I do not mind loaning out Hazard for a year. We will see in the WC if he performs better, but from his recent La Liga performances that I watched, he looked okay. One huge difference between Chelsea's Hazard and Real Madrid Hazard is apart from his injuries that Hazard does not have much freedom at Madrid. At Chelsea, he had all the freedom he needed because he is maybe our greatest player ever. At Madrid, he is not their main star and he does not get all the freedom. Currently, Benzema is their main star, prior to that it was Penaldo. So, Hazard will never perform the same. I remember Chelsea vs Manchester City with Sarri as our manager, in which Hazard had no freedom and was not allowed to leave the left winger spot because of Sarri's tactical instructions. Sarri wanted to hold Hazard on the left wing, which should have given RLC more space to penetrate Manchester City's defense. In the end, Hazard did not perform that well and we did not either lol. But Hazard needs freedom to perform at his best.

I also voted for Mount, but his competition apart from Silva and Mendy was pretty bad. Silva obviously is on another level, but defenders rarely win such things. Willian also won POTY and he was never a WC player

Werner is in his prime and not performing, while he is one of the greatest Bundesliga players to ever play Bundesliga, even though I never rated him. We just lack world class players. We only have Silva and Kante, who are truly world class

Yes, you need some football IQ, but I think it is his acceleration that makes him troublesome for defenders to deal with. When Werner starts sprinting, it is hard for defenders to deal with him. That is why defenders like to be close to him because they can either get the ball before him or speculate that he makes a bad first touch. If it is a through ball, it will be tough for them either way. Werner is one of the greatest ever Bundesliga players, if you just judge him by the stats. If werner was slower, I don't think he would be here at Chelsea. You can make good runs, but if you are as slow as Giroud, there is no point.
