Very harsh calling him a flop when he is constantly injured. Can't kick on if he can't play.

Being 21 with a team still gelling in. New league, language and culture in the hardest league of them all for a pretty timid guy. Often restricted to the wings. When he has been playing as a 10 and the team has been more organized in the middle and attack he has been a focal point of some very nice moves.

Mendy and Chilwell are definite upgrades and you can see that they are relied upon. Only thing we needed was someone to carry the ball from midfield into open space in their half. I thought Havertz would do that, but he was restricted to the wing a lot. Kovacic would have had a field day there. Instead we had Kante who can carry the ball but can't finish off his move well. I get that Kante is a great defensive player who is great off the ball as well, but Jorginho can't make a killer pass when our forwards are pressed this much and that is why we need someone to carry the ball and get the attention of the defenders. Pulisic can do it but he hasn't quite got his touch yet. Azpi and Thiago with a great performance. Reece is a tank as usual, and is getting better at controlling the ball.

Why even bother competing against them when VAR doesn't even check on that Maguire wrestling.

wow okayyyy....? I simply made an observation on what was happening for a good 20 minutes of the debate. Biden, who usually is pretty calm, raised his voice numerous times while answering pretty routine questions. He even pointed angrily at the moderator for a while as he was yelling. While Trump has much history with raising his voice, he didn't do that on this occation. My comment had nothing to do with me saying that Trump is better or vice-versa. Just a funny observation.

That debate was crazy. Even crazier than Trump v. Clinton. I was pretty excited to watch this (staying up until 3am), but sometimes I just had trouble watching.

Everyone going crazy way too soon IMO. I'm reserving judgement on Lampard until he has all his players up and running. No pre-season and we are without Pulisic! We haven't even seen Ziyech, Silva and Chilwell in full swing either. Havertz and Werner have looked promising, both have made assists (Werner winning penalties) and scored a goal (Havertz with three!) When we have Havertz and Chilwell fully fit, with Werner running through the middle and Ziyech making dangerous passes to Pulisic we will be feared. If Lampard can't make it work with them, then I will be a little worried. We still have players starting that still have some way to go, i.e. CHO, and Abraham. Mount is very good but overworked.

Pretty nice performance. Sure is commanding at jumping for the ball. Hard to judge on the penalties, but it looked like Hilario told him to go to his left all the time.

I think Brendan Rodgers is one of the best managers in the world.

Two mistakes in his two games. Other than those mistakes he has been really solid in defence and really good on the ball. Crisp fast passing. Much faster passing than any other of our CBs. If he irons out these mistakes he is a nailed on starter for me, at least for the teams that don't have rapid forwards like Liverpool.
