  1. Jose will you be in Madrid next season? Jose: maybe not Where will you be? Jose:I want to be where I am wanted and loved
  2. SPURS V WIGAN ENDED AT 2-2 WITH WIGAN CONCEDING AN INJURY TIME OWN GOAL
  3. Torres is actually due a, he's been quite lively recently and BA was nowhere to be found in Wembley till Torres came in. Torres should be able to outrun Carragher, expect him to score today.
  4. The whole team took their time to start and it was a poor 1st half from the whole team. Cech suddenly cant pick players out, Oscar and Hazard lost the balls in the double figures, Mikel gave Yaya a run although had a misplaced pass, cant fault him for the 1st goal, taken off for a more attacking approach which brought the best out of Oscar. I don't see who Lampard or JT would have come in for and cant fault the spirit of the team in the 2nd half. We lost to a more physically strong team that dwarfed our midfield and took their chance when in control of the game. Only opinion on Rafa is Torres should have come in a little earlier but he was vindicated on leaving Oscar on the pitch (Lampard and Moses can never track back the way Oscar did). Lost to to a fitter better team whose keeper had a good game.
  5. AFCON confirms Mikel a discipline, and class player that plays to instructions. In CFC he hadly goes forward and restricts his passes to short ones to quality players like Mata, Oscar and Hazard however with Nigeria, given the freedom he sends out passes that looks like Steve Gerrards customary passes. Note there are 2 other midfielders taking responsibility unlike CFC were Lampard, Ramires, Cahill/Terry, Ivanovic are going forward at every opportunity. Victor Moses is class but will need to score more goals to be classified a striker, wish the CFC trio (Mikel, Moses and Omeruo) best of luck on Sunday. Shola Amoebi missed the chance of winning a trophy in his career by turning Nigeria down sad he's only played 30mins for Newcastle through out the duration of the AFCON (his loss), Peter Odemwinge wouldnt have been enmeshed in the QPR transfer mess if he had gone to AFCON as well.
  6. Based on this game: Thank God Drogba didn't stay after Munich, also Kalou. Kenneth Omeruo should have a future in CFC with the way he kept Gervinho very quiet. We have a gem in Moses and believe it or not Tiote of Newcastle is not worthy of Mikels studs.
  7. Chelsea had 3 players playing for Nigeria Mikel, Moses and Kenneth Omeruo RB who is presently on loan, Ivory Coast had 2 ex CFC a legend Didier Drogba and a veteran Saloman Kalou, also played for IC were AFC connection Gervinho and Eboue (former), Yaya played 90mins and Kolo was on the bench, Zokora (ex Spurs), and Tiote Newcastle all starred for Ivory Coast.

  9. I am new to the forum, Nigerian origin, live in London, started supporing the Club in 1995 when my hero Ruud Gullit was signed by Glenn Hoddle further cemented with the signing of Celestine Babayaro in 1997. I have been a regular at the Bridge since 2001 and have been able to convert a lot of Nigerians to support the Club by inviting them to our games. Also go to some away matches when able like The finals in Moscow and Munich also was in Monaco against Atletico and most recently against Tottenham. In the present crop I respect Ivanovic and believe is Central defence capabilities are understated, in my opinion he is miles better ahead of Luiz and better than Terry. my ideal back 4 are: Ashley Cahil Ivanovic Azpilicueta
