Oh please, I wasnt being agrressive. What you said is that what you said was nonsense imo, so I posted that. Sorry, if you felt offended by it. Do you suffer from leaves sindrome now?You havent counter argumented nothing of my points though... 1. Many rumors allude to anything the writer wants it to, there is not one single reliable source stating anything! 2. Laurentiis can say whatever he wants for the media and fans, what matters is that behind close doors the talk is different. Every major business is like this, just watch Arbitrage for you to comprehend... 3. Napoli rejected 30mi EUROS + Torres, which any club in the world would reject! 3. Does any of Mario Gomez, Edin Dzeko, etc will cost less than 14mi? Will any of them go to Napoli? 4. Napoli will not end up with more money if they do businees seperately. Getting £54mi for Cavani and buying another striker will not make them have more than £40mi in the end. So tell me how can this deal be idiotic? I will repeat this again, every deal has its variables and one involving Fernando Torres is just another one. There is nothing absurd in it!
-
Dude, stop with this nonsense!Laurentiis, isnt stupid, so he knows he wont be able to find a better striker than Torres (and who pleases Benitez) for less than 14mi. Torres + 40mi is a decent deal for all parts involved, nobody would be an idiot to accept such a deal. Napoli gets a striker and has 40mi to buy a very needed CB, a DM/CM and maybe even a GK for that price. How is that a bad deal? I have told you this many times, Fernando Torres under FSW (and in another League) wont be so useless as he is here. And even being that useless, he scored more than many popular strikers (I know the goals/min change everything, but we all know how statistcs can be manipulated and most people only look at absolute numbers). Taking a hit of 14mi to accept Torres into Naples has nothing idiotic about it. You will say it depends on many things and I agree, but so does all other possible deals. Rambo + money: Ramires needs to accept moving to Napoli (which I can assure you he wont be happy leaving right when Jose arrives), Mourinho needs to want it, we need to see how much money they will reduce of the final price, etc. Full price: Mourinho maybe has a budget he needs to adjust, Roman must decide whether he will pay that much (if Rambo isnt involved), etc.

Yes, it all depends how much Benitez want Torres back and how much Torres actually want to reunite forces with the Spaniard! Napoli wont be able to get a very top striker that pleases Benitez with less than £13-14mi (although some deluded people will lead you to believe Fernando is worth negative numbers). So, I can totally see Napoli accpeting 40mi + Torres! I am not saying it will happens as it depends on a lot of things, but so does us letting Ramires go or us paying 50+ for a single player...

Boateng gives nothing in return to replace Ramires, because Boateng would be more of the same thing we already have with De Bruyne! Ramires gives us that pace for counters and incredible work-rate and stamina not many midfielders have nowadays. Yes, he is a bit sloppy, but he is still a very important player to have in our squad because he gives the team a new dimension whenever needed. Prince will be a versatile midfielder who can play out wide and on the pivot as well. But all if this is very similiar to a certain player loaned out to Bundesliga and that has a contract with Chelsea. However, I much prefer keeping both Rambo and KDB than to invest 15mi (which can mean a new CB or DM) to go and get Boateng... P.S: Add to my football reasons, what Spike said about the Milan player!!!

LOL, I remember I did one of my best ever posts in Isco thread about not needing another CAM!
-
Yeah Chelsea, lets buy another CAM!
-
Its so simple...Ask Napoli if they want Torres, if they say yes, offer 40mi + Nando. If they say no, decide whether we think Cavani is worth the investment or not, then pay his buy-out clause or walk away! It shouldnt take a doctorate thesis to know what we have to do...

Fair play to Scotland, now Belgian has an open road to lose to Brazil in 2014!
-
^^ Pfft, that is easy. I want to see Hazard lifting Lukaku!
-
Those numbers are super wrong!
-
LMAO!
-
You know I wish you the best of luck mate, but I cant really help you any more than that!
-
I am watching Brazilian training session tbh...
-
It most definitely does. I started going to the gym everyday and I lost 12kg in less than 2 months and now I am already starting to see my arm getting bigger! I also had a 4-pack before I got fat and that is starting show up again too...

Find me a girl who isnt complicated and I give you a Puzzler Prize!
-
It actually is, Oscar has a way greater potential than KDB has!
-
That is the exact reaction you want to cause on her. If you stop giving her too much attention, she will miss it and will want your company back!
-
Dont get me started on Cùrinthias...
-
Maybe that is the problem, stop chasing her and I bet you she will return to you like a puppy!

I find it funny that, bar TOPTB, all members complaining about WHS winning the award are losers!

Each time you quote me I lol at your arguments! 1. We are fans, we care about stupid and pointless aspects of the game a top player doesnt worry about when deciding each team to join. Cavani doesnt care if Chelsea is this or City is that. He (and many others) only care about how much money he will make and if he will be fighting for trophies! 2. The fact one cares about something, it doesnt make it not pointless. Just because someone likes ants, it doesnt make them important for someone else! 3. Top players are different than others, they sit in a position where they can choose where they want to play. Charlie Adam cant stop at home and question himself if he wants to play for Chelsea or City. While top players, because they are very good footballers, can. That is why what I am saying only fits to top players, because they are the only ones with that kind of freedom! 4. Lampard, when he first came, he didnt care about that stuff and it was not what made him join Chelsea. It was money and the possibility of trophies (which is what all players search for). After that, when he became a FAN, Frankie started to pay attention to the little details that makes Chelsea, Chelsea! 5. Lampard, Messi, Gerrard, etc, care about what fans care because they are fans themselves, even though they are top players!! However, a typical player like CR7 or Aguero will only look at individual benefits (which they are totally allowed to). Those points are not so hard to understand, it doesnt require much brain activity to do so! EDIT: So there is no pointing in doing stupid predictions on why Cavani would choose team A over team B because there are only two reasons that will influence him, money and trophies!
-
Do people think its a given Cavani would choose us over ManCity? :lol2: I agree we have more pros than cons, but I can see Edinson going to Manchester if they offer more money or even if they persuade him their project is big enough! People think top players care about pointless stuff we (fans) do...

The Pub is getting boring with all these talk about Dion's girl (or not so much) and now JayJay talking about using Google Translate and Chinese people! -.-
-
Not really, this is all trash talk to increase any bid we or shitty might do! Cavani wants out, Benitez want a pacy striker, Napoli needs money to improve in other areas, we have Mourinho, City has crazy rich owners, etc. Their president (I never ever remember his name ffs) is trying to get as much as he can. If you own an expensive and desired player like Cavani, you throw at the media that you will only sell for the maximum price. However, behind closed doors, he is reachin for a deal (with whoever club he sees an advantadge, be that financial or not)...

Why people think Roman is some sort of an alien who cant acknowledge and learn from the mistakes he has done? Abramovich knows this latest managers sacking and panic buys didnt work and that Chelsea needs stability with a quality manager to be successful in the long term and not only during 6 months. If Mourinho does a great job in the first three seasons, I can see the Russian thinking twice or even three times before sacking him if things start to fall down. I can realistic imagine Jose staying for 6-7 years or more. I honestly believe we are one step above the stigma of a "crazy rich club". We have already an stablished loyal fan base, great infra-structure, amazing set of young talents and competent professionals to not do another Torres like deal. No way Jose and/or Roman will fuck this up!!!!
