We are not even at all our attack reads: Hazard 16, Morata 5, Higuain 5, Giroud 2 compare the 3 strikers we have to Kane and Song.At best Giroud would compete with Llorente Likewise Ericsson and Jorginho, Danny Rose and Alonso/Emerson, Tippier and Cesar

I agree in regards to perception, however if Sarri finishes above Poch and wins the Europa, I will argue he is better. Give Sarri Song or Kane or both and we would have another 10 -12 points. Sarri is in his 1st season, signed 2 weeks before the season started, Poch has won nothing, Kane is an Alan Shearer but if they bottle it this Year he should consider moving because with this manager he might never win a trophy. at best 4 - 5 of our players will make into Spurs, they have a better team, buying is not always the solution ask United fans. Even Danny Rose is better than the 2 we have, if Sarri finishes 3rd Poch is overrated and manages bottlers.

Sarri has done well with this squad, only 2 players will get into the top 5 side and with the best effort our strikers have scored 12 goals + Hazards 16 in the championship. so the team that scored the least in the top 6 could come 3rd and can win the Europa cup. we are not Arsenal, they are under performers and legendary at it. Give Sarri Lacazette or Aubamayang or both and you wouldn't believe its the same Chelsea. If we had Song or Kane or both, I wonder. Martial or Rashford, Aquero, Sane. all such players are not available to be bought, in the circumstances we are doing great.

Welcome Higuain, what a second goal, finally a striker that didn't drift into offside throughout 90 minutes. Being a striker can be frustrating in CFC as our wingers don't cross enough, also Azpi and Alonso are poor crossers but if Higuain can score 10 more goals, he would have been worth every penny. Liked his movement and hope the partnership with Hazard is improved and sustained. William had a good game and played as a winger, some crosses went begging but this was a good performance from him. Christensen stepped up well and those 2 block were crucial. Ross Barkley has to step up his game, poor decisions and unforced errors. Alonso, better than Emerson

Hazard had a good game today and would have probably had a 3rd if he stayed on. honestly, he's been poor in the last couple of matches and I was getting fed up of silly flicks and misplaced passes. There is a lot more from this gem but he doesn't show enough desire consistently.

remember Alonso was on the field, so Emerson had the freedom to go forward. Not saying Alonso is great but Sarri sees them in training.

what a match, it was like a Mourinho job but delivered better. City had possession, more so in the 1st 20 minutes but without bite. I was in Wembley against Spurs and can say Luiz had one of his best games since his return. In fairness, the midfielders shielded the back so well and the team was compact. Hazard won more aerial balls than Morata and held his own without having his best match. Morata started poorly with about 6 poor passes and bad decisions but rose up to the occasion in the second half. enjoy some moments:
