  1. Brentford will be all over Sanchez and our defenders. Expecting a draw but hoping we can pull off a moment of magic and get the 3 points 😃
  2. Well... the positive is that most of the starting XI didn't have to travel for Conference League. Brentford will kill us on set pieces, hopefully Sanchez and the defenders are ready.
  3. We'll end up getting a cheap loan from a Serie A team with "option to buy". 😄
  4. Looking at the midfield and attack for this game, it's like we're playing a pre-season friendly 😆 (with the exception of Neto).
  5. I don't see Palmer leaving England, if City survive the 115 charges, they'll buy him back
  6. Why would West Ham do that? 😆 Bowen's like their most important attacker.
  7. Such a shame about Acheampong's contract situation, would have been good to see him get a run of games at RB. Would be awesome to see young Kiano Dyer get some minutes in midfield.
  8. Depends who is playing in our defense, our CB's tend to have heart attack moments every now and then, particularly Disasi and co.
  9. Put it this way, if our attacking talent decides to put in the effort in the final third...it should be a good win. If we turn up complacent and let them get any half chances, could easily be a frustrating 1-1 draw.
  10. The worst part is, I'd still play him ahead of Disaster/Badi. Would be awesome to see the club get a proper CB in the next transfer window, would increase our chances of getting top 4 this season.
  11. Bigger waste than Lukaku & Mudryk? Squad players, not sure what fans expect from a young defender and a defender that came on a free from Fulham 😆
  12. Stayed at PSG too long, should have moved on a few years ago to develop his game. Funny thing is, he's like the worst profile fit for Real Madrid. His skill set would have been more useful for the likes of Liverpool on the break, the way Salah/Gakpo/Diaz broke the game open, that's what Mbappe thrived on in his earlier years.
  13. Even the player you mentioned was an unproven striker at Coventry but fast forward 2-3 years and he's leading the line in Portugal, playing for national team and scoring for fun. I wouldn't be surprised if Delap is putting up solid numbers in a few seasons time, you can see the raw talent he has, had multiple opportunities to wreck United on the break in the last PL game. Focus should definitely be on a reliable GK first (in the mould of Cech, Courtois), then worry about Striker.
  14. IIRC, we paid Leicester like 30 million for Drinkwater even though he had no business moving to Chelsea as compensation for Kante's low transfer fee. Kante was definitely leaving in that window and one of the transfer reporters confirmed with Leicester that we jumped in before Arsenal could negotiate the transfer.
  15. Who is going to 'buy' mudryk from us? The best we can hope for is a loan spell where he does well and maybe we negotiate a permanent deal the following season...
  16. Anyone who has been able to follow/track the development of Paez, what's his best position? Is he a winger or more of a midfielder? Don't we already have a backup RB from the academy? Acheampong IIRC or is he still looking to walk on a free transfer
  17. I wouldn't mind Semenyo from Bournemouth as a squad player, that guy is just pure chaos in the final third of the pitch 😃
  18. Kelleher is a #2, if he was that good, why did Liverpool go out and sign Valencia's keeper?
  19. He'd be fine as a rotation player for mid-table sides. People are writing him off because he doesn't fit at Chelsea but that's on Enzo for bringing him here.
  20. I don't see us getting him, I remember reading somewhere his dream was to be Real Madrid player sooner or later.
  21. Think most managers out there will keep their star playmaker on the pitch for as long as possible (unless they are injured or you really need to shake things up on the pitch). Imagine the headlines if we lost the game and Palmer was subbed off early just for Felix/Nkunku to be ineffective on the pitch as super subs.
  22. If we don't get top 4, it'll be one of two reasons: 1. Sanchez being prone to errors 2. CB issues as we have no depth (wouldn't trust Badiashile or Disasi for an extended run of games).
  23. I'd be surprised if we get a point from them (without Palmer in the team). Our defenders and GK seem prone to giving away fouls in the box and you just know Kai will want to make a statement against his former club.
  24. Not that surprising, quality player and if he's fit, should be playing regularly for both club & country.
