Yeah, but until I dont see the new manager, I am not playing with the formation... You agree with the new names though and off loads?
-
This... Get rid of Torres and loan Lukaku for one more season. Also, off load Marin, Benayoon and Malouda. Move Oscar to the pivot. Buy Cavani and Schurrle! Have Hazard, Mata, Moses, Schurrle and KDB to rotate on the attacking trio. Cavani and Ba as the strikers! On the pivot, loan Romeu and Chabolah. Get rid of Mikel (not necessarily though). Promote Ake and buy Capoue. Buy Modric or Moutinho...We would have Oscar, Moutinho, Ramires, Capoue and Ake. Defense is fine, we only have to buy a CB and LB to replace Cole and Terry next year.
-
Will he work on the 4-2-3-1 with Hazard-Mata-Schurrle?
-
A midfield of Capoue and Modric/Moutinho would be much better, no comparison.

I dont think you understand our level of desperation. We have no choice other than José! Pellegrini has the Real's failure in his resume, it is not all flowers either. The first time he had huge egos to manage he wasnt able to thrive. If he does a Carlo, that wont help. Because the other manager will come and try to implement a whole different system, will ask for different players and that translates to more money being spent and more time needed to adjust the squad. I am fed up of the constant change of managers, we need some stability. Not meaning 10-15 years, but at least 3-4. We would have been way more dominant without the changes, we are only successful because we spent more than everyone else. We would have made Ferguson a joke if we kept José or at least didnt change the coach so many times. I bet we would have much more trophies...
-
I dont care, because he will get sacked anyway.
-
It is totally relevant! You can make a case for a lot of managers, but that will mean nothing because Roman will go full retard whenever we lose a set of 4 consecutive games or whatever. Our manager situation is only a complicated one because of Roman and the Board. RDM started really well and so did Scolari, that didn't count for anything. Roman will only have full confidence in Mourinho or Guardiola, one is already out of question, the other is a must. It is no secret Pellegrini is a great coach, but his problems lie with him not being Roman's first option. Do you really want to start another season with a second choice coach? To scream for Benitez help again? To be the first club to sack a manager again?
-
Stability is overrated, but that doesnt mean it isnt important. If we didnt have so mnay managers, the years between Mourinho and Carlo would have been way more successful and this horrible transition would have been better handled. Yet, Jose has no blame at all in this. I think he would have stayed for good with us. Now I dont think he is capable anymore...
-
Forgot the most important thing, Roman wont have patience...
-
How can someone say this is not horrible!
-
What do you mean playmaker? He is no Moutinho or Modric. That doesnt mean he cant create though...
-
Have you seen Vidal or Khedira? The same type of player...
-
Tell me he can honestly play on the flanks without compromising our defensive system (remember that Hazard and Mata arent exactly work horses) that I accept him here...
-
I shall ask for your forgiveness. I am only a young Padawan, Master WHS wont be very happy with my bad behavior...
-
Well, my job is complete. You will get annoyed and remember me everytime you bold a word. VICTORY!
-
Isco to fight with KDB, Oscar and Mata for position? We basically need everything but CAMs and you want to bring here exactly a CAM?
-
Yes, it would be awesome. But like I said, use it with a pinch of salt and a little bit of adaptation. 4-4-2 doesnt really work anymore, it was good while it lasted. A very well organised and solid 4-3-3 (like we had), with our new talented players can become a real beauty to watch. With passes and infiltrations of Brazil and the movement and tactical discipline of Holland. Would certainly be something special! We just need to right coach...

I get what you are saying if you are picturing the broader image. Meaning that you can play great football like the past... However, you cant try to copy what once worked 30 years ago. You can get some ideas (like Barcelona did), but in order to have the same impact in history and to be loved by your playing style, you must create your own personality. Also, Barcelona is boring, but not slow! I personally love the way Chelsea played back in the 00s. We were very solid on defense, super efficient on the counter but we still had good enough players to do some magical build-up plays. I am of the opinion English football should not try to emulate Brazil or Clockwork Orange. I honestly believe we must continue with that route and Mourinho coming back is an immense sign of it. I definetly dont want Chelsea to be Barcelona 2.0 or Brazil 2.0. I want us to be Chelsea and remembered because of it and because of where we come from, UK. I honestly think the Board has learned its lesson with the whole Guardiola thing and that is why they want to go back to Mourinho, the ultimate opposite of Pep. If José can make us dominat like before and stays here to win 4 EPL and 2 UCL in a 10year spell or whatever, we will be remembered for ages!

It is all beautiful, but that doesnt work in today's football. The game has changed, even the grass has changed. The fast pace of today would rip those teams apart.

Who to blame for the worst season in the Roman era ?
Rmpr replied to Bosnian Blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It doesnt matter, it is his hobbie and not his business. He only appears from time to time and some decisions are made by our Board without even consulting him. Not taking away his massive blame, but it isnt all his fault just because he owns it. Are all our titles in the last decade because of his money? No. The same applies for when things are going bad... -

Going out against Swansea in terrible fashion (no goals scored), had no chance vs City and being in the semifinals of UEL is nothing to be proud of. Wont even touch the two shameful defeats to Atletico and Corinthians, the appointment of shit FSW (sorry, I completely disagree with your article) and the disgraceful lost for QPR at home...If we fail to qualify to UCL and we lose to Basel, this will certaintly be our worst season under Roman. -
I didnt get that, lmao.
