And we conceded! Unbelievable.
-
Ugh, going for the chip proved to be the less efficient option to finish.
-
Good start. Kennedy did well with the delivery as well as Ramires with the finish.

The very fact that this non story is back on the headlines and is even presented as breaking news annoys every single fibre of my being. Even before the incident Eva has received much more attention than the usual staff member and it's completely ridiculous. To be honest I am not really sure why I'm posting in this topic, the media always manage to find something like this and use it as a beatstick for as long as possible.
-
From what I've seen so far, it'd be surprised if we somehow manage to avoid a loss here.
-
You're probably right. However, I'm looking at it from a sensible fan's perspective - just want to move on and stop giving this non-story publicity. And Eva could definitely do without the stupid facebook message. I mean why would you indirectly launch a public attack on your moody boss is beyond me, even if you hadn't done anything wrong.
-
Am I the only one who doesn't care about that argument and who is right and who is wrong? In the end of the day Jose is the man in charge and Eva is just an easily replaceable member of the staff.

We continue our losing streak in the Mickey Mouse cups which started with the loss against City in August 2012. I won't lose any sleep over this...Time for the real football to start.
-
It's not a meaningless friendly, it's a glorified one... I can see why people are getting so worked up over this with the season only a week away from its start, but let's keep it real. I find it hilarious when people are saying "if they beat us tomorrow, we're won't hear the end of it". We've been a dominant force in the English football (not to mention among the London football clubs) for more than a decade, with only United being in our league in terms of achievements. And what about Arsenal, a team without a win over us in almost 4 years and two FA cups in 10 years...What exactly is going to change if they get one over us in a game where managers are allowed to use more than 3 subs?...
-
Great signing. We got a great back up who won't let Courtois get too comfortable with his place as number one keeper in the team. Even without Petr we still have the best GK pair in the EPL.
-
Cech or no Cech, Arsenal's problems go way beyond the goalie, so it's highly unlikely to see them challenging for any trophies besides the COC or the FA cup. To Petr I'd like to say thanks for the services, we've got some great memories and no matter what happens from now on he's already cemented his place as one of the greatest keepers in the club's history.
-
It kinda sucks, because Petr still has time to seal a place in Arsenal's history in the next 5-6 years and knowing them he'll be given the armband at some point... That being said I don't feel too hurt by the inevitable move, because once you've seen your favourite player play for a different team and score against yours making that one of your worst days as a supporter, you start taking more philosophical approach to the game.
-
Not really bothered about it. Gerrard still remains without a league-winning medal and that's something the media can't change no matter how much they'd like to.
-
Oh and I forgot to add that QPR are officially relegated.
-
We keep our unbeaten streak and Liverpool are officially out of the top 4 battle. I think it's been an okay day all around.
-
I'm quite impressed with Leicester. By the end of March they had only 19 pts, rock bottom and set for relegation, but from then on they won 6 of their next 7 matches, losing only to the Premier League winners. Hull's last two games are against Spurs (A) and Man Utd (H) and after losing today, they're going to need something special to avoid relegation.
-
Oh, well... When City are done he can stay in London for the night and come over to our party.
-
It's only been 5 years and it feels like a lifetime ago since our last EPL title celebration. I'm going to ask some of my scouser friends how does it feel to wait 5 x 5 years for a league title.

Who is the Most Handsome Player in Our Squad?

Diego. -
Pretty sure Remy is going to start if he's fit. Either way, we should get the job done and start the celebrations in the early afternoon.

How will you celebrate Chelsea's championship?

I'll buy something weird from the megastore. Diego Costa mask, maybe? -
Considering even the FA picked Hazard for the EPL Player of The Year, it's hard to look elsewhere for the number 1 choice. If I have to make a top 5 list of our best players this season, the ones that deserve to be mentioned are Costa, JT, Matic and Fabregas (still can't believe Coutinho took his place in the EPL team of the season).

LVG has been Mourinhoed. Up the Chels!

Don't care about performance at this stage. We got the three points and I'm completely satisfied!
