  1. Do the rule makers of Uefa even play football? That rule would mean that I can lift my arm up high as high as I want and then head it to my hand and get away with it. Who comes up with those rules? Just like the new handball rule that apparently almost everything is handball, regardless if your arm is close to your body in a natural position or unnatural position like Can was (if for instance KDB shot and it hit Can's, hand like yesterday, it would be a, penalty even in the old rules, but also a pen in the new rule book) . All the analysis of the game by English experts(BT sports) I found on Youtube said that the arm was in an unnatural position and I agree with that, so giving penalty is the right call. The old rule was perfect. I never complained about it. These new rules make me so angry.
  2. He does not offer much else when he does not score goals and he is clearly very dependent on his teammates giving him good passes. He is currently nowhere near Mbappe level because even when Mbappe does not score, he is always involved in the game and always dribbles past players or makes good passes to his teammates. Haaland is basically a white Drogba, who reached his prime earlier, but even prime Drogba at 32 years old offered more than just goals. His hold up play was much more solid and elegant, while Haaland has a good hold up play, but it is still very raw. Drogba's link up play was much better and he also had very underrated passing abilities. Unlike most strikers, prime Drogba was able to play some good through balls. I almost watched every game of Haaland's in recent weeks and I do not see what makes him worth 150 million Euros. Yes, he will score hundreds of goals at Man Sheikhy, but they have KDB and other world class passers. Yes, he would score hundreds of goals at PSG because of Neymar, Di Maria and Verratti. But he will struggle at Chelsea.
  3. For me, it was an obvious penalty. You learn as a kid that you should always let your arm close to your body, when you are defending in your box. Especially nowadays that almost every incident is awarded a penalty, regardless where your arm is positioned, this Can incident should even be more awarded a penalty. I would say that the Bellingham situation was BS in the first leg, but I would be furious if Chelsea did not get a penalty for the Can incident. Can is just stupid for putting his arm in that position
  4. I think Ederson should have saved that. He conceded a typical Kepa goal
  5. Vinicius is deadly. His pace and dribbling skills are high level. He may not score many goals, but Neymar does not score either in big games, but still causes trouble.
  6. He is our only creative player in the startinf eleven. Was missed badly
  7. Question is what does he offer when he does not score. Today, Kai played false 9 and was really good apart from couple of his failed shots. He was everywhere. Haaland is a tap in machine and we will see how good his hold up play in PL will be. But he is nowhere near Lewandowski and Kane level currently, who even when they do not score goals, they are completely world class
  8. Tammy probably not on the bench lol. My only prediction for that match
  9. I thought he did not play well apart from his goal
  10. He had 9 touches in the first half. If that was Tammy playing in the first half with that kind of performance, he would have been subbed off. Tuchel loves Werner so much 😂
  11. Aguero is basically how Werner is supposed to play his role at Chelsea. Aguero is fast, can score goals, has world class technical abilities and is very good at passing. I would still take him at Chelsea. If we get Lukaku/Haaland, they both would do well with Aguero
  12. Wasn't a 180 million player performance today
  13. Or on the bench because Vinicius might play as a left winger before him
  14. Riyad Mahrez used to do this excercise at Leicester. I also want to learn the nordic, but without a partner or a nordic bench, I can't do this excercise.
  15. Haaland invisible. Let's see what he does in the second half
  16. You also forget that he played many matches with an ankle injury during his period in which he did not score, so he was not at his best during that time either.
  17. If you want a 20 goal striker, you just can let have Tammy 3000 minutes of game time and he will score you 20 goals. He played last season a little bit over 2000 minutes and had 15 goals and 6 assists. Give him more minutes and he will score more

  19. The Athletic now reported it too
  20. Question is why Toni is so much involved regularly in bust ups. He also had some couple of bust ups during national team training.
  21. I think he is good, but he has still some weaknesses. People overhype him as some Messi/CR7 level, but he is not even prime Henry or Suarez level yet and might never reach their level. I would say that Haaland is top 7 striker in the world currently. Lautaro, Kane, Lukaku, Messi, Benzema,Lewandowski and Haaland. Haaland has amazing attributes. He is tall, very fast for his size, has decent first touch and a very good finishing rate. But people forget that he plays with other great offensive players too. Sancho, Reus and Hazard are all good players and all four together in a bad league like Bundesliga will get you insane goal stats. When Haaland plays for Norway, he often does not perform. Why? He does not have other great players next to him. Haalands biggest weaknesses from what I have seen are his hold up play and his aerial threat. He is quite tall, but does not score with his head enough. Lewin for instance is miles ahead of him when it comes to scoring with his head.
