  1. He has started five games and has been decisive in three of them vs leciester, Bolton and Aston villa. He did ok vs burnley and gave an assist vs swansea. Haterz should stop bringing out stats from 2nd half of last season to make him look bad in a new season that can be done for just about most players at the age of 22. He is 23 and is doing well this season leave judgement for later.
  2. Its good that you suggest areas for percieved strengthening but you will do even better by mentioning names of players we could buy at a reasonable price to strengthen this areas because as far as I am concerned we could strengthen our team with messi, robben, Di maria, CR7, neuer, alaba, suarez, bale and the list goes on but at what price.
  3. Sorry dude he isn't our best player anymore. When mata was in great form and our best player for two seasons we won trophies. Hazard lead us to third but thanks more largely to our defense. Some People say he is our best player but what is he really best at(dribbling?) Or may be chance creation but fabregas is our best passer of the ball and an assist master but also the new brain of our team so how is hazard better? Costa is another who for me personally is our best player because he is what you call an impact player(always there when you need him),he is a winner despite his young age and our saviour in terms of finishing. Matic is also outstanding with a curious talent of winning second balls and despossessing opponents seemlessly in addition to being proficient in building attacks or counter attacks. Please Hazard isn't our best player IMO he might be our best dribbler therefore in that sense our most skillful or exciting player but not our best player. We now have players I feel have greater impact on our team giving us great precision in attack and defensive solidity and who have more experince in big games and winning major trophies, I am afraid hazard lacks a bit for now to be the best player in our new team.
  4. This is close to what some have been trying to say including me. If he dribbles in threatening areas we will get penalties and hazard will score more because penalties are assigned to him.
  5. Dribbling in our half or non-dangerous areas isn't exactly what I want as a chelsea fan despite adding to his successful dribbles statistics, that's for statisticians. However how many of those dribbles(which are many statistically) led to a cross, shot or penalty or even a through pass(even attempted) which is what i mean by total skill (skill set if you like). Di maria for example always dribbles to find space for the cross, shot or to drive at defenders. For the statistics you put out he dribbles for fun rather than effect. You seem to be digging to deep to make sense of most of his dribbles. What we expect are shots, crosses, penalties, attempted through balls, running into the box. He does do it but not enough for the kind of stats you put up.
  6. It must be oscars fault we haven't won in two matches. No haters this week at least. He played the most minutes of any chelsea player at the world cup so i am satisfied he is getting some rest especially with the run of four games coming up starting with bolton. He should be refreshed.
  7. Obviously hazards best talent is dribbling that's why he focuses on it a lot but a simple pass sometimes is best option something he was reluctant to do in this game (same for willian). I don't want to use the word overhyped but people expect too much from him. He is an excellent dribbler but otherwise a very good player in other abilities(not great). He never shoots despite having the best ability to get into dangerous positions among our team. For me he played very well because I don't overhype him but to those that do he may not have done enough. I love that he never gets injured. With a little more consistency he would do just fine for a 200k a week player may be having 2 very exceptional seasons at an older age but I don't think he is the best at anything among players in the EPL(may be in dribbling he comes really close but not in total skills like Di Maria nor scoring, shooting, assisting) but he will remain among the best though, hopefully consistently and that's ok for me because he cost only 32 million.
  8. His defensive duties reduced his offensive game. I thought mourinho's tactic was rotten for the really good players we now have especially as we where conceeding corner after corner.
  9. Clearly the man of the match for us. Fought like a lion and gave us the advantage by sending zabaleta off. Its a pity his shot hit the post. He along with azpilicueta where the real positives for me over 90 minutes in a game we should have won at the end. Matic worked hard, hazard assisted and schurrle scored but we should have won our attitude against ten men was rotten.
  10. He started centrally, was struggling then moved out wide later
  11. I don't think bringing him on at the end of the game to play at no. 10 was the wisest idea. He would have served better from the wings if he had to come on as a sub. Its very rare for a team to change no. 10s as an impact sub while chasing a game or trying to win a game, as much as i respect mourinho i thought it was stupid and the result would be the same 10 times over. The starting no. 10(fabregas) had already set the tempo for over an hour how do you expect a new no. 10 to adapt when the players are already in synch with the former(fabregas). That sub disrupted our play but against a better team and he does that sub in the middle of the game we may just loose it.
  12. I still can't believe he is blue. Dream signing after we missed out on pirlo some seasons ago.
  13. When he plays like dat and doesn't get man of the match it shows the calibre of our squad. He was really good when he was on the ball and looked much closer to his finished product, he looked polished. A big contrast to his game vs everton.
  14. Can't stop scoring. Tailor-Made for chelsea. There's obviously more to come because he hasn't broken sweat yet and is still getting to top physical condition despite looking as fit as a bull. He has other great qualities we are sure to still see like running at defenders scaring them to bits.
  15. He is more than just a No. 10, he is a technician. Doing ok so far.
  16. Ibra is d best so much that he shouldn't even be on that list. Aguero is next based on his versatility and winning 2 league titles in EPL(that's not easy). Costa is behind aguero in 3rd he also offers versatility and would probably have had a statue at athletico if he was fit and won the UCL instead of real madrid, costa is a winner. However I think suarez has the best potential but because he hasn't achieved anything he comes 4th for me due to his versatility and variety of goals. Lewandowski is good but doesn't scare me, same for cavani, RVP. Falcao isn't top because he is a predator but not a versatile striker, as a predator he is the best considering finishing alone. Rooney, torres, higuain I don't care about, they are not as prolific as the others. So ibra might not be a big game player but his mere presence is scary enough but smaller teams he gives nighmares and has a lot of trophies especially league titles to show as evidence. Technically and physically he is the best. He comes at No. 1 Aguero has great balance, technique, versatility and talent but also strength, helped unknown city to 2 Epl title, 1 more will equal our EpL trophys in the last decade. He comes at No. 2 Diego costa did for athletico what no other striker has done for them and they have had many great strikers. To beat the quality of barca and madrid to liga and nearly the UCL(which he was absent) makes him scary at No. 3 with potential to go up higher. Suarez has shown great potentials which are only so because he has won nothing unfortunately. However a good player is a good player and he has some great scoring record in the EPL which is not easy but he has not shown enough in Big games too. He has classy goals in him and versatility but let's see how he does at barca (a big team). He is the best dribbler among the strikers and he comes at 4th.
  17. He seems to be a neat striker, but also a little tricky and pacy on the break, his energy and movement will be useful in away games assuming costa is injured. I have to watch him play for us. I hope he does a job for us never mind the Job.
  18. RVP,Rooney,DiMaria,Falcao....god save the Queen #but Chelsea Unfazed
  19. For me he isn't chelsea material, he is not experienced in europe. Ba(whom we let go), welbeck and destro are considerably better with more potential. But if he has the best of his career at chelsea I wouldn't have a problem. Still he is far less talented than back up strikers like jovetic, dzeko, negredo, balotelli, chicharito, welbeck and not up to Giroud all of whom play for our rivals. So far not good enough.
  20. What do you guys think of Danny Welbeck as a second striker? I think we should go for him. He is home grown and young and quite a mourinho type player I think. Daestro wouldn't be the worst but welbeck might be more convenient.
  21. Its nice that we can have a consistent goal scorer up front. He is our most important forward for that reason.
  22. He is a good striker, good instincts he has from the videos I watched, good awareness in the box and an excellent finisher. A poacher, he could develop to a very high level in a few years given that poachers don't really shine early. We difinitely need his type.
  23. He played well offensively but azpillicueta was really left exposed and stranded through out the first half in which the team was suffering defensively while schurrle was helping ivanovic out, he needs to improve his defensive display by responding to teams defensive needs when we are suffering. The flicks and dribbles are what he loves doing though. In the first half where the team was poor he sometimes dribbled in the wrong places and slowed down our attack or lost the ball or he gets kicked which could have been avoided by a simple pass. Offensively he was outstanding especially for his goal which is where I expect him to be dribbling but I loved his game against burnley better which was simple and effective through out.
