Yup any team owned by a country or has 'royal' patronage like Madrid or PSG is going to be ahead of the pack Chelsea imploding -we got our proper Chels back last couple of games

I find that statement very hard to equate with being a Chelsea fan

Watched it again and a lot was down to shit refereeing as well. Two definite free kicks should have been awarded to us which led to two of their goals seconds afterwards. Bakayoko shouldn't have even had a yellow let alone two -Mike Dean has sent off more Premier Lge players than any other referee. So my summary was, yes, underperforming players, not helped by an abysmal refereeing performance and foaming mouth journalists.

There’s good and bad in that, obviously we know the positive and the proof’s there that his methods work, but it doesn’t help for games like tonight where we need to win and we’ve got no striker!

Some are in games some are in training. I am not convinced he is handling the pressure all that well. Constant moaning about the squad full of internationals he has been given. Eight players have had hamstring injuries so far this season. I suggest he hasn’t worked out how to handle the extra games/travelling/squad rotation that his success last season has given him this season.

True - last night there was no focal point -no Drogba, Costa, ...Chris Sutton So there were random attacking half baked plans that came to nought. Dzeko would have been ideal for that attacking focal point, but it seems we're saving money for the real bulldozing and the development of SB. On the positive Hudson Odoi was gem on what was probably Contes worst night for a while..

Agree with a lot of posts here, basically a lacklustre performance by by some, and a reflection of under investment with other squad members. Apart from that another vital ingredient is missing - theres no galvaniser, no shouter and motivator when required. That's where JT and Lampard mattered

Think he's a decent signing, especially for 15m. Can come in instantly and do a job, wont take time to settle/get used to a new league etc. He can play CL too. He should have been starting every week for the goons ahead of Lacazette. After the names we've been linked with, we could do a lot worse.,,but we could also do a lot better
