It was a pre-season training. They were getting fit, while Mourinho was tweaking new formations. We lost to the small teams last season bcos when they give us the ball, we pass awfully (hazard dribbles alone without any help for a one-two from teammates, ramires with a poor pass, luiz with a hopefull long pass/shot, ivanovic free to cross to no one all the time and slow movement throughout) we should take the teamplay moves as more of a priority in training this season. 90mins without any one-twos or practiced triangle possession movement is not acceptable this season. We can't only practice moves on the counter and ignore moves in possession play. I don't even care how we beat the big teams, it's just not good if the smaller teams starto becoming confident, knowing if they park the bus, they don't lose.

Spot on. Exactly what I wanted to say
-
Exactly. Manutd have crap players in pre-season compared to ours today but I saw team chemistry and linkup play. We clearly have a defensive coordination and counter attack plan perfect, but when the opponent sits back and make us have to break them down, only practiced offensive team moves (one-twos, quick 5passes, pass and movement with both fullbacks moving forward) can break down the team. Or else we are dependent on individual performance from hazard to break through 3 players with pure dribbling and open up space. It's just wrong to watch 90mins and not go "ahh I've seen that play from us before" It's two weeks before the season starts but this is still pre-season so I'll take it like it was a formation training.
-
It's just the basic linkups I'm looking for. The one-two's, fast interchange of 5passes, at least let me see it once or twice during possession play. Strange imo
-
Like I said before, we always look like we don't train passing movement, that's why it looks like they are playing with each other for the first time.Mourinho has to start practicing passing movement in training sessions. This lack of linkup play is getting on my nerves

Terrible. The cease fire was not fair on the civilians. They wanted Israel to still be doing operations in Gaza during humanitarian aid but made it look like they were closing the tunnels in Israel only. But why is the Usa sending $225million to Israel and supporting them that much, but at the same time they criticize Russia for even lesser actions??

Actually a good question. Same size, Oscar better in tackles. The only reason I can think of is that fabregas has played there before.

Are we playing the diamond again. cech Azpi iva cahill Luis Matic Salah. Vanginkel Fabregas Torres costa Please God

The "completed" Chelsea side and attractive football.

Barbara The practiced moves were poor last season. At times it felt like they haven't played with each other before. No understanding, no teamplays, no 1-2 combination plays, no vision. Maybe rotating the strikers so much didn't allow for more understanding between the ams and the strike. But now we have someone that makes runs constantly, keeping the centerbacks on the run and thinking. Now we have someone who is looking to pick out runs in behind the defence so gameplay will definitely improve now. Hopefully schurlle gets more gametime now so him and costa make runs and add finishing to our team. -

Mourinho does hold the record for most goals in laliga. 121 with Madrid in 38games is almost impossible to be beaten. If we play anywhere as good as that 2011/2012 Madrid side, we're in for a cracker. The key is that we needed better finishers because we will concede when attacking like that. That's where costa and fabregas come in, good finishers and hopefully alongside schurlle in attack, we won't find goals difficult to come by. We also need a marcelo to help our Ronaldo(hazard) in attack, that's where Luis comes in. A highly technical left back that can actually dribble his marker and put in dangerous crosses. I'm sure that's why Mourinho feels like keeping cech and Courtois bcos he knows they will be left isolated hence the keeper with the best reflexes on form is critical. Mourinho has a history of fantastic second seasons (Porto, Chelsea, inter, Madrid) he understands what are the missing links in the first season and fixes them in the second. Can't wait for the new season!! -
Pls don't scare me. If that happens, we need to go all out for Dimaria to make sure LVG doesn't take manutd above us.

I don't think we can beat bayern/barca to reus, bayern are eyeing him as a Ribery replacement. He is a phenomenal player. On par with hazard, if we get him, we will have the third best team in Europe. costa Reus hazard schurlle Matic fabregas Luis terry chill azpi Courtois/cech Only Madrid and Barcelona front four can compare with that.

First of all, we need to keep one manager. Ancelloti liked mcaecran and he got sacked, that was the end for the lad. AVB liked sturridge after he never got a chance. RDM liked Bertrand but now he's gone. Benitez liked Ake and now he rarely plays. When Jose gets his liked player we can't afford to sack him or the cycle continues.

I knew they bought oblak but wasn't sure of his quality. Since u said he's a enough replacement then I'll take your word for it, they have nothing to fear. The rest of their team will do fine as long as they maintain that fantastic defensive record of last season.

So what was the point of killing gaddafi if there is still war in Libya years later. Smh International countries just came there and stole oil(that's why most oil nations are in crisis all of a sudden in the past 6 yrs)

Don't forget last season we played with a striker in that never makes runs(torres) and another that is too slow or physically strong to power through epl defenses. Now we'll have costa and schurlle making runs constantly. To defend us will be a serious task next season.

Griezmann- mandzukic - turan Koke - gabi Tiago Not bad, they have goals in mandzukic and griezmann, creativity from Koke and solidity from gabi-Tiago Just hope they can replace Courtois.

That is sad. Hard to be peace if options are limited. But I wish loss of civilian lives could be limited somehow. From what I understand, israel will not allow palestine to be a single state. Their vote is needed for that so its a lost cause. But imo, the reason why palestine is receiving less sympathy from the international community is because of links with hamas (which is widely viewed as a terrorist organisation) and their massive influence throughout the country. If they disassociate themselves from hamas, israel will have no excuses to be there and the international community will have no choice but to step in and punish any infringements done by israel as a war crime. What hamas is giving them is an excuse to come under the flag of "war against terrorists"

Oh thanks. So from what you've explained to me, the story goes like this. Israel and palestine have a two state agreement. Israel builds settlements on palestine soil, hamas fire rockets in anger because Israel have continually broke agreements. And now Israel feel firing rockets is an act of war (and like US did in iraq after the 9/11) israel decide to start a ground offensive to try to disarm hamas at the cost of so much casualties (like usa did in iraq) My main problem is, 1. why is this agreement not made public to UN as proof of israel's wrong doing so that international help can be on palestine side? 2. Why is hamas the FBI for palestine? Why are the palestine govt not carrying out their decisions on their own instead of hamas??

Is there a way, Palestine can be convinced to remove hamas from their govt. If the powerful positions hamas hold in the leadership positions in palestine can be overturned the hamas will have no power over them will eventually lose means to fund their attacks leading to a more sustained peace between isreal and palestine. I'm I missing something with this statement, or is hamas hold over palestine too strong for a combined international and palestine internal efforts to remove hamas to happen?

All round midfielder, with technical abilities and the Spanish brain running through his veins. If only he can stay fit and grab his chances
