A pretty fair amount, considering how big a game this is.
Either the coach has some new tactics up his sleeve (like tiring us out then bringing Ikone and Osimhen out for a killer blow), or he just doesn't care about the CL anymore since they have no chance of qualifying.
Now, since our attacking has dried up a bit for the time being, I feel that Frank must focus on defense at number 1, 2 and 3.
Probably our strongest defensive line-up would be (depending on how fit Rudiger is after being out for half a season).
James/Azpi - Rudiger - Tomori - Emerson.
Was he on the field and left to pee when in the middle of a losing game? What is going on at Arsenal with this, Özil and Xhaka arguing with fans and Emery sacked...
In an interview after the game one of them said that Tammy told Mason at halftime to stay close to him as he would drop at least one ball down for him.
However, we do have some players who are good at heading the ball. Tomori and Zouma are pretty good and have gotten close pretty much every game. A good delivery can also create chaos in the box, which is something that can result in goals. Cahill scored many goals from chaos in the box.
Cantwell seems more of a winger or wide AM than a midfielder, like the ones you mentioned. If his buy blocks any of those young guys then I would not do it. Gilmour, in particular, has so much promise!
However, Arsenal drew at Norwich
I think he fell out because he was injured.
What wrong would it do to try out Ian Maatsen if both Alonso and Emerson are not gonna give a 100% effort though?
Can't believe this. He signed a 6 year contract with us recently and has never kicked up a fuss about anything. He is a Chelsea fan and has been integral in our recent win streak. He is also still young for a CB and has been improving so much.
If Rudiger comes in and displaces him on merit, then so be it. However, I can't believe people can talk about replacing this beast so easily. With who!? 30 year old Koulibaly for 80 million?
