Sarri only plays 4-3-3, so a back 3 is not an option. Azpi is too small if he only has Luiz to protect him.

But in this case, it is a valid point because Azpi had two guys to cover his height and it failed. If his only big partner is Luiz, our opponents will just start using crosses towards Azpi and thats it. 4-4-2 formation with two big strikers. Luiz can only handle on of their strikers. This is the PL, not La Liga. Puyol was world class back then even when he was small, but he played in La Liga. This league is way more physical.

But he is too small for that position long term. I remember playing against Spurs under Conte where we played a defensice with three CB and Azpi was way too small, even when he had Luiz and Cahill besides him. I hope that Sarri is not that stupid that he wants to use him long term on that position because that would be suicide.

Just give Billy Gilmoure a start or someone else from the youth. Cahill, Barkley, Higuain,Ampadu and Zappacosta should start too. Maybe their last matches for the club.

Maybe the love from our fans will change his mind though. I also think that even with Hazard and Pogba, Real Madrid will still not be good enough to beat clubs like Liverpool, Barcelona or City. Pogba will not change that much, Hazard and Jovic would improve them a lot, but they still lack in midfield and in the defensive positions. Furthermore, this project will also take some time. I hate Tottenham too, but I would love to have players like Son (way better than Willian), Lucas (way better than Willian) or Eriksen (way better than Jorginho). I hate their club, but some of their players and especially their coach deserve it. I would fucking love to have Pochettino here instead of Sarri. When Spurs start having more money, they will be a new force in PL and we will struggle with that. World wide, their fan base will grow regardless because of that night yesterday and the fact that they stand in the final. Our Fan base probably grew when we won CL, but not in Germany because everyone supports Bayern .We are probably the most hated PL team in Germany, maybe in the world, even though Pool or City invest as much and sometimes even more than we do... In a perfect world, Barcelona or Ajax would have won the CL final, but now it is a match between two clubs I hate. BUT I hate Pool more than Spurs. Nobody cares when Pool spends millions of pounds. Everyone hates when we spend 150 mio. in a season. Pool will be a completely new force and will be the new Real Madrid/Barcelona of the world. I don´t want that to happen.
