Its not even 'downing tools', if the manager can't get the respect of the key players, they can choose not to perform and play in 2nd gear. 
There are some similiarities with young AvB trying to shake things up (which ultimately failed). 
It was obvious that the PSG game killed this squad.   You don't change goalkeepers in a critical game just because you feel one is good with the ball at his feet. 
If Liam has any managerial ability, he should come up with something for the next 2 home games.....otherwise all I see is two more humiliating losses.

With the way the players have given up, there's no chance of UCL next season (which may actually be a good thing as Blueco won't be able to sign any big name flops). 
That gutless performance against Newcastle's second rate midfield said it all.  They let Woltemade, Murphy and co run around the pitch without doing anything.  No sense of urgency, playing at home, you should be trying to force a goal rather than pass the ball around for stats. 
Not sure what happened to Enzo, Caicedo, Palmer, even Pedro....all of them appear to be in 2nd gear and going through the motions. 
After the United game, the club should just play some youngsters like Walsh, Shim and others and give them experience for next season as we'll be out of the UCL race by a mile.

😒💥There’s no message of an imminent change on Liam Rosenior. Chelsea don’t forget that he arrived in the middle of the season, had no pre season and that this is not a squad built for him. Let’s see how the final 2 months go but, CFC maintain their support for him.

Emery is not even close to yes man enough to work out.
Do think it's funny we're pretending this whole situation sn't a Rosenior problem as well though. Dude is well out of his depth. Probably a nice guy but also a huge fucking joke at this level. Maresca, poch and tuchel are leagues above him.

You mean the same Emery who isn't happy at Villa because he prefers to have control over transfers?    Imagine him trying to work with Eghali and the Brighton boys.  

 

They will always find half decent managers to come in like your Potter, Liam types as these guys could never dream of being the manager of a typical top 4 club like us.  Plenty of those managers out there across Europe but they all have the same problem, they can't handle the pressure of expectations. 
Just look at the last two games with Liam.  Throws the tie against PSG by playing Jorgensen in the first leg.  Then we can't do anything against Newcastle's reserve midfield and they literally WALK the ball into our goal with every defender casually jogging back. 
I knew this was coming, you could tell after the cup tie with Wrexham, they were down to 10 men and they were creating opportunities.  
The problem is, we will never hire a top level manager again, the one that needs to come in and build the spine of the team and get us into that killing mode of being able to win those tight games like a Mourinho (04-05), Conte, Tuchel. 

He'll be gone by end of the season, seems like they are just waiting for him to finish 6th or 7th with this group of players. 
I honestly don't see how we win the next PL games.   The whole team sucks and Reece is out.
