  1. Screw Oscar, where the fuck was Matic exactly?!
  2. To be fair, he was making some noise a few years ago towards City until we gave him that new contract. However, the fact remains is that he is still here and is still Chelsea; I don't see him 'doing a Lampard'. And by the by, the fact that the Lampard thread is still locked is fucking bullshit. We can't express how we feel on the matter just because some don't agree or will take offence? Yes OK, some overact a bit, but its just like anything else. If some members are acting childish then they should receive warnings instead of moderators acting childish themselves by locking a thread for, what looks like, an entire fucking season; effectively taking their ball and going home - now that is childish.
  3. Gladbach are fucking chancers. Can you imagine the price we would be quoted for the Pro League player of the year? Upwards of £10-15m. Gladbach are sly as far as I'm concerned, playing him in a different position; just wait until they seal the deal, put him in his best position and his price tag will magically triple! Long gone are the days when we pay exorbitant fees and sell for buttons. If he's supposedly 'worth' only €8m now, I imagine he will be worth a similar amount in a few years even if he develops no further (disregarding contract length). We need to get him on a longer contract and loaned to a club that doesn't take the piss.
  4. Mikel?! I'd say he's more like Ramires... Mikel is one of a kind!
  5. Well you've just answered for me! My point is that the first point with Schurrle was with the board/Emenalo, not Mourinho. That's it, and I think it says a lot about the disparity between the player and how José wants to play.
  6. I don't know if it came across right, but I know that part. The José stuff started in early 2013. However, we had been trying to sign Schurrle since the summer of 2012. That's why I do not think he is fully a José player; he gave the green light but he did not actively seek him like he did with Willian - and we can clearly see the difference between the two. That's my point.
  7. I think we have to remind ourselves of the circumstances and time period when Schurrle was signed. His signing coincided time-wise with Mourinho's return late in the 12/13 season, before the transfer window opened. So he was basically 99% signed by the time Mourinho was confirmed and all that needed to be done was for José to give the green light, which he did of course. Now we ask, why did he give the green light? Well maybe a few reasons: It was already 99% done, the obvious one. Perhaps José didn't want to kick up a fuss as soon as he walked in the door. José probably didn't want to think of the alternative: not signing someone else and resorting to bring back Moses. José perhaos thought he could mould him into his 'type of player', ala Joe Cole and, more recently, Willian (who was lazy before he came here remember). So the main thing to take away is that Schurrle isn't a Mourinho signing really; he's more a circumstantial signing and probably the last made by the board since they would never give Di Matteo or Benitez such power. I personally like Schurrle, but like I mentioned in the match thread, he needs a very specific set of circumstances to perform well; a high-line, which not many will play against Chelsea - it's why he's mainly used as a substitute by us and Germany, and why he starts against teams like Arsenal. I think he'll be replaced in the summer. The good thing is that I think he'll keep his value, because he is still perfect for many, many teams - just not the very top teams.
  8. People having kittens and saying we were shit but I think the luck was clearly with them, not us. Southampton defended well enough and got at our defence at a very uncharacteristic moment of a lack of organisation. Also, when chances are few you would expect top quality refereeing to correctly judge such important moments as the pen, but it was an abysmal, abysmal decision. Fucking atrocious. Maybe selection and subs could've been a bit better, but I felt we were ultimately robbed by piss-poor refereeing. P.S. Ivanovic is a diving pansy and should be dropped indefinitely anytime he dives or goes down screaming like he's been shot (which he did today). The size of him - fucking man up.
  9. Soooo wasteful again from Luis. Some people have been praising him but I think he's been very disappointing today.
  10. The game seems far too quick for Didier to influence.
  11. Oh Jesus Christ, not only do they have the ref practically wearing their shirt, but they are so lucky with their shitty pitch.
  12. Ivanovic having a fucking mare. Can't even challenge in the air which is supposed to be his strength.
  13. World Class from Hazard and Fabregas. An absolutely massive moment. Two shining lights in an otherwise below average performance. Hoping José gives the defence a kick up the arse so we can push on from here. Willian/Oscar on for Schurrle and maybe Rami on for Mikel if we want to energise the team further.
  14. Need Willian/Oscar on for Schurrle in the second. Schurrle can't get involved in the passing game the way they can and he can't get in behind at the moment either.
  15. Lol, as long as I never see him in a Chelsea shirt again I couldn't care less!
  16. Time for Mourinho to school Brenden all over again. Not once ounce of fear facing these mugs. Bring it on.
  17. Screw the game, I'm just glad the lad is ok. Really looked like a bad one...we're lucky he's only a part-time footballer, full-time TANK.
  18. Lol, Costa! That will be very interesting to see: Costa Vs. Luiz. The pair of them will love winding each other up. I can see a red card somewhere in that battle if it gets heated enough.
  19. Lol, my main point is that they're all very poor finishes and not good saves, which you've just proven. Cheers. United fans and everyone are getting all jumped up about him recently because he makes so called 'great saves' against Hull, Stoke and an extremely poor Liverpool. I believe he's a good keeper, but way too overhyped. Sue me.
  20. If you can somehow support youngsters starting a match away to Derby, as well as 'understand' José's decision to only play RLC for 10 ten minutes as a substitute in a nothing game at home, then I think its best to just end the discussion.
  21. True, we're not playing a world class team, and I do not doubt the youngsters skill, but what you're suggesting is to play 'boys' against 'men'. The smallest/youngest/most inexperienced player on a pitch will always be exploited in some form or another. If they don't do it tactically, they will certainly do it physically and proceed to kick 7 shades of s**t out of whoever it may be. It will be loud (Derby have the best attendance in the Championship), it will be physical and it will most definitely be hostile; certainly not an environment young players like Bogo & RLC are used to. It may as well be different worlds to them and, because of that, there would be a good chance of shellshock. I was angry at José for not giving RLC enough time in a nothing home game in Europe where you can't get away with being overly physical, but suggesting such a youthful combination AWAY to a championship team who have everything to play for is, I'm sorry, a bit arrogant and kind of bordering on insanity.
  22. I'm not saying he isn't good; certainly better than Hart, but there's currently too much hype around him simply because he's one of the busiest keepers in the league and he plays for United. I still believe we have the best keeper in the league.
  23. Don't believe the hype. A keeper who is naturally a lot busier due to shit defending will often look better than he is. He won the one-on-one because Sterling is terrible and the last shot was straight down his throat.
  24. The combination of both the lack of chemistry and experience of that front line would make it a disaster, far from 'great'.
