I said exactly this after they bought dimaria. They have too much firepower. Their defense may be shit but they only need 4shots to score 2 goals against Southampton, arsenal and Liverpool. They have too much free time (1 week) to prepare tactics against any opponent while we have 3 days. That was exactly what Rodgers enjoyed with Liverpool, and now they are a pub team without chance. Thirdly vangaal may not be Mourinho but he's a far better manager than Moyes. Ferguson proved over the years that even a worse team than this can win the league. I don't expect them to win but they are guaranteed champions League next season IMO

As I predicted earlier in the season, manutd are easily going to qualify for champions League. Liverpool can't survive without mobile goalscoring strikers, they are playing torres level strikers and suddenly their most creative team of last season is on the same level of creativity as sunderland.

Costa style is making a lot of runs and fabregas is the only one who understands that. So earlier in the season we saw a lot of Fabregas to costa goals, but now teams have figured that they have to shut out fabregas and the rest of our midfielders can't spot costa making a run and send an accurate through pass to him. So only crosses have been delivered to costa when he's not good in the air. When Hazard gave that pass for the goal it was a relief to see a throughball through the middle to costa that wasn't fabregas. I'll rather we pass to a running costa than the current increase of passing to him standing.

Hazard finally saw the Costa run while he was dribbling. Costa makes a lot of runs in behind the defenders. For the past 3 games he has been given the ball while standing which will make him dribble and he is no Suarez. If our midfielders can stop ignoring him when he makes the run, and pass more to our most clinical player in the box our goals will increase again.

I'm more angry he can't dribble or seem to shoot well with all that speed and technique he has. If we get a counter, every team will love their fast players to get the ball so they quickly make full use of the counterattack, but for us if the ball doesn't fall to hazard, its a waste because willian will run, do a stepovers and push the ball forward to cross and we end up losing the ball every time. The schurlle goal was all him, drove into the box past two players and laid it for schurlle. Who says he can't make yayatoure plays if he's given more freedom.

He has improved our setpieces this season it's crazy. If mikel and cahill scored their free headers from fabregas setpieces against newcastle, we would have been talking about a win just from his setpiece quality alone. And he still assisted Drogba from a setpiece in the match.

United are looking set for a top 4 like I predicted after the transfer window. Even with half their defenders always missing, they still are 3rd ahead of teams without a striker.(arsenal and Liverpool)

I'm I the only one who has noticed that no one except fabregas tries to put costa through when he makes a run??? A lot of times hazard/Oscar/willian dribble and get close to the box, costa makes a run and is ignored. At the beginning of the season everyone tried to get the ball to him while he was running but now our ams keep their head down and shoot.

I think we've lost that massive attack style we used at the beginning of the season. We just outscored the opponent 3-1 or 4-2 like Madrid did during Mourinho's spell there. We complained that courtois couldn't keep a clean sheet like cech but we actually sacrificed the defense for all out attacking like against Everton, Burnley and Swansea. Infact I remember all of the opponents having so much chances but we had more quality up front. But now we're playing a more controlled game where we are more solid in defense and creating enough chances for only 2 goals per match but that means that if the new additions of Fabregas and Costa's quality doesn't deliver, we look like last season. I think we should go all out again like the beginning of the season because I don't think the smaller teams have what it takes to score 3 goals against us, so us scoring 3 or more guarantees us the win. It could be because of fatigue that slowed down the intensity of our attacking too but I've noticed a drop in chances created since the manutd game.
