSKA loss in Munich, City draw/win today and City win in Rome if draw today. Though, City must rely on CSKA losing to Munich. Either way, City need at least 4 points between today's and Rome away game assuming CSKA lose to Bayern.
  3. How will H2H be measured when 3 teams have equal points tho?
  4. What's looked at first? Goal difference or Head to Head if all 3 teams have same points?
  5. LOL CSKA! Who's going through this group now?
  6. Rodgers on LVG "He will find the EPL tough. To get top players you need CL football. United know that"
  7. They're not even midtable worthy this year, more like relegation fodder.
  8. That'd sound amazing but 3rd place is looking unlikely for them now. It's eithr CSKA/Roma in 2nd/3rd.
  9. Saints this season remind me of Liverpool last season.
  10. Now let's hope Villa do us a favor on Monday.
  11. That moment when he's not even his own girlfriend's number one choice...
  12. Well I was saying they're not built to be a football superpower like Germany, Italy, etc nor are they built to qualify for major tournaments, this is an irrefutable fact. Name me last time they even qualified for a single tournament? Yes they were important in history, that's just the Liverpool argument.
  13. India don't give a fuck about football. China however do, but most of them are born to focus on the Olympics. The major reason why China lack the power in football is because firstly the infrastructure is horrid as you say and secondly, the corruption. Yes you are right about infrastructure but it is also about population, the bigger the population, the better the talent pool. Japan and Mexico are great teams in their respective confederations but they've been both awful in the World Cups. They're not football superpowers either like Germany, Italy, etc. Yes I agree USA will become a super power in football, if the sport catches on.
  14. I'm not winding up anything, just speaking from what I believe. Scotland only have a population of 4-5 population, which is not enough for them to build a powerful team like England, Germany, Spain, etc. Is there anything wrong with saying this? Hell, it's hard to even make it to the world cup with this population. Don't get me wrong, Scotland are a very talented nation in sports, they've shown it in Rugby and Andy Murray sure as hell shown it but football just doesn't work for them, just like China, Mexico, Japan for various other reasons.
  15. Scotland are simply not a football nation, they're not built for football. They suit Rugby & Tennis better.
  16. Possibly. Heard some people were saying Russia not paying Capello is a tactic to get him to resign, as if you notice, Russian FA haven't paid Capello since he crashed out of the World Cup group stages.
  17. Hummels played in the Poland and ROI games, where Germany lost easy points. Lahm has retired. Ozil was poor for Germany in the WC tbf and we all know how he plays at Arsenal. Bastian is the player Germany have been missing tbh but Basti only has 1 more tournament left in him before he has to retire from International. The point being is, Germany's young talent currently is far below what you would expect from Germany, the world champion and a team that has won 4 WCs before. Bellarabi, Kramer, Draxler, Durm, Rudiger, Mustafi, Ginter, Hector, Kruse are all poor, they are not Germany level players. The only good young player Germany have produced in past few year is Gotze.
  18. 4-0 only VS Gibralrar??!! We are witnessing the downfall in the German NT already and it hasn't been 6 months since they won WC.
  19. There are plently of other countries like China, Australia that can host just as good world cups.
  20. Here's another question and something to discuss about. Qatar have hosted the AFC Asian Cup in the past and the attendances in those games were atrocious, almost empty stadiums in some games, averaging only 12k per game. This isn't suprising as this country is the same size as East Anglia of England and only has a population of 1M. The question is, will Qatar really be able to fill up their newly built 80k stadiums? Even in their games, they'd have tough time doing so.
  21. No USA shouldn't have got the next WC. Australia should have. USA hosted the world cup in 1994, only 20 years ago.
  22. Very good points actually on this, we deserve at least more world cups after all we invented the sport but it just seems FIFA and the other countries' FA just dislike us, very similar shit happened to England in 2006. The real problem lies at hand with Qatar is that they don't even have football stadiums or a good football infrastructure. Like what will happen to these multi million stadiums after the World cup is over? I can see with Russia, they have a dedicated football league and have a good football background so they sort of deserve it, they are the only big European team who haven't hosted an International tournament yet. This whole Qatar corruption thing and now I am hearing England FA will be fined, is just a smear campaign. Shame really...But I don't think boycott is the solution. Boycotting a tournament just makes England come across as bitter..
