  1. I thought I started beginning to understand, how wrong I was.
  2. And we are. But women's minds are undiscovered territories.
  3. I've learned my lesson about arguments with women already. Doing it the hard way.
  4. You are on your own beyond enemy lines, soldier.
  5. Welcome to the forum, mate! Hope you enjoy your stay and become an active member :blue scalf:
  6. It's been a while. They gave her parts to the dogs, was it?
  7. More like on "the" forum because he was referring to this forum (TalkChelsea), with a definite article, not any forum. But yeah, you got the idea.
  8. I'm not a beach person either, but it's always a nice view to have. I'm a cold weather lover as well and I plan to move somewhere colder as soon as I can
  9. If you mean the place I was born, Recife. If you mean where I live now, João Pessoa. If you mean where I was raised I wouldn't know what place I should answer
  10. I believe Henrique is from Brasília.
  11. @Barbara, you're going to know him soon enough. He runs the welcoming committee
  12. Welcome, fellow Brazilian! Make yourself at home and beware of @Stingray.
  13. Well, I've heard Hernanes is praised as one of the best midfielders in Serie A. If I'm not mistaken he has been linked for a move to Juventus, Milan or Bayern. But ye, I think he's a bit underrated and unknown outside Italy.
  14. I'd have Ramires for Paulinho's role too. But Paulinho is not much worse than Ramires and he's one of the highlights of Corinthians, which means there's some pressure in Brazil for calling him. Also, there's some interest from agents and powerful people related to Corinthians for him to be played so they can get a better value in a future selling. In any case, I'd have Gustavo (maybe Lucas Leiva, I don't know how he's been playing of lately after recovering from injury) and Hernanes behind Oscar. I don't care if it would be slower, those players can control the midfield better than any other players we have. Edit: probably we should give a chance to Fernandinho and Willian too.
  15. I agree with you, Hernanes is miles and miles better than Paulinho. Never rated Paulinho very highly. Hernanes defends better and is a more complete footballer, shoots with both feet, better vision, better pass, better dribble, has european experience etc. He is the closest to a deep-lying playmaker that we have. Yep. He scores a lot of goals for a defensive midfielder. He already scored 2 or 3 goals for our NT and he didn't play a lot of games, like 10 or so. But he's not the type of player who will create the plays, he will make a run from behind, pick up a pass and score. I prefer Hernanes who can both create or finish the chances created.
  16. Gustavo is a beast. Paulinho's best attribute is his offensive contribution. He is very average defensively.
  17. DL's errors are very over exaggerated. If you follow a defender on a consistent basis you will notice they all make mistakes here and there. Hummels was god to some people not long ago, but we all saw how he performed on UCL. Had he performed well people who don't follow his matches would still think he was a thousand miles above Luiz.
  18. David Luiz was one of our best players this season and arguably the best of the second half, and his best performances were at CB. If we are selling him we'd better ask for a huge sum of money.
  19. Well, tbh KDB does good for both his club and NT too.
  20. They were booing Scolari for taking off Oscar. They wanted Lucas for Hulk.
  21. Neymar is playing really badly for NT as of lately. Also, this year he's in bad form for Santos.
  22. I don't know. When he was young and played in Brazilian League I thought he was hugely overrated.
  23. He's had some problems in his career. But mostly when he was younger. He had a fight with his coach and it was really bad on his image. But he seems to be a lot better now, if I'm not mistaken he had some professionals to help him cope with his ego problems so it shouldn't be a problem anymore. Real Madrid's bid was better in every aspect, but Neymar wanted Barcelona after Santos got thrashed by them in 2011. Also his dad said they thought Barcelona suited his game style better.
  24. He may or may not be a Robinho 2.0. But Robinho lived in his shadow when he returned to Santos briefly. And Neymar was just 18 or 19, while Robinho had plenty of experience already. Also, Neymar is way better than Robinho was at his age in pretty much every regard.
  25. I honestly expect a lot more from Oscar. I'm hoping he can deliver at least the level he has when playing for out NT next season. Btw, in the Adidas video they translated that he would like to stay in Chelsea for "some years". I'm not a native english speaker but for me "some years" might give the impression he wants to move somewhere in the middle-long term, that he expects an end to his relationship with Chelsea in the future, but what he actually said in portuguese is "a lot of years", which is way more indefinite time.
