I've always said hazard is a great dribbler but scoring isn't his only lesser strength, for all his creativity his assist numbers are also not special. In the last 2 or 3 games it has been more of him at the end of things (mostly misfiring) than actually creating for others. May be he is actually a midfielder because he doesn't put in crosses regularly like a winger should nor does he score as much as a forward. I think its time we utilize his dribbling in a four man midfield with a good defensive work rate he would be superb. ------------Courtois----- Iva------Cahill----Terry-----Azpi Oscar/willian--Cesc--Matic--Hazard ----------Remy/schurrle------- ------Diego Costa---------

I predict hazards very best moment will come when he is 27, at an age where he becomes a man and a very experienced footballer with natural improvement in his finishing i see him as being phenominal at that age. Hopefully he will still be at chelsea by then.

That's why i said i disagree in terms of football qualities that involve the use of the brain. For example when hazard picks up the ball his first instinct is always to dribble where ever he is even when he is near our goal but when oscar gets the ball he thinks of a lot more possible options. Also when oscar isn't playing well his work rate is still good but when hazard isn't at his best he completely disappears and doesn't even want the ball until he has what i call a "Hazard moment" like he did vs everton this season, hazard disappears when he plays badly so how can he misplace passes when he doesn't even want the ball in such situations especially in the first 20 minutes of such games. I also like to think our team plays far better when oscar is in form (e.g vs palace, vs leciester 2nd half) while hazards brilliance doesn't affect the entire team as much as an in form oscar(e.g vs arsenal and vs maribor away). Creating balance is a talent and I am patient enough to wait and see the new influence this kind of talent which oscar has will have on our team when it completely matures. Along with cesc and matic our midfield will become like a DNA playing well in each game for a very different reason from the next. Someone said our team is as adaptable as water look no further than our midfield which is core to see why.

I strongly disagree that hazard is WAY(as you said) more talented than oscar, especially in terms of pure football qualities which involves the use of the brain. Hazard is rather more blessed with athletic qualities which complements his talent(strength, speed) therefore i presume by talented you mean only in dribbling and/or chance creation which i agree with but doesn't amount to WAY more talented. Given his athletic limitations (strength, stamina) oscar is a much more phenomenal player for me especially as he surprisingly and seemingly portrays himself as a strong player on the field. Mourinho summed up hazards talent by saying he is phenomenal because he dribbles or beats one, two and three players (the key word being dribbling or chance creation), on the other hand mourinho summed up Oscars talent by saying he creates balances, gives creativity and scores goals only made possible by his talent but we also know his pressing is world class. IMO hazard is a great dribbler no doubt but also oscar's most important talent is that he creates balances just as mourinho said which is a form of creativity that many fail to understand. A managers first job to a team is to bring balance to that team which makes oscar a managers boy and which is why coaches like ancelotti wanted him at PSG when they were suffering from imbalance. It is also the reason oscar is the brazil no. 10. He isn't in brasil team because of his world class goals or assists but because he brings or creates balance for the team in that role. In world football only tony kroos and oscar are exceptional in creating that kind of balance to a team but oscar is the better presser and tony kroos the better passer. Hazard and oscar for me are like robben and lampard where for chelsea and if their qualities are assessed objectively and with consistency they might both make the podium for the ballon D or for the roles they offer to their clubs and countries. They are still so young.

He has every possibilty of potential an outfield player wishes for.

If we win then we've qualified. Any kind of win would be a good result. Azpi should play to give ivanovic some rest or iva replaces cahill in central defense to give cahill some rest. I Would love to see zouma in a game that might be tricky and a good test for him. Oscar should rest and fabregas at no. 10, ramires in midfield and cech in goal.
-
I don't think he played bad at all. In a match like this too much was expected of him. Drogba is old and can't press leaving oscar to suffer mostly untill he got exhausted yet he was still creative and was involved in most of our best attacking moves. When he went off we couldn't keep possession any longer. His distribution might have helped. Drogba should have gone off as he was totally spent at the end.
-
All this babysitters should get their perspective right. Hazard missed a clear chance and people go back to oscar or drogba should have done this or that in that case hazard should also have created chances for drogba and oscar but no because hazard doesn't know clever runs like the so called shitty schurrle neither does he have his finishing ability. Its better he scores when he gets his chance than all this dribbles with little direct goal impact. He played really well for me but to some he was threatening without being a threat just take for example Dimaria and cesc had more impact by creating goals.

We should win especially as man utd are under pressure
-
Hard to see us loosing when we are assured of a penalty, an own goal and a goal from a setpiece. That's 3 goals for us already, it means man utd must score 4 but I don't think courtois is ready to concede that much haven settled in EPL.
-
Di maria has nothing to prove, he has played at higher level in terms of league and also national team for a long time and he actually is still young, but hazard does that's the difference, hazard needs to win trophies for us unfortunately he might get overshadowed by diego, fabregas or matic much like Dimaria was overshadowed by CR7. Hazard has been really good this season but has been overshadowed by cesc and diego but also matic and oscar sometimes. I don't think hazard can be world best its good to dream though my reason is because his attitude isn't world best and he isn't the most gifted player in the world either like say messi who does it easy so he needs to have the attitude of CR7 or lampard or he won't even get to the podium. Its hazard who needs to catch up to Dimaria and not the other way round. In Epl and chelsea I prefer hazard though for his strength and lack of injuries in a more sleek league like La liga i actually will prefer Di maria though. Now on to the bone of contention if we play well i expect us to win without much difficulties. Ramires must start but so should oscar the rest pick themselves easily.
-
-----Courtois-------- Iva-cahill-terry-luis ----Ramires-Matic---- -------Fabregas------ Oscar---------------hazard ----------costa----------- This is our strongest line-up. With this man utd have no chance at all. I hope to see this soon again I remember we used it against swansea(2nd half) and we absolutely killed them bar luis though.

Took an elbow calmly from flamini. That means including sanchez punch on ivanovic arsenal should have also had chambers, welbeck, koscielny sent off that's 5 possible red cards for them leaving six men on the pitch including their keeper. Should have ended 12 - 0. Lol
-
Sanchez should be banned retrospectively for that punch. Another red card arsenal should have had.
-
Then Diego must be our maradona
-
Great game vs arsenal. Someone wrote he plays like iniesta, dribbling and close control may be but hazard scores more but gets less assists and hazard is less technical than iniesta but more powerful. For now that's how I view him too like an EPL version of iniesta.
-
Scored a cracker vs bolton, created many chances vs sportin, closes down and presses Arsenal to the irritation of wenger. Three very good games showing three very different qualities of a great tactically outstanding player.
-
I think you got it wrong comparing oscar to willian or ramires. Hazard was our best player offensively, fabregas was best in midfield, Oscar was tactically our best player covering positions that needed to be covered especially on the right for schurrle who is weak defensively but also making super INTELLIGENT blocks (willian and ramires come short here). He did not go forward much because schurrle was expected to make those runs while he covers for him the proof of the tactics lies in the fact that oscar doesn't defend so much for us normally as he did in this game he ordinarilly presses high up front for us. If we played more defensively sound players like ramires or willian instead of schurrle oscar would have been more central and up the pitch as an attacking CAM.
-
The only thing that can go wrong in this game is if mourinho excludes oscar from his 3 man midfield. That will put too much pressure of creativity on cesc who will still have to contribute defensively otherwise I have no fear. Many criticise our right wingers (willian/schurrle/salah) for not being able to hold down a spot in our first team but I think that is exactly how mourinho wants it i think that is where he plays his cards with three different kinds of players (willian/schurrle/salah) plus Oscar sometimes. That gives him tactical flexibility than having just one permanent player there (like hazard on the left). Those 3 or 4 players will contribute more goals and assists and provide tactical versatility than if it where just one(even if the one is as good as hazard for example). Regardless any one of them will do well against arsenal but I'd prefer willian based on form.

Fabregas has been an excellent CM since modric was wearing diapers never mind they are almost of same age. It has been very clear in the last decade that xavi and pirlo were of a different class but also that fabregas would succeed them and so it is no surprise that fabregas is currently the best CM in the world. Call it form or whatever you like but it has since been obvious that after xavi and pirlo you have cesc to succeed. Modric is not as good as cesc and never has been whether at spurs or madrid.

Great Player. I am happy
-
Looked good creatively. Should have scored. We made their keeper look good.
-
He Played really well against villa and was probably the unseen man of the match.
-
I did not notice that bend in the shot before. But surely the shot would have been deflected away by the defender but for the bend on the ball. No wonder the bolton goalie came for his shirt after the game.
