I don't think hazard is a preseason player he is more of a player that gets going when things get serious like in a real match when the season starts. I support the way he is playing now because I don't want him to start dribbling and get injured over irrelevant preseason matches.

When is oscar returning? I can't wait to watch him play I believe he would be better and more confident after his first season. Seeing how much lukaku and Kdb have improved in just one season i can only imagine how much the likes of Oscar and hazard have developed i hope the same follows for MVG too.

I thought he was technically sound which is vital, has a good eye for a Lethal pass whether from deep or close to the box and physically impressive for a 20 year old. Yes he was a bit shaky when he came on hence the misplaced passes but still had the vision to see those passes and grew in confidence later. He still reminds me of how oscar had a shaky start at chelsea but in his case he has a whole preseason to understand his team and acquire confidence.

Mata should not be shifted to accommodate any player. Any one who has to play should earn it, improve or burst why shift a player who gives more penetration and direct play to chelsea than i've ever seen. Oscar won't thrive best in 10 except the team is built somewhat around him. KDB should be used on the right. Hence you have either Hazard-mata-Kdb or hazard-oscar-kdb. Mou has to see this I hope because mata hasn't the pace or strength to go past fullbacks his intelligence is best served in front of the opposition box.

Lampard is not a DM, same with ginkel(untested at this level), Nat is a squad player for now, david luiz will be an important player in central defence since Mou said ivanovic along with cesar are our right full backs for the season. To make u understand better, in Mou's recent comments he said he prefers a 4-2-3-1 formation. Now we have only mikel and Essien for DM role. Dat means mikel will get a lot of games except someone else comes in.

Contrary to what many are thinking it is quite clear from recent comments that mikel is going to be a prominent member of mourinho's squad especially if Mou isn't signing any other DM player.

But you said it yourself "strength". Don't be fooled lucas moura is younger than hazard and Neymar and he did superbly against Barca in last years champions league. My point is lucas has much more room to develop than Neymar.

Ronaldinho and Zidane were a class apart they practically had and did everything and football actually flowed in their veins when they played. Hazard for me will be top two in his generation. As for Neymar? I think lucas moura can be better than him because lucas is a natural athlete (stronger,more energy,more powerful shot, more speed, more direct play, also very skillful) goetze and co. Will be no where near hazards level in a few years time. Oscar could be up there but he is a very different type of player so they can't be compared.

You have been told several times oscar's statistics in terms of tackles and fouls. If dat doesn't convince you dat he is defensively sound then may be ill upload a picture of some of his tackles for you. Because he can make a tackle it makes him similar to scholes, ballack. Mata and sturridge(hazard) on the wings resulted in a mess in a 4-3-3 already before oscar came in so it might be a mess just about whoever plays there.Lastly oscar played in some games in a 4-3-3 in olympics along with romulo and sandro so he has played there before.

Unlike hazard or mata, Oscar is a natural no. 10 much like zidane, Deco, scholes, ballack, Totti e.t.c. therefore he will do well both in a 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 formations which have provisions for the no. 10 position/role. Where defensive ability really comes into play is in the CM position in a 4-4-2 formation but like scholes and ballack even oscar has the qualities for this and with experience and discipline will do very well in this position too, that is if such situation arises.

Nice read. But the fact still remains that oscar's best position is a free role at the no. 10 position, however mata is d matter and i see no reason why oscar can't be understudy to mata. Such is the situation with Xavi over an experienced fabregas at barcelona. So i think the same should suffice for Mata/Oscar. As mourinho says we need competition for all positions.

If he plays as well as he did in dutch league he will be fine. His development so far reminds me of oscar as they seem to get better with more games played. They both can form a really technically formidable midfield which along with a proper DM can provide an option to Mazacar.

Moses is very ok as a learning squad player and is better than most if not all that are on loan. Oscar is a different class. KDB and Schurrle haven't even kicked a ball yet. U CLEARLY DON'T KNOW FOOTBALL. Plus no need to argue as the best will be selected as the season starts.
