De Rossi is an old man. Fernandinho is only good because he is at the peak of his career at 27 yrs and won't last long. Where has he been? If he was always that good. Fellaini is just 24 yrs and is a player for present and future and provides more solutions in versatility than modric alonso and toure. Its funny that even now pple don't see how extremely useful a player like fellani will be to an already great club.

Midfielders and defenders can't always rescue us. RDM is doing the best that can be done with this transitional squad in time they will get better. Remember we played well without lamps terry and cole our most experienced players. Their talent determines their value, price and whether they will play for a club like cfc doesn't it? And oscar was underrated wasn't he? Lukaku isn't perfect in controlling balls but he is far more aggressive and gives defenders headache than torres and danny. Lukaku will learn he is only 19 Attack is best form of defence look at barca and their success smtimes they even play 3 at the back. Javier zanetti is 38 who says terry won't be even better then. As for lukaku I said 2-3 years time by then he will be just ok to be a starter. Oscar is not deep as he will be playing as CM(just as he did Vs Manu in capital one cup) not DM and ramires is perfect as box to box CM. Sorry Mikel doesn't fit in here probably in a formation with a pivot or DM which can be used interchangeably. For me this is our most attacking formation in the future. What's the comparison about? Oscar is more than good value for 25m, lucas is too expensive 44m, Neymar also expensive so we did the best business of the three. All good players playing different positions. Oscar is a midfielder(what we needed after lampard), lucas is a winger (we've got hazard don't need him), Neymar is a playmaker and needs the team to be built around him like messi, CR7 and now mata for Chelsea (we've got mata don't need him for that price except to replace torres as false 9 but then we prefer falcao in that position).

Plus he is the highest scoring midfielder so far in the champions league all the others are strikers.
