Also I wouldn't give credits to luck in this game. That was a forced mistake by Torres. If he wasn't pressing there it probably wouldn't have occurred. Even considering it was luck, you have to consider they were lucky that Torres missed that easy sitter and hit the crossbar afterwards, so they were luckier. Torres deserved that goal. To be honest I thought both of them were very poor. Not that they were very very bad but very below their standards. Defensively they were kinda ok, Oscar a bit better here, as always, while Hazard a bit better offensively. Both poor anyways. What was getting on my nerves was Oscar trying to make plays without raising his head and looking for teammates. ALL. THE. FUCKING. TIME. There were at least 2 crosses to nobody, a back heel to a city defender and I think there was something else. Also he killed a counterattack by tripping over the ball.

I think he still has a lot of fans. I am still a huge fan of Mata and I'm hoping he can find form and return to the team as soon as possible. It's hard to defend him as a starter with the way he has been playing, though.

It was pretty much your point to me at least. You said they were CL finalists and were the better CB pair in the world. Also, it amuses me that you say Luiz is a liability and makes stupid mistakes yet you say if I watched BVB play I would know how good Subotic and Hummels are, because they have had a lot of terrible performances not long ago.

No, the point is we cannot say Borussia players are better because they were the finalists. Their defence was indeed better in last year's CL, but you can't say they defended better because Hummels or Subotic are better than D. Luiz, their whole defensive system was better. It's just stupid and unfair to say we should buy them because they were CL finalists, that means shit for the comparison between them.

Not only that, but Barça went for Hummels only after they were denied D. Luiz.

Maybe we should sell all our players and buy Borussia team, they were the CL finalists afterall.

I really like KDB's playstyle and I hope he can find good form and play regularly. Nothing makes me more excited about the game than miraculous defence-splitting passes. I'm used to go analyzing every possible pass in every single moment while watching football matches and, while I do that, I always choose a "best option" in my head. Nothing amazes me more than a player pulling off some pass that is better than the ones I had predicted to be the best in my mind. It takes real vision, creativity and skill to beat us, viewers, who can read the game from an aerial point and with no pressure on our shoulders. Moreover, I do believe KDB has the potential to not only become a player who will be able do that, but also do it several times per match, assuming he can fulfill that potential. Heck, he has already impressed me with a couple passes so far. If he was able to do that in a bad run of games, I can only dream of what he can become if he is to evolve his game.

I don't think Oscar has what it takes to be a false nine. Honestly, I can't see any valid reason to even try that. He doesn't have the scoring prowess nor the speed. His dribbling, while above average, is also lacking. He's certainly more useful coming from deep, where he can make use of both his offensive and defensive capabilities to their full extents. If we were to try some false nine, Hazard would be a much better choice. Even Schurrle, despite being a poor finisher, would.
